Just went in for my annual today and for the first time REALLY chatted with the doctor about sex b/c we're going to TTC soon. Some of her comments made me wonder how often most people REALLY do it?

    Oh man, Forum Foul again and I wet my pants laughing. lolol

    1-2 X a week. It is very difficult to be intimate when you have a teenager running around your townhouse. So, we are stuck with waiting until she goes out and then we are like two teenagers babysitting.

    Actually, if I recall correctly from my infertility treatment days, the doctor discouraged daily sex as a means to conceive. Apparently, it lowers the sperm count.

    Fawn, I am officially envious.

    Carole, that's what brought up the convo. H was convinced it would be his license to do it like 7 times a day. When I told him that the doc told me every other day (day 10, 12, 14, 16) he made a face like I'd just kicked a puppy.

    I'm in the not enough category. Fh husband works nights and I leave right after he gets home in the morning. We only have 3 days a week to work it into our schedule and more often than not life gets in the way.

    So, more to the point instead of more whining lol, I would say 3-4x/month Smiley sad

    no wonder I'm so cranky....

    We are TTC, so the week of high fertility, every other day. The rest of the time, whenever...which is usually 1-3x weekly. With working full time and school full time, he better be thankful he gets it! :-)
