EID Gave us Everything we Wanted & More!!

My husband and I got married in the middle of the Pandemic, when NY was first starting to open but things were still uncertain. Elissa generously offered to photograph our wedding in a safe way. She and her team were so easy to work with and helped capture our photos seamlessly. Elissa was always aware of the time, making sure we would get the photos we wanted while also being able to enjoy our wedding. They took care of every detail, moving my hair, removing hair ties from my daughters wrists, getting to know our complicated family dynamic, and just having a wonderful, fun loving attitude throughout our day. I highly recommend you hire EID for any event you need photographed!

Absolutely Amazing!

We can not say enough good things about Elissa or her team. They are absolutely amazing! Right from the jump, we felt so beyond comfortable talking to Elissa. It was as if we had known her for years. We would never have thought a global pandemic would have happened in the middle of wedding planning, but Elissa was so amazing and flexible to work with. After three date changes, we had our micro wedding on 10/10/2020. Her team members Terry and Patty shot our wedding, and the pictures blew us away. They were also the sweetest women ever! We cannot wait to work with Elissa again in the future!

Elissa is simply the best!

Elissa was so professional, creative, and FUN! Our wedding planning began a year prior and Elissa kept us in the loop with all arrangements. We planned the entire day with her and went over optimal locations for shooting. I can't even tell you how creative she got with some of these photos! I'm still in awe. She kept our wedding party (a total of 16 people) entertained and got us in our best moments. If there was anyone I could recommend for your wedding, it would be EID Photography. As we show off and brag to our friends about our beautiful photos, everyone I know can't wait to work with her in the future. Out of all the vendors we had to coordinate for our wedding, Elissa was hands-down the best and easiest to work with. Dreamy Photos

From the moment we first met with Elissa, she made us feel comfortable. Elissa and Terri were our wedding photographers. Elissa also shot our engagement photos. She is fantastic at what she does! She is a talented photographer with a fun personality. She works fast and produces beautiful photos. There were so many incredible and special moments that Elissa and Terri captured throughout the day. She was everywhere behind the scenes clicking away, the candid shots were so fun. She was never intrusive or overbearing and she blended into the party. Elissa is a warm and friendly person but professional as well. Highly recommend EID Photography!

EID Photography did such a great job at our wedding! Elissa arrived to my house early and was there with her team through the entire wedding. She made everything so easy and quick..making sure I was on time for the ceremony. Elissa makes sure to get every moment and turn it into a memory.

Our experience with Elissa was phenomenal. She is always a phone call away and I never had to once worry about my photographer during my wedding.

Elissa is absolutely amazing! She made our wedding day incredible. Everyone was ranting and raving about how nice she was and about her placement for pictures! She got breathtaking pictures and still got us to our venue for cocktail hour. She listened to everything we asked and beyond. We are going to use Elissa going forward for EVERYTHING! From our engagement shoot to wedding to hopefully Christmas pictures and future children pictures. She is professional and her work is to die for!!

Amazing from start to finish

Elissa & her assistant were amazing ! They made everything so effortless. I had several young children in the wedding party who werent always so cooperative and they managed to get amazing photos with them as well. I also didnt have a videographer but with how the photos turned out I didnt even need one ! I can’t thank Elissa and her team enough !

The best time captured by beautiful photos

Elissa and Terry were a fantastic team for our wedding on 9/28/19. We initially went with EID Photography because of the beautiful pictures & that she was available all day (we felt restricted when some photographers had a 8-hour limit and charged more for extra hours) - but we soon learned that she was a sweet and enthusiastic person and knew our venue so incredibly well. We had the best time with her for both our engagement photos and the entire wedding day, and the pictures came out PERFECT! We got so many comments when we shared photos about how beautiful they were, and we honestly cannot choose which ones we are going to print large and make canvases because there are so many perfect ones. In addition, there are so many amazing dance-floor photos of our guests, which was really special for us as those are the moments you tend to miss at your own wedding! Elissa & Terry even captured our last dance song with all of our family and friends. Looking back at the pictures was truly a special and heartwarming experience and we will treasure the beautiful photos forever.

