  Mike is a great photographer. He really enjoys getting to now his bride and groom. Was able to get a ton of great shots to choose from. If you stay on top of things he will make sure you receive your photos in a timely manner.

Mike was extremely responsive to calls and emails, contacting as soon as possible. He gives honest feedback to questions and suggestions. Mike understands the importance of capturing your "special day", treats you as family, and is dedicated to his work. The finished products that he produces are gorgeous. He works closely with you to choose photos, select page designs, and choose covers and spines for a personalized and elegant wedding book. Mike Whealan was an outstanding wedding photographer. If considering Mike as a vendor, you will not be disappointed with his overall services!

  Mike was amazing! He is truly a one of a kind photography. I have been a part of many weddings and Mike blows other photographers out of the water! He is very informative as well as creative! He helps you create the best poses for the pictures and his help starts as earlier as the Engagement photos. I would recommend Mike to EVERYONE!

  We are so happy with how everything turned out using Mike! The pictures that were taken are remarkable and so many of them are creative and unique. Mike and his assistant were wonderful to work with the day of the wedding and we hardly even noticed that they were there. And let me tell you, the final product is outstanding! Our book is gorgeous and the quality is the best I've ever seen of a wedding album. Probably because it is handmade in Italy!!   Mike Whealan and his associate provided an outstanding service on my wedding day. Not only were he and his associate extremely professional, they were punctual and utilized the available time to take a large quantity of photographs that were unique and of great variety in more than one location. Mike and his associate are two individuals who are truly doing something that they love, and not just working for a photography company that has sent them out to complete a job for the day. This is his company and his passion and Mike Whealan is involved from start to finish. The wedding day photography process starts with an intimate meeting with Mike, the day is scheduled with Mike, and the photographs are discussed in great detail in the early months of wedding planning with Mike. He communicated with me throughout my entire engagement to ensure that all the important elements of what I wanted were discussed and determined. He and his associate had outgoing personalities and it was abundantly clear that they enjoy and have a great passion for photography. I felt that this ambition was most especially present on my wedding day, as it was clear that they found the feeling and emotion that was presented in each moment, and the photographs were taken to hold onto and have those moments and images forever. My husband and I wanted photography that would be "outside of the box" with less of the same old photos that you always see and we wanted to work with someone who seized every moment as it presented itself as well as noticing opportunities for photos that another may not capture. With Mike Whealan photography we were able to have exactly what we were hoping for and so much more. Our day was an event to be remembered, and our photogaphers made sure that we had the photographs to represent all of those memories for the rest of our lives.

  Mike was a wonderful photographer! He was very flexible and willing to work with us 100% of the way. He was very gracious to family and friends and we had many many compliments at the wedding. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we could not have asked for better service.

  Mike is an amazing photographer who always made us feel comfortable! We had to re-schedule our engagement pictures multiple times because of the weather and he was more than accommodating to us! We love the way our wedding pictures turned out! Thank you again!

Initially, Cedric and I were not too excited to do an engagement session. But looking back, we both agreed it was a blast shooting with Mike. Being able to be ourselves and capture beautiful moments between my husband and I in a very casual setting was really important and was exactly what we wanted. His style is more photo-journalistic, and it's his specialty to take photos that capture the natural movement and beauty of the moment. It's really nice because your pictures don't come out all posey-posey all the time. I would say great value for beautiful results and a great eye for design!

  Mike Whealan was a joy to work with during our wedding planning process! He was so sweet and really provided us with 5 star service! The final product was incredible! When people looked at our pictures they often said, "These are pictures that could be in a magazine!" The moments that Mike caught were amazing and he really has an artistry about him that I don't think many photgraphers possess. When we think back to our wedding, choosing Mike was our BEST decision. There are no words to describe what Mike has given us, his photography is truly priceless! He also did our engagement pictures, which were amazing as well. He is also extremely fun to work with as well and would be a joy for any bride and groom to work with! We can't wait to use Mike again in the future!! :)
