Joe and I met through work. I knew him for years before we became a couple. He's older than I am so when he became single I thought to myself, "here is this wonderful man, and my mom is wonderful, I should put the two people together!" Well, nothing happened, they didn't click, no dates, nothing. I kept trying to fix them up to no avail. Finally Joe sat me down and explained the reasons why he and my mom would never work as couple. That's when it finally clicked for me... this man is my perfect match, regardless of age! I didn't say anything though because I felt like after all the match making I had tried to do, maybe I had ruined our chances. Eventually he asked me to come have dinner at his cabin. I did, we talked again, and the rest is history. We have been inseparable ever since.