Elissa's team captured everything so perfectly

Elissa and Nicole shot my brother's wedding, and they were such a dream that I came calling when it was my turn. Nicole ran everything so efficiently and perfectly all day, was fun and professional throughout, and took the most amazing photos. We had 3 photographers on the day of (Nicole, Maureen, and John) and they took a million shots. Elissa is so friendly and warm and easy to work with throughout the whole planning process, edited BEAUTIFUL photos, and I consider her a friend after all this. Hire them - they're so worth it!!

Elissa and her team did an amazing job on the photos of our wedding! The photos are awesome! . Simply the best ❤️

There aren’t enough words to describe Elissa’s talent and passion for her work. We had already hired a photographer for our wedding, but after receiving our engagement photos I had serious doubts about our choice. I had seen some of Elissa’s photos online and began following her pages, while completely falling in love with her photos. We knew we had to make a change and by some miracle Elissa had our date available. We arranged for our engagement shoot- which she traveled over 2 hours to get to (and sat in A LOT of traffic (still getting there completely on time) all without one single complaint or negative energy after arriving). We spent many hours laughing, and it was the most comfortable I had ever felt being photographed. We had our proofs within days and I knew we had made the right decision. The day of our wedding Elissa showed up early, got straight to work and made sure everything ran smoothly. She got all the photos we asked for and offered her own ideas for some even more amazing shots. Elissa not only took amazing photos, but she jumped in to help during some mini emergencies keeping everyone calm and happy. Our second shooter Terry spent a lot of time with the groomsmen and they all raved about how fun and creative she was while shooting. Again, not just a photographer- Terry also jumped in to help in any other situation that came up all while still shooting along the way.
They were the dream team and we couldn’t have been luckier to have them capture the most special moments of our most special day. Elissa has become so much more than just our wedding photographer, she has become our forever friend and I am so excited to have her capture all our special moments as our family one day grows. ❤️

Best choice we could have made!

EID Photography was recommended to us by our DJ and we cannot thank him enough for pointing us in Elissa’s direction! EID doesn’t just take pictures, they create art with your photographs. EID knocked it out of the park!

EID Photography nailed it for our wedding. Both Elissa and Terri "got us" and captured the day perfectly, including some on the fly ideas with our bridal parties. Leave enough time between the ceremony and the reception if you can, so you can get all photos done before the party! That said, we never felt interrupted during the ceremony or reception. Final payment is due when they hand you your photos. No nightmare of waiting weeks or months for a finished product! Highly recommend EID!

From the very beginning when we met Elissa she made us feel so incredibly comfortable with the process that we both knew she was going to be our photographer. From the engagement shoot all the way to the wedding day she did not disappoint. Elissa and Nicole really did a great job capturing our wedding day from start to finish. Best wedding photographer of the Hudson valley! Elissa and her team are so dedicated to capture every detail of your day. She a true expert and professional and makes the most awkward (my husband lol) feel comfortable in the photo sessions. She works with you, plans the day to ensure all your photos are captured and goes above and beyond the entire day. Elissa photographed my indian wedding and I can’t thank her and her parter enough to work so closely with us and our family. She photographed us from getting ready early in the morning till the end of the night with a sparkler send off. She is so organized, on schedule yet adaptable. She has a great vision and eye for photography and is a true story teller.

Elissa is a wonderful photographer, and an overall wonderful person. She really helped to capture our wedding, and she made the whole process so easy and stress-free.

My husband and I had worked in the wedding industry at a catering hall prior to our own wedding, so we got to know and work with many photographers – Elissa was one of them. She was so nice and easy to work with, and whenever she came to photograph other couples, we saw the joy and passion she brought into capturing each moment of their big day. When we got engaged several years later, we knew we had to have her as our photographer.

Throughout the wedding planning process, Elissa made everything so easy. She was very organized with the wedding day timeline, and I never felt rushed. She had a great eye for finding spots in our venue to photograph us that we never would have thought of. She took numerous family & friend photos that we wanted, and she made sure we stayed on time and on track. The whole day, we didn't have to worry about a thing - she captured every wonderful moment. We are still in awe of how beautiful our pictures are, and we can't thank her enough for being a part of our wedding day!

