  I found Micah and Megan after searching a for photography team that was not corny, cheesy, or staged. I was looking for someone to capture real moments in a truly talented and artistic way. It seemed to me that so many other photographers had a list of awkward, cheesy poses that they used for every single couple. Or, they used the current 'popular' style of photography that uses light/glares in a certain way that makes all the photos look washed out and blurry.
  
  I chose Micah and Megan because I wanted timeless, crisp, clear images that would show all of the true, raw emotion of my wedding day. They went above and beyond. I am in LOVE with every single one of my photos, and there are SO many. Forget the videographer. You don't need one with all of the images Micah & Megan will provide. The photos tell the story on its own. I could not be happier with my photos!
  
  Micah & Megan were amazing to work with on my wedding day. The second I met them, I knew I was going to love working with them. They were so calm and made me feel comfortable right away. The entire night of my wedding, my guests kept telling me how much they LOVED my photographers (before they even saw the photos)!! Now that I have received my photos, I am getting SO many compliments on them. They are all stunning!
  
  I was a bride on a budget. I allocated more money to photography than to any other vendor, and it was SO worth it. The photos will last a lifetime, and I smile every time I look at them!
  
  Again, I cannot recommend Micah & Megan enough. If you are considering them at all, just book them. You will not regret it.

  My husband works in television as a director of photography, so when it came to finding a photographer for our wedding, he was VERY picky. Our wedding coordinator sent us a long list of recommended photographers, but Micah & Megan's work caught his eye right away. Once we met them in person, we knew we didn't have to meet with any other photographers - they were going to shoot our wedding. They are AMAZING photographers - everything they shoot seriously looks like art, or a spread from a wedding magazine. Their style is very photojournalistic, which is exactly what we wanted. But more importantly, they are really just two of the nicest, coolest people you could have taking pictures of your wedding. I'm very uncomfortable in front of a camera, but they put us so at ease, and you can definitely see that level of comfort in the photographs. I am so thrilled with how amazing our wedding photos are. When we look back 5,10, 25 years on them, I know we'll still be glad that we chose Micah & Megan to photograph our special day.

  We contacted Micah & Megan to photograph our religious wedding ceremony and a larger secular ceremony we are having in a couple of months. We just received our pictures from the religious ceremony and were blown away! Micah's attention to detail and artistic eye are just impeccable. He also put as at ease before, during and after the event. Since we are in Dallas, we met via Skype beforehand - and Micah was always available via email and was incredibly responsive to our (many) questions before the wedding. On the big day, he was so helpful - half the time, we would forget he was there because he was so good at blending in to the background and letting the day unfold naturally (all while capturing it). Almost every family member at our ceremony commented on how great he was - very personable and we felt like we'd known him for a long time. We received our pictures very promptly afterwards and were so impressed - such beautiful images! As someone who rarely likes how I look in pictures, I was so happy that I loved every wedding shot Micah took. I would highly recommend them! We can't wait to see what they capture for us at our next ceremony!

  Words do not suffice to describe how fabulous Micah and Megan are. In fact, words shouldn't suffice - their work speaks for itself. Micah and Megan were the photographers at my brother's wedding in October 2012 (also with beautiful results) and from meeting them at that point, I knew I needed them for my own wedding! My husband and I just got married on 6/20/2014, and we had Micah and Megan along for our engagement and wedding planning process, from an engagement shoot to their "ModBooth" photo booth to our wedding portraits.
  
  From the moment my then-fiance and I met up with Micah and Megan, we knew there couldn't be a better choice. Micah and Megan have a unique warmth and an uncanny ability that made us feel welcome and comfortable - with is important both in a friend and in someone who will be taking the most important pictures of your life! Micah and Megan possess just the presence one needs on a wedding day - they are no-fuss, completely out of the way, and simply exude genuine excitement for you. There was no added stress of "pose just this way, do this, do that" to get the right photo - Micah and Megan don't really pose - they just let you BE and capture the complete and beautiful candidness in that.
  
  Every one of our bridal party members also commented on how wonderful Micah and Megan are. They remarked on how fun they were to work with, and we got the "we just want to be friends with them!" comment from more than one wedding attendee who saw them in action!
  
  My husband and I don't even have our wedding photos back yet as I write this review, but I know I can gush about the wonderful product we will receive. My brother's wedding photos were exquisite, our engagement photos were wonderful, and I know our wedding photos will allow us to joyfully relive our special day for years to come. I cannot recommend this amazing duo highly enough!!

  BEST photo experience I could have asked for! Micah and Megan are absolutely amazing, you will love everything about them. Not only do they take gorgeous, top-quality photos, but we chose them because their creative, posed shots AND their in-the-moment shots were both top-notch. No other photographer we found could do both styles so well. We didn't think we'd be able to afford photographers that good, but were so pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their prices are compared to other photographers at their level.
  
