Gema Lopez Photography is a Middletown, New York-based wedding, couples, and family photographer. I'm Gema and I have a deep passion for capturing raw emotions and memories. You can call on me to preserve your wedding day as precious images for a lifetime.

Services Offered

Through Gema Lopez Photography, I hope to be of great service to you and your beloved and help to make your big day go as smoothly as possible. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering, an elopement, or a traditional wedding, I'll be the hype girl or fly on the wall that you need. My most popular wedding package covers your engagement session, high-resolution wedding photos, and the services of a second photographer. I also offer one-event-per-day service, multiple venue coverage, portraiture, and a trash-the-dress session. I'd also be happy to travel to cover your destination wedding.

Gema was so fun to work with!

It’s my 1 year anniversary and as I’m looking back at my wedding photos taken by Gema, I’m just so happy and grateful for the beautiful moments she captured! I felt like a princess, had so much fun and felt so relaxed even in the Puerto Rican heat, thanks to her great attitude and professionalism! My husband agrees, and loves each shot! We will absolutely be recruiting Gema for other special moments in our future! Thank you so much Gema!

Stunning Pictures !!

We had a great experience with Gema taking our engagement and wedding pictures! ! Gema is very professional ! Stunning pictures ! Very detailed oriented. 10/10 recommend ! A great person and great pictures overall. :) She definitely knows what she is doing! She captured the love and special feeling of those special days!

Gema is the best!

We used Gema as our wedding photographer and were extremely impressed! She combined her vision and natural skills as a photographer with what we specifically were looking for, and we could not be more impressed with the quality of the photos. I feel as if we are living our special day all over again just looking at them. Something that Gema really excels in is also being able to take control the day of, and make sure that everyone knows exactly what they are doing. With the chaos of everything on the wedding day, I’d say this skill is just as important as the quality of the photos! I could not give Gema a higher recommendation as a wedding photographer and guarantee you will be impressed with both the quality of the photos and of the service.

Best Photographer We Could Have Asked For

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Gema for our special day. From the very beginning, her communication was clear, thoughtful, and responsive—she took the time to truly understand our vision and made sure every detail was captured just the way we imagined. Gema has an incredible gift behind the camera, effortlessly making us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Her warm, positive energy made the experience even more enjoyable, and her flexibility with locations was a huge plus. The final photos were stunning—we genuinely looked and felt our best. Best photographer ever!

Gema was an absolute DREAM to work with! She was so patient with us and her guidance was invaluable during the shoot. She really made it such a fun experience! When we saw the photos we were in awe! They turned out so beautiful. She has the talent of bringing out the best in the photos that she takes. Truly a great photographer!

Amazing Photographer! Talented!

Gema does an amazing job on her photos, but not only that but her editing is also amazing! She took some of my husbands and I wedding pictures and edited really beautifully! We love her work!

Captured so many memories! She is the best!!

Honestly she deserves more than 5 stars. She was the photographer for my wedding. She made me feel relaxed and calm. Honestly her job was so beautiful. All of my photos are amazing. She is the best!!!