Elissa was absolutely perfect. The pictures came out gorgeous, and she was beyond helpful with everything the day of. My husbands family is 30+ people on each side, and she was so well organized and took control of the pictures that day that we were able to get every combination of pictures that we needed. This photography experience was better than l could have ever “pictured” for our wedding day. Elissa is absolutely amazing. If I could hire her for every upcoming family event, I would! We found that Elissa and her team were very easy to work with.. .From the moment we met Elissa, she made us feel very comfortable and we knew instantly that she was the one we wanted covering our special day. She did our entire families Christmas pictures even with all 5 little ones which was quite a challenge but she was calm and reassuring and the little ones ended up cooperating quite well and the pictures turned out awesome.! She also covered our engagement pictures and even though the weather turned out to be a rainy day it was a amazing photo shoot that turned out to be incredibly fun! Elissa is extremely flexible and always there for any questions you may have...As our big day got closer and our course the nerves were settling in, she was right there to assure us everything would be as smooth as can be and she was right..She and her staff were very attentive and just a pleasure to work with and have around..Her assistant for our day was incredible with our little ones as they gravitated towards her which definitely made getting those kids pictures a lot easier... We just received all our pictures back and we are so wowed by every single one..Her work is amazing and recently she and her staff were awarded "Best Wedding Photographer in the Hudson Valley"... We would definitely recommend her!!!!

We got married July 15th, 2017. We were referred to Elissa by our wedding planner. Elissa was great! She was on time, professional and just like she says she was a "fly on the wall," capturing all of the important moments without you noticing she was there. We got a second shooter as well and her team was awesome. They had great ideas for the photos and they came out amazing!!! We're very happy with the final product and would highly recommend her. She also did our engagement shoot and we used the photos for our save the dates and will certainly be using her photos for our thank you cards. She is super cool and great to work with. We loved her positive attitude and enthusiasm. She helped make our day special and we are extremely thankful we chose her for our day.

We met up with Elissa early on in our wedding planning leaving not so sure what we wanted to do about photographers. There had been a couple that I was looking at. Elissa set a clear timeline for us after we told her we wanted to do a first look and all our pictures before hand. She told us what time we would need to be ready for first look, what time to get to the venue and everything...this was EXACTLY what we needed. We met with more photographer after Elissa to immediately decide that we needed to reach back out to Elissa. I reached back out to her to meet up again and sign contracts. We booked just over 10 months before our wedding. Elissa was available when i needed questions answered especially a couple months before when we were tying to figure out time lines with make up and everything else. She called us a few weeks before the wedding to touch base on everything and then again the week of to make sure everyone was on the same page. She met us at the hotel right on time and kept everyone to our timeline. We then headed over to Cornwall Landing to do first look and she made sure my husband was all set so he wouldn't see me before we were ready. She directed everyone where to be and took the right amount of time for everything! Once we got to the venue we did our family pictures and then we were ready for the wedding!! To be honest we were so wrapped up I. The ceremony and reception we didn't even notice her!! Which is a good thing because it meant she wasn't in our way or distracting! She left after cake cutting and people started leaving which is what we previously had discussed since she had more than enough photos and the rest of the time was just some hanging out and dancing! She let us know when she was heading out. We had a sneak peek on instagram about a week and a half. And our flash drive after only 20 days! Elissa we can't thank you enough!!!

I could not be happier with EID photography. Elissa and her team are simply amazing! After one meeting with Elissa we knew we wanted to work with her for our big day. We were honestly dreading our engagement photos simply because we would have preferred to do anything else than sit in the sun for an hour smiling in silly poses. Soon after our session started we realized we were silly to ever think that. Elissa is so fun and easy going. Her love of photography actually got us excited to take pictures. On the day of the wedding, Elissa was more than a wedding photographer - she was a florist, a beauty stylist, and a planner. She anticipated our needs before we even thought to ask. She knew all the important photos to take without even thinking about it. Our only regret was not keeping Elissa when we decided to add on an extra hour at the end of the wedding reception. The turn around time for our photos was even quicker than I would have thought possible. Each and every photo came out stunning. We had such a difficult time picking out our favorites for our wedding album because we liked them all too much! If you're looking for a photographer, I promise you - you will be amazed by all that Elissa does!

