Wow Ladies, I'm in the abstaining club until marriage but I certainly believe in a bit of knowledge goes a long way. Been getting lots of very fun advice from sisters and also just advice on what to expect which is great too. This post has definitely been informative!

What I've learned: Fluctuating sex drives are totally normal and common, excellent to know.

We are also big fans of Date Night. It can be anything, but mainly time devoted to us.

Years ago, when I was in marital counseling that obviously didn't work, Date Nigth was strongly suggested.

Btw, the marriage didn't work because of lack of or anything, it had everything to do with the ex wanting someone other than me, someone older. My reaction, are you freaking kidding me? She is ugly and dumb, what's the attraction?

Also, when we watch t.v./movie together, which I consider passive entertainment, we like to make it more intimate by the simple act of holding hands or snuggling. Since the hot flashes are kicking my old tart butt, most of the time it is hand holding. If we even have one hour a night(due to his work schedule), it's all good. It keeps us on the same page.

Oh Carole, I cannot imagine how that must have felt with your ex or how you got over it. If H ever looked elsewhere it would ruin me. You're such a sassy, bubbly, vivacious little thing - what crazy man would want to go elsewhere??

My dad cheated on my mom like 30 years ago and she's still bitter and hurt about it. Our wedding drove her into therapy at the thought of having to be in the same room with him. It actually kind of makes me nuts b/c she still talks about it ALL THE TIME and I don't always want to hear it but I try to be sensitive b/c I just can't imagine how it felt.

Hmmm okay I also learned that if mine ever gets low, pull out 50 shades of grey and buy some new lingerie and schedule a date night of monopoly and wine and have some fun...sounds great to me!!

Finally hmmm finally keep flash light and towel in car at all times....I think that about covers it thanks ladies

We are in the maybe 5 times a month club We have 3 children and there is never any time. However since we got married on saturday It has been like everynight

So, I read this post last night after the Phillies game and was too exhausted (see: not sober) to participate. I am so glad I waited because reading these last 8 pages has been nothing but extremely entertaining, I've laughed, I've cried, I laughed again.

@Carole, FDR park IN Philly used be our "during the work day" spot! LOL! We were so bad when we first starting dating / secretly seeing each other. Another day...

@Hayley - Holy. S. Balls. I mean, good for her if that is what she is happy doing, but again, holy s. balls. that's all I can say.

My drive has been down recently too.. I went off the pill because FH and I want to get preggers right away, if we can. I'm not sure if that has something to do with it, or that our schedules have gotten NUTSO and the whole condom thing is annoying... blah blah blah. I refuse to be a pregnant bride so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

Also Lizz, any time I've gone on or off any kind of BC it messes with my system. That's why I honestly just avoid them altogether now.

And also condoms suck. When H and I got exclusive, we agreed to each go get a "doctor's note" before we did it the first time and we've never used a condom once.

Wow...right now we at about 1-2x a week maybe more depending on the week and how crazy our work week has been! But when we first started dated we were in the daily. Maybe it will change after the wedding and we are joy so crazy!!

Hahah condoms Do suck. When DH and I decided to start trying for a baby, I went off my birth control and the plan was to use condoms for a month or two and then try. Well... We used them ONE time, and it was so awful because neither of us were used to it and it decreased his sensitivity so he wasn't getting in to it and we ended up giving up, and of course I got all upset like "Is this what sex is going to be like for the next few months? this sucks!!" So.... we took a walk on the beach that night, talked, and decided to forget the condoms and see what happened. I didn't think I'd get pregnant right away... But apparently I am a LOT more fertile than I expected because exactly one month later we had a positive test, hahah.

Ok... I'm back...

My friend has 3 kids, an ex, and a mom that lives near by. So when she gets time away from the kids she can have some real fun. She was once really sick with a cold, and her master told her the kids are old enough to take care of each other (which they are) and that she was suppose to rest in bed all day and take care of herself. And if she didn't, he was going to come over with handcuffs and 'make' her stay in bed.

Once she was tied up and having so much fun that she didn't notice her hands were turning blue. He was paying attention and took her down (ex of the trust part). Just some of what she tells me.
