Working with Loy on our wedding day was a pleasure and a breeze! We hired him because we were drawn to his unique, mostly unposed, documentary-style photography. We were even more impressed by his communication ahead of our event; Loy was thorough, patient, and flexible in discussing our wedding plans and vision.

On the actual wedding day, Loy was really wonderful to have around. He is attentive and professional but with a laid-back and chummy attitude that puts everyone at ease and makes them feel comfortable and natural around him. Loy made it easy to genuinely be ourselves and enjoy our special day. Loy was super adaptable when plans shifted, and had a great sense of when to make a recommendation for a photo versus when to just “let things happen” naturally. His easygoing, friendly demeanor put us, our families, and our guests at ease as he captured our special moments and interactions. While he blended in seamlessly during our wedding festivities, I noticed that he was always in the perfect spot and always willing to humor a photo request from anyone who asked him.

Overall, we were really impressed with Loy, and would highly recommend him for couples looking to really feel like themselves on their wedding day! We absolutely can’t wait to get our photos back, as we know they will be AWESOME :)