When I met Elissa I knew right away I wanted to have her photograph my wedding. Shes so easy to talk to and reassured me every step of the way. From the initial meetings, engagement photos, to wedding day- I knew I could count on her to make everything special and perfect. The day of the wedding she had an assistant- Nicole with her as well, who was also wonderful! Nicole even sewed my husbands pants (who ended up having a huge rip in them before he even put them on!) Elissa is so professional and knowledgable about her work, while letting us have our fun- we took photos in an ice cream shop after first look pictures!

Elissa was highly recommended to my Wife and I through our friend and DJ, Victor Vargas. Before calling Victor for some advice I had called out to a few photographers to get an idea of pricing and an overall vibe of different energies to see what it would be like to work with them. No one really stood out until we gave Elissa a call. We had moved from NY to Austin, TX and had to perform the search via phone and Skype and the first time we spoke to Elissa we connected instantly. We loved her energy and it felt like we had known her forever, not to mention the work she posts online is amazing. Over the course of the next year and change before our wedding we spoke with Elissa every month or so just to catch up and provide some payments and she was always a pleasure to speak with. When our big day came, even though we had never met Elissa in person or did any other prior shoots with her we had an instant chemistry. She was extremely professional, fun, and she got things done which is not very easy to do with the characters we had in our wedding parties :). The weather was also a challenge that day as well, so we were limited in the types of shots we could take because we were pretty much confined to the venue and she still found a way to mix it up and get creative with the limited scenery. Kristin and I had heard horror stories of photographers taking up so much of the bride and groom's time at weddings to the point where it becomes un-enjoyable to take pictures, but that was not the case with Elissa at all. She was very effective and efficient and was actually able to get us done in time to make the end of cocktail hour. When we saw the photos for the first time we were amazed with how she was able to capture all the emotions we had in all of our special moments. The owner and lead photographer of EID photography is amazing! She and her team are easy to work with, flexible, responsive and take amazing photographs. She remains in touch regularly and seeks to give you what you want out of the service. She is flexible to custom build a package as well. The best part of working with Elissa and her team is that she is so friendly and down to earth,yet she knows her place during the event and can kindly yet firmly direct people to where they need to be so as to be as time efficient as possible! She thought of details I would not have, such as being careful the flowers didn't drip on our gowns. They also offer photo favors, which is a gray idea for a party favor guests are sure to love and keep through the years. EID's photographers are hard workers. They will sweat, run, squat, yell out, etc to get the shot they need. I am so impressed with this service I am sure to be back!

Elissa is AWESOME! She was recommended to us from our DJ (and close friend) who said she was the best in the business and he was right! She was super accommodating with our requests and changes as we finalized the plans and the contract. We had so much fun on our engagement session with her, we were unsure about the process but she made us feel comfortable right off the bat. On the wedding day her and her assistant Teri were early and ready to get to work as soon as they arrived. They knew what they were doing and kept us on track the whole day. We were even able to make it to cocktail hour. Our bridal party, families and guests all LOVED them both. Elissa learned everyone's name and relationship to us on first introduction and used names throughout the night. It was amazing! We recommend Elissa for anyone getting married in or around the area!

