A Romantic Dream
Nathan and I feel so blessed and lucky we came across Vanessa and her team at XO and Fetti! Vanessa went above and beyond from the beginning of our wedding planning process to the end. We are very happy we booked her for both our engagement session and our wedding day. From the beginning, Vanessa was organized, professional, detail-oriented, and extremely responsive.
We are both amateurs and awkward when it comes to posing for photos! Vanessa guides you through each pose and the photos came out looking natural, romantic, and classy --- everything we wanted it to be! Vanessa asks you to fill out a short guide prior to the photo session so she gets all of the details perfectly. She also allows you to submit inspiration photos to your private client portal.
Our wedding was the typical Vietnamese wedding with over 250 guests and multiple days and events – tea ceremomy, church, location and multiple outfit changes, and very chaotic. Vanessa remained calm throughout the entire wedding and also made it fun for us. She hops on a detailed call with you prior to the wedding, makes the most meticulous wedding day timeline of photos. She captured every single photo we wanted with every single guest. The photos she captured were not just photos… she turned them into romantic art! Take a look for yourself!
Nathan and I are forever grateful for Vanessa and the beautiful photos from our wedding. Not only is she the BEST at what she does, she is also a very kind and compassionate person. She is an absolute treasure and artist!

Romantic, Classic, Timeless, Gorgeous Photography!
My husband and I are the biggest fans of Vanessa!! She is actually the one vendor we contacted without waiting to get our planner’s recommendations because we fell in love in love with her photos (and of course, our vendor recommended her without even knowing we had already called her haha). And since both my husband and I are hobby photographers with our first hangouts being photoshoots, photography was a top priority. From the intro phone call, we knew she was our photographer. She made us feel so comfortable and she has such wonderful energy! But even so, we couldn’t imagine how beautiful our photos would come out. There’s one photo I really wanted but our wedding was on a harsh sunny day (100F) so capturing that photo was not on my mind, if anything, I worried about the harsh lighting for every photo. But yet she captured that magical moment and more!! Every family member told us how surprised they were, the photos came out so much better than they could have imagined too - Vanessa’s work is priceless. Our wedding is one special day and now we have it memorialized through her beautiful talented photography. Hire! Her! Now! -

Easily My Favorite Vendor!
If you are still looking for a wedding photographer look no further! Vanessa is the wedding photographer you should go with for a romantic, timeless, elegant, emotional, and creative touch! I normally never write reviews for anyone, but Vanessa and her team definitely deserve one. The first time Vanessa and I spoke on the phone, I liked her immediately. She was so friendly, and I could feel how genuine and passionate she was about her work. I remember asking so many questions, and without hesitation Vanessa sent everything I asked for. She answered all my questions with so much kindness too and never made me feel bad about being so meticulous. Vanessa is such a good person, and you can tell she has the biggest heart.
For our engagement shoot, I remember seeing Vanessa come 30 minutes before our session to scout the beach for good photo spots. She is such a hard worker and takes her client’s time seriously. When we received our engagement pictures, we were shocked at how beautiful they turned out! That gave me the confidence that our wedding day pictures would be amazing too.
Throughout the process, Vanessa was very responsive. She was organized and easy to communicate with. On the wedding day, I was very nervous but when Vanessa arrived, I felt immediately at ease and comfortable. I felt like I was seeing a best friend!
We got married a few months ago and every time we look at our wedding photos we are completely blown away by how stunning they are! My husband has it playing as a screensaver on our TV and it always brings us so much joy when we see the pictures pop up. We have also received so many compliments from friends and family on how amazing and beautiful the photos were. I felt so lucky that we picked Vanessa as our wedding photographer. She was easily my favorite vendor. I would love Vanessa to capture all our future huge milestones! -

Vanessa and her team are truly remarkable. My husband and I are typically camera-shy and don't like being the center of attention - but Vanessa and her team made us feel so comfortable and natural during our photoshoots. They absolutely exceeded all expectations - we even had comments from our wedding guests about how incredibly genuine and hard working the photographers were.
The photos also speak for themselves - they caught moments where we didn't even realize they were present for; they blended in perfectly to capture those special candid moments that we'll forever treasure.
Vanessa's team was also fantastic with our younger guests - being patient and supportive and broke through their shyness to get great smiles and laughs from them.
XO and Fetti will now become our go-to recommendation to all of our friends and family who are looking for a photographer - without any hesitation.
I wish we could adequately express how grateful we are to Vanessa and her team - I didn't know it was possible to look through a photo album and love *every single picture* - but somehow they did it. Unbelievable! -