  We met for coffee with them before the wedding to go over our ideas, timeline, etc. and were so pleased to see how friendly and energetic they are as well! They were very accommodating and so much fun. It felt like we were getting coffee with long-time friends. And because they are a married couple working as a team, they really understand what moments are important to capture in a wedding, and what poses are fun and beautiful.
  
  Not only do the two work so well together and respect each other as partners, but they were also incredibly cooperative with our videographer and other vendors, so respectful of their space, so courteous. Always making sure that our videographer got the shots he needed, too. Whenever things got stressful on the wedding day (this included cars breaking down, etc.) they were so full of energy and so positive that they had everyone calm and smiling within minutes. When everyone was dancing during the reception, they were right in the middle of the dance floor taking shots, without being in anyone's way or making anything look forced. They knew exactly what to say to prepare me for our first look photos, and how to keep the atmosphere happy and light. They also knew how to keep everyone away and out of our more personal and special shots when our friends were trying to photobomb our bride and groom pictures. And the great thing about them being partners of equal talent was that they made sure that one of them was always by the groom and I--we didn't ever have to look for them when we wanted a picture.
  Book with them--they are the complete package!

  Ok, I have one simple question for you: Are Micah&Megan available for your wedding date? If you are lucky enough that they are, then Voila! Your search for a photographer is over. Book. Them. Now. Ok, now that you have made the best investment in your wedding I can prepare you. This is no ordinary business transaction. I actually have been putting off this review for some time now just because I have so much to say. Micah and Megan will give you wedding photos that will move you, that will take you back to all the emotions of the day, that will make you smile and make you cry. I can honestly say I have watched video clips of my wedding, and they were not able to capture the same emotion as a chronological slide show of my photos. There is true artistry here. I can really go on and on about how stunning the photographs were, but you can see that on their website. What the website will not tell you is about Micah and Megan as people. I can’t imagine someone meeting them and wanting anyone else to capture their big day. They are beautiful couple, and they love to see and capture the love in others. Keep this in mind: your photographers are following you the whole day. Even though Micah and Megan do this for a living, you know they love what they do because on the day it feels like they are family. While taking their amazing photos, they are not just going through the motions, they are going through the emotions. They truly share in your excitement. With that said, they do a great job of being unobtrusive. They aren’t distracting or draw any unwanted attention. They strike the perfect balance of being hidden, but not being disconnected from your day. I also want to note that they were great to work with in all the hectic preparations for the wedding. I was living in NY while planning my CA wedding, and they were so helpful and responsive to phone calls/skype meetings to make sure every detail was ironed out. Plus, they are just fun to talk to.
  I don’t think I’ll be showing any video clips of my wedding 20 years from now, but I will still be in awe of these photos.

  Micah & Megan are such wonderful photographers and people. We had a small budget for our wedding but saw the value in what they provided so we spent almost $1k more to have them shoot our wedding. It was the best money ever spent and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My wife and I love all of our photos and we remain friends with Micah & Megan to this day. You won't regret spending whatever they are asking for.

  Micah&Megan are unbelievably cool. It takes me a while to wrap my head around the fact that we were able to meet this wonderful couple who are extremely talented, professional, and fun. They have so much creativity and passion for what they do that it's inspiring to see them work and put their hearts into every photo they take. They also have a great balance of strong artistic vision and style, while having the ability to incorporate a couple's ideas, and silly suggestions.
  
  In our engagement sessions, as well as before and during the wedding, they were able to capture beautiful moments, precious hugs, group laughter, heart-warming gestures, silly emotions, the swagger in surprise dance numbers and more! Our personalities as individuals, and our dynamic as a couple were all reflected in our photos, including our interactions with families and friends on this memorable day. All of this was done gracefully, within the hustle and bustle of the event, and with their own easy-going personalities, combined with sheer expertise, our families and friends (along with us) end up loving them too.
  
  During post-wedding recaps, our families ask us about Micah&Megan as if we live next to each other. They are THAT awesome! "So how are they doing?"… "Mom/Dad/Auntie/2nd-cousin-twice-removed, you can follow their blog… it's at micahandmegan.com"
  
  In all seriousness, when I look back at our wedding, I remember them not only as "vendors" -- they are a happy couple who are a part of this special occasion, and who happens to take fantastic photos! We couldn't ask for more. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone I meet.

  Micah & Megan are a true gem of a couple. Their love for each other is expressed in their love of photography and their desire to share that with everyone. We had the two of them around all day long! The number one reason we went with Micah & Megan was for their "artistic" style of photographer. We didn't want boring wedding photos and they delivered!