Elissa is AMAZING! We knew from the second we met her that she was our photgrapher. She is so easy going & she makes everyone else very comfortable while taking photos. We did our engagement shoot with her & she knew the right places to get amazing pictures. On our big day, she arrived at the hair salon even earlier than I expected because she couldnt wait to get started. That made it so amazing because she was able to capture my ladies getting ready as well. She even stopped by the store on her way to the venue to pick up bobby pins (for blondes & brunettes) in anticipation that we would need them. She is the best! I cannot recommend Elissa and EID Photography enough. From the moment I met her she was excited and enthusiastic every time we talked, and she truly made me feel that my wedding was special, even though I know she does so many throughout the year. I knew after we got our engagement photos back that our wedding photos would be great, but I really had no idea how great until I saw them. Elissa and Nicole, her assistant, were able to capture the joy and the emotion that we felt all day and looking at the pictures we feel as though we are able to relive each moment. We met Elissa at a bridal show a year and a half before our wedding. I knew right away as I passed by her brightly colored photographs that I wanted wedding pictures that captured our day in such a vibrant fashion (although at the time my wedding vision was just a dream). We met with Elissa later that month who came HIGHLY recommended by our venue and I knew right away she was "the one." Not only is Elissa professional and accommodating, but she goes out of her way to make your special day perfect in every way (even performing duties not required of her). It is every girls dream to look back at her wedding with pure joy and Elissa is able to not only capture the love and joy in the atmosphere that day, she is also able to bring that happiness back on a daily basis by capturing the essence of your wedding day in a photograph. My husband and I received thousands of beautiful photos from Elissa and every day when we look at those photos it is like we are on the dance floor again or saying I do for the very first time. Working with Elissa and her team was one of the great joys that we experienced on our wedding day! When I first met Elissa, I knew right away that she was the one that I wanted to shoot our wedding. Her work is stunning but she is also so pleasant to be around and has a great sense of humor. Above all, she really knows how to put a nervous bride at ease. Even though my husband and I didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, they worked super hard and we were able to attend some of our cocktail hour and barely missed the reception. Besides the posed shots, I didn't even notice that they were there! I did see them scurrying around working hard, but not once were they in the way.

Elissa is truly wonderful and genuine. I felt a real connection with her the second I met her. Her talent is wonderful and she listens to what you want. We wanted more outside of the box thinking and I feel we did get that. We were happy with our engagement photos and we had so much fun with Elissa. She even went so far as to come to Playland where we got engaged, an hour away from where she lives!!

The day of our wedding was magnificent. She knew that my husband was a little more difficult with pics so she had an assistant come to focus just on him before and during the ceremony. She and her assistant focused on me and the girls and it was just a wonderful experience. She got almost every single picture we wanted minus a few because of time crunch so make sure if you have a long photo list, you leave the time to do it!!

We got a disc originally of 1700 pics that were somewhat edited (she said whichever pic we wanted edited she would be able to do it). Elissa was fantastic with her timing despite personal issues she was having during the year. We had our professional pics within two months (I know couples that have waited almost 4 months from other photographers!) and our wedding album is in the process of getting created currently (February 2013) because of scheduling issues with me and my husband (we had no time do to it before the new year and then with all the snow, didn't have much time till now). I am SO utterly excited for my wedding album I can't even explain. Elissa and I sat together for over 2 hours just going over every photo I chose, figuring out what editing we wanted to do (she even started editing some), picking out photos from the raw photos as well and deciding which pictures to frame for our house. She also said since she had recently adopted a policy of sending out a raw disc of ALL photos taken to her clients, she would extend the same courtesy to me and is sending me out a new one! Can't wait

After searching thru almost all the photographers in the area we decided on EID Photogrpahy....and couldn't be happier with the choice we made! Choosing a photographer is more than just seeing who is the most affordable when you're on a budget as the experience and talent of the photographer isn't as easy as comparing apples to apples. Overall for the amount of time we got, the professionalism and ease of working with her, not to mention the fabulous pictures and albums...as far as we're concerned she ranks #1 in our book. We will definately continue using her for any and all future photography needs (those babies will come eventually and I can't wait to have her take pictures of all of us then too!)

We have pictures that capture the personalities of all involved in our wedding as well as a bunch of special ones that made it look almost as if we had a destination wedding as well!!! I have used Elissa repeatedly. She has photographed our babies, our daughter's Bat Mitzvah, and just some really fun shots we decided to do. She is fabulous. Her professionalism is constant and consistent. Elissa really listens to what you are saying and she is so in tuned to the look you're going for. This woman is beyond impressive. Working with Elissa was amazing. When my husband and I first met her, we connected. She included so much in our package that her price was worth it. We started working with her 10 months before our wedding date to do our engagment photos and from then on, we were great friends. I liked them so much that I dragged my then fiance back to their table to look at their pictures again after we had circled the whole expo. I went home and instantly stalked their wedding galleries on their website, and I was sold. We had one phone conversation with Elissa, never researched another photographer and booked them. Fast forward to our engagement session several months later, and I was a little nervous that maybe I hadn't researched enough or had exaggerated how great they were in my head. NOPE! Our engagement session was absolutely AMAZING and more than we could have hoped for!! Elissa went along with all of our ideas, including hiking all of her gear up to the top of the mountain and stopping to take pictures of us drinking beer along the route. The pictures were to die for. And at our wedding, Elissa and Nicole continued to be incredible. They worked so well together, made everyone feel so comfortable, and blended in perfectly throughout the whole day. People are still telling me how great they were. We got our proofs back in a little over 2 weeks and I can't stop obsessing over them. I have no idea how we are going to choose for our album, but I can tell you that choosing them was the right decision! Thank you EID!!!