Vanessa is a true passionate professional in photography. I seriously stumbled upon her in a wedding group forum and got so lucky! Thank you wedding gods!
You can tell when someone is truly wants the best for you when they work with you when you talk to them, and after the first e-mail-- I was like okay I need to book her. I appreciate her quickness to respond, her natural way of making you feel comfortable, her organization, her experience, and just her!
She never once made me feel like I was too much which is super important for a future bride. I remember not being able to decide which outfits to wear and she was very honest but not overstepping in her opinions. I sent her several options through text lol. She could intuitively tell I was feeling weird about asking her too many questions and she was like "I am here to help you so keep asking for whatever you need," without me saying anything. We set up an engagement shoot in LA because our wedding photographer was in San Diego and was charging so much money for travel costs. I was so hesitant to book someone different for engagement shots but I am glad I found her as I will want to work for her for other life events :)
I liked how she created a tentative itinerary after I signed the contract and sent it to me via email so I could know which areas we would be first and when I could do an outfit change. This organization made me feel at ease because obviously she is prepared.
The best part is that she helped navigate poses during our engagement shoot. We both have never taken professional photos before and she made what was uncomfortable, turn out so good. She definitely has an eye for romance. We were pressed for time for our save the dates so she sent a few very quickly which I am thankful for. We just got our engagement album back and it has made me so excited to get married now! I don't think it has hit me as my work schedule has been insane but I am starting to finally feel bridal. She is very open to requests which is another plus as sometimes photographers can get very snarky at requests (which doesn't make sense to me.... but a close friend had a bad experience with her photographer so just wanted to note that). Thank you Vanessa for everything! Don't hesitate on her photography company!

Best Experience Ever
If you’re looking for a photographer, Vanessa is IT!. She is kind, professional, so sweet and makes you feel incredibly comfortable. It was a total dream to work with her and I will forever cherish the engagement photos she’s taken. Literally cannot say enough wonderful things about her—and she hasn’t even photographed our wedding yet! Her photos are honestly going to be one of the highlights of my wedding…I already know! 😜♥️ -

Best Decision We've Made Was Hiring XO and Fetti!
Vanessa is not only an amazing wedding photographer; my husband and I both wholeheartedly agree she is one of the best people we now know in this world. She’s genuine, sincere, thoughtful, so so so kind and patient, and passionate about her work and clients.
Some weddings vendors take several days or never even respond back to you. But with Vanessa, communications was never an issue. She always responded in a timely manner and made sure to let people know if she couldn’t respond that day because she was going to be out of the office or was shooting a wedding.
She also took our engagement photos. Prior to the session, we didn’t know what outfits combos would work with our locations and she sent over mood boards to help us! When we were discussing engagement photo options, my husband was possibly interested in having a photo frame on the beach with us in the background. She had remembered that and had gotten us a frame in case we wanted to take those photos! She was also great with our dog (fellow fur momma!).
She went over and beyond all our expectations. When I was overwhelmed trying to find the wedding theme and colors that fit us the best and what was special to us, she came to the rescue. She made time, even though it was on such short notice and she was busy with other projects, to think up our wedding theme and create a wedding board and even scheduled calls to help talk it over with me. She really took the time to get to know us that there were no more doubts on what our wedding would be like and finally felt like us after she helped us. I definitely looked up to her for all wedding advice and valued her opinions so much.
Getting ready on the wedding day, I was sick and definitely not feeling great (wasn’t COVID), the steamer we had ended up creating stains on some of the bridesmaids’ dresses and my wedding gown, food wasn’t delivered, and more. I finally felt relief when Vanessa and Claudia (assistant photographer for our wedding) showed up and I saw Vanessa’s smile and her giving morale support throughout the day. And honestly, spending the whole day with her was such a breeze and so much fun.
And of course, the quality of the photos are absolutely impeccable. We can’t wait to work with Vanessa again and we’d love to have our home completely filled with photos taken by her. -

