Anomolie Custom Wedding Dresses? Real reviews?

Cindy, on October 16, 2019 at 8:06 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
Hi!

Im considering using Anomolie to customie my dream wedding dress however I’m still quite unsure because I won’t be able to physically try on the dress until I’ve made the full commitment.

I’ve read many many positive reviews however I haven’t seen pictures of the original sketch compared to the the dress that came in. Or any reviews that felt....REAL.

any brides out there that have used the service? If so can you post your experience with the service and also photos of the sketch compared to the dress you received and tried on??

    Hey there, Cindy!

I can totally understand wanting to hear from brides who have had real experiences with a company.

I have some previous community discussions about Anomalie for you to check out, along with WeddingWire previous couple reviews -

What is the dress like that you would love them design for you?

I had a mediocre experience. I think I got unlucky with the designer they set me up with though. At first it was great. I had an initial call with a wonderful designer and she sent me a gorgeous initial design. It had lots of different laces and it was really hard to visualize since their mocks are only "rough." They don't show you the exact lace. Then they switched the designer on me. She asked me to pick out all the laces, which I could not see in person and didn't guide/handhold me through it at all. I am not a professional designer so I felt uncomfortable picking every lace not knowing their scale, how they look together, etc. They sent me a second mock to give me a rough idea and it was HORRIBLE. I backed out then and they gave me a full refund without any pushback, which I appreciated.

Try to find a seamstress in your area who you can work with through the process. It will also be cheaper in the long run with more design options.

Definitely do not get a custom dress without being able to try it on at any point during construction. Try on styles at a local bridal shop to see what is flattering on you first.
