  Marlon was a lifesaver...and I mean that quite literally. Let me explain. My wife and I were planning a destination wedding in Key West from our home in NYC. We had hired JHunter Photography and upon arriving in Key West a few days before, he was still our photographer. The day before the wedding Mr. Hunter was rushed to the emergency room for surgery and emailed us he would be unable to attend our wedding due to these catastrophic events. Here is the point where I thought my wife was going to kill someone (most likely me, since I was within striking distance). Mr. Hunter also mentioned in the email, that his wife/business partner was able to secure another photographer for our event, and in steps our protagonist, Marlon.
  
  Marlon was amazing! He was a professional, he was kind, and he has a way of making you feel so comfortable, despite that it's August in Key West and truthfully no one is. He was very flexible, listening to everyone one of our ideas and capturing it, not to mention improving it with his professional experience and knowledge. The poses and backdrops he suggested are stunning and our wedding pictures could not have come out better. Additionally, he did an amazing job of photographing the reception itself, which sometimes gets forgotten in the grand scheme of things.
  
  Truthfully, I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, and maybe it was somehow destined for Marlon to be with us that day, and I certainly am so glad he was. His pictures were truly phenomenal and will forever be with us and help us reminisce on our special day!

  Marlon came to me through a recommendation from my west coast photographer friend. She did an internet search for a photographer who shoots film in the Miami area and she really appreciated his work/has a great eye. I met Marlon quite casually and discussed what it is we were looking for. He was very laid back and doesnt sell himself (like the other photogs in the area). However- after dealing with so many vendors I found his sense of cool and calm to be exactly that and knew I would be happy with this vibe during my (potentially hectic) wedding day. I relied on my friend's ability to sense his talent through his work on the website.
  We did a test/engagement shoot to get accustomed to being photographed and I HIGHLY recommend this. It gives you a chance to see how you photograph as a couple/quirks etc) and get to know the photographer a bit. The photos speak for themselves...he is amazingly talented. He is methodical and thoughtful. It was a freezing Miami day and I was a little impatient with the pace being a NYC transplant but film is not like digital where you can get 1000 pictures and delete to find the 3 good ones. He waits for the moment and captures it. Rather than a 20% keep rate, he took relatively fewer photos but quality over quantity should be the rule, not the exception. That being said- I am VERY pleased with the quantity as well.
  Wedding day: he was professional, brought back up cameras and I barely saw him during the actual event (the wedding was a night). He is a stealthy photographer- capturing the moments without being imposing and the photos again are just amazing. (You have to see for yourself.- go to his site)
  Marlon is timely, taleted, amenable to any of your ideas, captures beauty in a unexpected way. His eye and talent are undeniable. His passion is evident in his work- however- he needs a PR agent to extol his virtues because he is far too humble.
  I feel VERY fortunate to have found this amazing photographer and hope to keep him around to capture all my life's major events. He deserves great success and I hope this is one review that leads many other lucky brides his way. Don't hesitate to use Marlon.
  
  Forgot to mention- he said he would have the photographs turned around at a certain time and CAME THROUGH! Other friends have had big problems with their photogs. Marlon is a true gem! Professionalism at its best.

  My wife and I are very proud and extremely happy to say that Marlon Richardson perfectly captured the priceless moments of our engagement and wedding. We couldn't ask for anything more. When we first started looking for a wedding photographer for our special day- Marlon came highly recommended. We were more than pleased to find out why, first-hand!

  Marlon did an excellent job on our Engagement Photos. The photography was extremely professional without being uncomfortable. My wife and I were very natural and comfortable with him. We get compliments on the style of our photos all the time. Five Stars!!

  I have worked with Marlon for many years now on many different occasions. He has a great sense of professionalism during the photo session and I am always eager to view the final product. Most photographers take offense to suggestions made by the customer, however Marlon will ALWAYS ask for your feedback and is willing to ensure that the final product is to your liking. He is also very versatile with his style and is always looking to use the latest and greatest technology to ensure a perfect photo session. I highly recommend Marlon for any event you have and looking forward to working with him again in the future.

His pictures are beautiful, you can see that on his website. What you don't see, are the various other dimensions of service he provides.