My husband and I loved working with Elissa. We worked with her for our engagement session and for our wedding. She was very personable and easy going. Elissa sat with us ahead of time and took time to get to know us, our interests and family. She was receptive to our requests and was easy to work with while taking pictures. We are very happy with the work she did for our engagement photos and can’t wait to see our wedding photos. Elissa was true to her word in getting photos to us within her contracted timeframe. She was more than happy to do some editing of specific photos for me and perform some minor and instant “liposuction” on me…lol! We would definitely recommend Elissa and her assistant Nicole to anyone!

Elissa was great to work with! She helped us coordinate our engagement photos through many weather related issues and was incredibly flexible to make sure that it was the best experience for us. On our wedding day, Elissa was by our side and helped coordinate timing to make sure we got all our photos done with time to spare. The photos are amazing and we will definitely work with Elissa in the future!

When I first started looking into photographers for our wedding, I didn't know what or who I was looking for! There was something about Elissa's website and the style of her photography that appealed to me. It seemed like the right mix of classic and artistic. After speaking to Elissa over the phone I was confident she was the photographer for us. We wound up working with Nicole, who was amazing as well. She did both our engagement shoot and wedding. We have tons of beautiful photos commemorating our special day. Nicole was accommodating, adventurous and resourceful during our engagement shoot at a park in NYC. She made sure we got shots of everything I'd mentioned. On the wedding day, she and her assistant were great. We didn't feel overwhelmed with the amount of photos, yet they captured everything we'd requested - from extended family group photos, to sultry private shots of my husband and I in a dark hallway later in the night! I'd highly recommend Elissa I. Davidson Photography if you're looking for high quality, value, and people who are a pleasure to work with.

Elissa and her assistant Susan were absolutely amazing. We had quite a crazy crew in our bridal party, but they picked up on the energy and captured some truly awesome images. Elissa was great about traveling to do our engagement shoot at a special site, and our guest book was gorgeous. We just got our wedding day photos, and I can't thank her enough for capturing the character of our day. I would recommend Elissa to every bride!

Elissa was phenomenal to work with up to and during our wedding. She had creative ideas of certain shots to take, and we feel her package fee was more than worthwhile for the work put into both our wedding day and the engagement shoot she gave us beforehand.

Elissa was very responsive and professional - until after the wedding when we paid her the final installment of her fee. From that point forwards, we were clearly not prioritized as she took on new shoots with new clients before editing our pictures. We eventually (3-4 months post-wedding) received a cd with over 2000 photos of our wedding day, and many were gorgeous. We also unfortunately received photos that were clearly not ones anyone would want to keep - weird expressions, strange angles, etc.

We returned a list of photo choices for the wedding album (already paid for) in early March 2012 (2-3 weeks after receiving the CD with 2000+ photos to wade through) and it took 9 months to finally receive the album. Per her contract, we were supposed to receive the album within 2-3 months of submitting photo selection, tops. Due to the delay in timing, Elissa did provide us with a free 20x16 canvas blow-up of our choice.

We understood that she had difficulties with her editing assistants, and kept having to replace them. We understood when there was inclement weather or she fell ill. What we didn't understand or appreciate were her repeated assurances that she would "let us know" and "follow up with us" as soon as possible...and then not hearing from her for weeks or months until WE took the initiative to get in touch with her. We felt that we were clearly no longer prioritized as she mentioned being in photo shoots "all week" or "all month" or "all season" and therefore being unable to spend any time editing or finalizing our photos.

Was she wonderful to work with initially? Yes. Would we use her again? Sadly, no.
