Heather is an absolute dream to work with! All my pictures have been absolutely stunning. She is the kindest lady & truly cares about her brides. She was so calm throughout the whole wedding and she truly is just the easiest going photographer ever & this was something that helped me stay calm on my big day. I can not recommend her enough. You 100% have to hire her! -

Heather Purvis Photography Amazing
Heather was amazing!
We used her for our engagement session and for our wedding. Our engagement pictures were better than we could've ever imagined. We couldn't wait for our wedding day and to get those photos back.
Heather is very easy going and attentive. She was always well equipped and prepared. We had an evening/night wedding and she provided all of the necessary lighting to make our pictures pop. She did great managing my wedding party and family in order to get all of our shots in. She has a lot of great ideas for poses and shots and does very well directing.
She really takes into consideration any special request that you, the couple, wants and makes it happen.
We absolutely love all of our final shots. -

I stumbled upon Heather as she was the preferred photographer for our wedding venue, The Pattison House. While I had never heard of Heather before meeting with her, hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The minute I met Heather we clicked and I knew she would do the best job at capturing our day.
From our engagement session, to the freezing cold bridals, and finally our wedding - Heather captured all of our precious memories with skill and ease. We had our dogs at the engagement session and wedding and she didn't miss a beat when they would act crazy and playful during the sessions.
I also had some fairly specific ideas of images that I wanted captured and Heather captured them perfectly. To say I love our photos would be a massive understatement. My biggest problem is deciding which ones to print and frame.
If you're looking for a photographer to capture your engagement photos and wedding, do not hesitate in booking Heather. She will quickly become your friend and I promise you will not regret the decision to hire her! -

Heather was quick to respond when we first asked about her availability. We had a bunch of questions but she answered all of them and we were eager to book her for engagement photos. She is quick to point out spots that she thinks would make a great shot, takes the photo and moves on. When we got the photos back, both my fiancée and I loved them. Heather is obviously a professional and we highly recommend her to capture your special moment! -

We got married back in January and Heather did all of our photos (engagement, bridal, and wedding). Let me just tell you, Heather was so much more to us than a photographer. She made me feel so beautiful, calmed my nerves, and just gave the best advice. The photos speak for themselves ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Trust me on this book Heather ASAP -

Heather is AMAZING!!!!! I seriously could not have asked for a better photographer. Right off the bat at our consultation we clicked instantly, she has such a great personality and i really felt like I could be truly honest with her in exactly what i was looking for. I was so confident in my decision with picking her for my wedding. She took my bridal portraits and they were just perfect, she got TONS of photos. I appreciate that so much. She didnt rush, was very calm, made it fun and had great ideas. I had so many to choose from for my canvas for the wedding.
The wedding finally came and she & her assistant were ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. They got pictures of every moment & every detail. She sent me about 6 previews 3 days later then the final pictures took about 3 months to get to me, i expected that & you cant rush perfection. :) When you get your photos back you will see why it takes so long.. She truly edits & filters EVERY photo and makes them 10 times more beautiful... There was not really one photo i didnt truly like (unless it was just cause i was blinking or something lol). There was around 2000 photos... and i loved all them! The best part, i get to download and keep all of them!!!
I do wish there was a bit more photos of some of the other important people there, but i blame myself for that as i meant to mention i wanted certain photos with a few people, but the craziness that day got to me and i forgot!
But I just cant thank Heather enough for capturing this day so beautifully. I cant wait for my next shoot with her! -

Heather is more than just a photographer. She is part of your wedding day support team. She was recommended by Angela Keith of AKStyles. I could not be more pleased with the recommendation! Heather was very responsive before, during and after. She provided a sneak peek within a few days of the event. She and her second photographer, worked from the time they arrived until the time they left. They addressed any issues, made photo suggestions, worked with our coordinators and vendors to ensure that all props; bouquets, rings, etc were available. She was absolutely amazing. She captured every precious moment of our only daughter's wedding. I can't wait to see all of the photos! She was absolutely worth every penny!! -

Heather Purvis....AMAZING
W.O.W.......Heather is amazing. She went above and beyond to capture every detail of our wedding, engagements, and my bridals. She arrived at the venue early in the morning and stayed until we drove away that night. Her pictures are stunningly beautiful. She makes everything so easy and makes you feel beautiful and comfortable throughout the entire process. We felt like we had known her for years. We could not have ask for a better photographer. She is by far one of the best. We 100% recommend Heather for any of your photography needs!!!! -

Heather has been amazing to work with throughout this past 1.5 years. She did our engagement photos, bridals, and wedding photos. Heather was extremely professional, and really easy to get ahold of. She was also so sweet and enjoyable to be around, which is important, because she is with you capturing some of the most special and memorable moments of your life. Also I have to say, the photos we received have all been so beautiful. The quality of her work is outstanding. We knew we didn’t have to stress about the photographs, because we trusted and knew that Heather was going to to make sure we got all the photos we needed, and do amazing job. She is really talented and her work speaks for itself. I would recommend her to anyone I know!
P.S., another favorite thing about Heather is that she will take the lead and helped us with poses through out the process. I am not photogenic and I am super awkward and don’t know what to do with my hands (haha), but she was very sweet and helpful and made sure that our photos came out looking stunning and natural. She is seriously a pro! -

Heather did our engagement photos and we absolutely loved them. My favorite qualities about Heather were that she was timely, creative and very responsive to my email and texts. We had our engagement session at the Houston Zoo. The weather was cloudy and I wasn't confident that the pictures would come out well. However, Heather worked her magic and the photos were beautiful. In addition, Heather was beyond patient with me and my constant indecisiveness as a bride. She has a really beautiful spirit and a quality skillset for reasonable prices. I look forward to working with her on our wedding day. -

Not only did Heather shoot our wedding, but also our engagement photos and my bridal shoot. I could tell when we received our engagement photos within 2 days that she was something special. I was in complete awe of how easy she made the process, and how beautiful the photos looked! Our original wedding was scheduled in May 2020, and we had to postpone for several months due to COVID-19. Not only were we able to rebook her for a new date, we weren't charged any fees and she made the process so incredibly easy during a very rough time. I can't recommend Heather enough! She was amazing during our wedding day, extremely professional, yet very fun. We received our wedding gallery about 8 weeks later and we are in love with all of our photos! We can't wait to use her for every important family event later in life. Thank you Heather!! -

My fiance hired Heather to take photos of the proposal. It was a total surprise!! She was such a trooper waiting incognito in the cold to capture the moment. The photos were perfect, and she was able to send some of the photos to us the same night she took them. She was very sweet and friendly too. She captured candid moments, but also helped us with a couple of posed photos that came out so well! I'm usually really awkward about posing, but she knew exactly how to pose us to get a flattering, natural photo. Hire Heather!Heather Purvis Photography's reply:
