  Due to a fiasco on the day of my bridal portraits (forgot to make my bouquet!!!), I had to fire my previous florist. Creative Petal Designs came highly recommended, and I was so lucky they had my wedding day available even though it was last minute!!! I think God was looking out for me because Cheryl's ideas were far better than the previous florist's!!!! She worked with my budget and made the flower choosing easy!! I am so happy with the florals at my wedding. THEY WERE GORGEOUS!!!!! I received sooooo many compliments on the head table and guest table arrangements!!! And my bouquet was EXACTLY what I always dreamed of!!! Absolutely loved it!!! I highly reccomend Creative Petal Designs!!! Not only are their skills exquisite, but the customer service is fabulous!!! So glad my previous florist messed up!

  Cheryl is so thorough. My sister and I went to Creative Petal Designs for what I thought was going to be a quick first meeting for my wedding, and Cheryl ended up listing out every last detail, down to the exact cost of each flower in each arrangement for that time of the year (flower prices vary based on season). Her creativity, attention to detail and helpfulness really blew me away. I had taken some pictures I had torn out of magazines and printed off the internet. She was able to take the details from each idea that I loved most and create EXACTLY what I wanted, for a very competitive price. It also helped that she is a preferred vendor at The Terrace Club (where my husband and I got married); she knew the layout and tables at The Terrace Club, which really helped in the planning of floral decor. She even let me decorate my own pottery and vases and drop them off about a month before the wedding. I gave her total artistic control over the flowers and arrangements. All I had to tell her were my wedding colors and favorite flowers. The arrangements and bouquets were absolutely perfect! I loved the surprise of walking in and seeing what she had created just for me on the day of my wedding. I had recommended Creative Petal Designs to a friend of mine (her wedding was in April), and she was just as impressed as I was. She said her venue had set up 3 more tables then what they had planned for, and Cheryl was able to create 3 more center pieces literally last minute at the venue to go on the extra tables. Having vendors that can take control of added stressors and find a solution is a true asset. I highly recommend Cheryl to anyone looking for a talented florist for any wedding or event.

  We used Creative Petal Designs for our floral arrangements, bouquets and corsages, boutonnieres and aisle petals for our wedding. Cheryl was great to work with and was able to provide us beautiful flowers that went perfectly with our color scheme while allowing us to stay within our budget. I would recommend her for any of your floral or decor needs within the greater Austin area.

She was very patient and listened to our every word. As we began to close in on the perfect floral picture for our wedding venue, she got very excited and had brilliant ideas. We basically left the rest to her. The day of the event came and we saw our vision come to life. She plopped beautiful peonies on our cake and filled all of our vintage silver containers with whatever flower "fit." The centerpieces were out-of-this-world. My bridal bouquet was everything I dreamed it would be. She also provided flowers for our bridesmaid brunch and the farewell brunch. Each event was completely different, with feminine pink hydrangeas for the bridesmaids and cheery yellow sunflowers for goodbyes. I highly recommend Cheryl and Creative Petal Designs!

  My flowers were GLORIOUS! I just told her what my colors were and what flowers were my favorites and she came up with exactly what I wanted. I trusted her from the beginning to do wonderful work so I never worried about a thing. When she came to my venue the idea that I had about putting corsages on paper umbrellas for my brides maids didn't work out so well, she came up with the idea to put the corsages on the outside of the umbrellas. This idea not only saved the day but was more beautiful then my initial idea. Basically she has a lot of experience and can be trusted to come up with exactly what you want and need with only a bit of information.

  Cheryl with Creative Petal Designs provided the centerpieces, boutineres, corsages, and bridal bouquet for my October wedding. She was reasonably priced, very suggestive when I met with her, and she exceeded my expectations on my wedding day. I was nervous that the colors would be to vibrant for the soft fall theme I was going for...but when the flowers arrived, they were perfect! They were even better than I expected! She has a wide range of centerpieces and decor for the aisle as well. She has great ideas and lots of experience, so listen to her :) Also, my wedding was over 2 weeks ago, and my bouquet is still standing beautifully in a vase! I can tell she used fresh flowers with great quality! She delivered and set everything up so I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day. I recommend her :)

  I was absolutely blown away when I saw my flowers! Cheryl and I had several meetings, and I'll admit that I wasn't always sure that she knew what I was envisioning, but I trusted her, and she absolutely nailed it! Her work for my wedding was above and beyond the work she brings to the bridal shows, and I was amazed by how many flowers we got for our money. We were faced with cutting back our floral budget once we determined our final headcount, but Cheryl was able to suggest more budget-friendly flowers that enabled us to keep the look we wanted. Highly, highly recommend Creative Petals!

  I found Creative Petal Designs at the Bridal Extravaganza show. I was walking down one of the aisles and then there they were with these gorgeous black candelabras, which was perfect for my vision. I met with Cheryl the following week and she was so great! I was upfront about my budget, which was on the smaller side, and she just told me we could work with that and gave me lots of great ideas that would save money but still give the wow factor I was going for. She met with me multiple times through out the process, including coming in to Austin (her studio is in Dripping Springs). She even worked hard to find me two tall black vases, about 3-1/2 ft, to make these specific ceremony pieces I had envisioned. It wasn't any easy feat but she found them and they were perfect. The day of the wedding she was there early and prepared. Everything looked just as I imagined, some things even better than I could have guessed! My husband had no real idea what our flowers would look like, he only really cared about the food and alcohol, and he said he was so happy with how everything looked. I got a lot of compliments on the black candelabras, one of those compliments coming from my husband. Cheryl is such a talented florist but also a great person! I really enjoyed working with her! She made our wedding so beautiful!

  Cheryl did a great job on our simple bouquets and bouts. She took a little long in replying to my communications, which added a lot of stress, but it was definitely worth it! When I saw my all white bouquet, I was almost in tears! That moment was so nice!