Where do I begin to talk about how awesome Vanessa and her team are at XO and Fetti?! First off, can we start with the name! Vanessa was genius to come up with such a fun and catchy name for her business and that certainly attracted me (in conjunction with her romantic and artsy work!) to follow her on Instagram in 2020! Right as I started to wedding plan, Vanessa was so generous in having a giveaway, so I tagged so many of my friends and my fiance to try to win such a wonderful opportunity! A few weeks later, I won! Oh how happy I was to be able to win something like a photoshoot because my husband and I are camera shy and do not know how to pose lol. It was so meant to be with Vanessa, she has the kindest and most genuine personality and is such a natural behind the camera!! My fiance and I were so nervous meeting her for our engagement shoot, but she made us so comfortable and was very helpful with directions to capture such romantic photos! We coud not recognize ourselves for a second! We loved connecting with Vanessa through our love for Disney and travel, we knew we not only a photographer but friend for life!
Vanessa and Claudia captured our wedding and again helped with our wedding jitters and nerves! They both blew us out of the water with their eyes for capturing the perfect pictures throughout the day. My husband and I were nervous, because we are highly critical of ourselves in pictures and I have to say we LOVED every picture. They both made us feel amazing and very comfortable throughout the whole event! We are still on a wedding high when we reminisce through the pictures of our February wedding! TRUST ME when I say you will not go wrong with booking Vanessa and her team to capture any special moments in your life! She will make you glow and see yourself in ways you did not picture yourself before ;)

I cannot say enough great things about Vanessa! Not only was she so kind, professional, and fun to work with, but the photos from our wedding are everything I have ever dreamed of. Best photo team ever
Vanessa & her team (Claudia and V) were absolutely AMAZING to work with during our planning process and on the wedding day. Our wedding had many moving parts and multiple reschedules due to the pandemic. With all the changes, Vanessa was so accommodating and understanding!
I love the natural and "dreamy" feel she captures with her photos and our Engagement/Wedding day photos did not disappoint!
We had alot of must haves and lots of family and friends we wanted to capture to share with our loved ones that couldn't join us. One of my biggest concerns leading up to the day was to ensure we had memories with our VIP Family members.
Within a month leading up to our big day, Vanessa organized a few zoom calls to go over our schedule in FULL Detail! she had our full day planned out minute by minute and even had the names of all our bridal party and family members blocked out to ensure we'd have pictures with everyone. So impressed with this!
On our wedding day, Vanessa was truly the captain of our day. Leading us along the schedule and made sure she captured everything! Her team (Claudia and V), were absolutely spectacular and helped put our nerves at ease! They were consistently checking in on us and adjusting our hair, outfits and literally everything to make sure we looked picture perfect! They even cracked some jokes to make us laugh! As the Bride and Groom, the day can be so much to soak in, it can be a blur, but Vanessa and the team made sure we were all set!
We received sneak peaks the NEXT Day and they are AMAZING!

Book Vanessa and her team!
Everything from start to finish, my time with Vanessa was easy and seamless. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and all the details that went into the planning.
I hardly knew Vanessa and her assistant were at the wedding taking our photos, that’s how good she is.
On our honeymoon we received our wedding gallery was such a sweet surprise and the perfect occasion. I highly recommend booking Vanessa for any special event photos. -

Best part of the wedding!
Besides marrying my best friend, Vanessa was one of the best parts of my wedding. She went above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for with a photographer. Not only is she a complete professional, she's an A-R-T-I-S-T. Her artistic vision, attention to detail, and ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera is incomparable. Vanessa gets to know you as a couple, really personalizes the process, guides you through with what you can expect from her and her team, makes sure that she understands your vision for your big day, and gets you excited about one of the most magical moments of your life.
The worst part of wedding planning is that you're essentially in charge of planning a small circus when you've never done it before. There are so many moving parts! Choosing Vanessa as our photographer made the wedding process a dream. She is so lovely, completely organized, and very visually focused. She even helped us with the aesthetic of our engagement photos with a vision board. She could grasp what aesthetic we wanted before we even had a cohesive design together. So, so amazing.
We used Vanessa for our engagement photos, wedding day, and plan to use her for every family milestone in the future. You couldn’t find a more lovely person and amazing photographer. Can’t recommend her enough!!!

Vanessa and Claudia were incredible during our entire wedding process, from the planning beforehand and making sure that they were prepared to capture all of our most wanted moments and details, and being accommodating to make sure we could have everything we wanted within our budget! On the actual day they were super flexible to allow the flow of the day that evolved. What we did not expect was that they were able to give us fantastic previews basically 1-2 days after our big day! In 6-8 weeks Vanessa sent us around 1000 fairytale-like pictures capturing every detail of our day. It was so wonderful getting to work with them, especially with my husband being someone who doesn't typically like taking photos, they made every moment natural and loving for us, and all our family friends have marveled at the exquisite pictures that we now have! A big win is my husband loves our pictures too! Thank you Vanessa!
