    A wonderful experience and beautiful shots!

    Chris shot our wedding ceremony at the Houston Arboretum and our wedding reception at The Continental Club this Spring. All of the photos turned out so beautifully! Chris was able to really capture all the smiles, laughs, and emotions of our big day and I felt like a princess! We loved Chris's artistic eye and ability to capture such cool shots! He even got on stage and sang us a song with the band!!! It was wonderful having Chris capture such an important day for us and giving us these memories to keep for a lifetime. Seriously, hire this photographer!!!! I recommend you check out his portfolio as it speaks for itself! Amazing work and a super fun guy to work with!

    We hired Chris from our wedding planner at Mansion by the Sea, she had only great, amazing things to say about him and past weddings he did were beautiful we hired him right away! We were so glad we did because we were completely in love with our wedding photos! He took amazing shots and really captured every beautiful moment we had! So great to work with and made sure each photo taken was perfect! He is an amazing photographer!

    You couldn't go wrong hiring Chris! We found him online and I looked through his portfolio and loved his style. Very dramatic. Very artistic. Very stunning. Everyone we know is blown away by our wedding photos. They are pure magic. He travelled with us to Scotland and went above and beyond to get amazing photos. He loves to travel and he's excellent at finding great spots to shoot at.

    Chris did our engagement photos, bridal shoots, and wedding. I loved his work because he seemed like an actual artist, and not just doing the kitschy type of photographic that is currently "in" in the wedding world. He has a unique style and eye that I appreciated. His photos did not disappoint, and I was overall very pleased with what I received. I feel like I got a great deal, honestly.

    Some tips for working with him though, he does not give very good direction with head position, mouth position, etc. so if you are prone to unphotogenic faces, be sure to check the came roll to see while you shoot. He will let you. I'm not saying he doesn't direct how you position yourself as a whole, because he does, but I am very good at making very sour faces and sticking out my chin in weird ways. I wish in my engagement photos I had checked the roll sooner. Also, be clear about what you want. I'm not the best communicator, and there were some photos I wanted that just didn't get taken - like pics of favors, a memory wall, or specific family members. Most of that was my mom not telling my family members to stay and us just getting caught up and not communicating that.

    Anyway, on the whole I am very pleased with how it turned out. We have hundreds of beautiful photos - too many great ones to know what to do with - and if I could go back I would choose him again and would definitely recommend him to my friends for future use. If I could change anything, it would just have been to be more organized and more clear on what I wanted when - which you should do with whatever photographer you use.

    Chris Curry was our photographer at our recent wedding & we could not be happier Throughout the entire process, Chris went above & beyond what I even expected from a wedding photographer & repeatedly demonstrated his investment in capturing our "story" as a couple. Chris, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us - we love the photos you took & have received so many compliments on them from the family & friends we have shared them with.

    To anyone considering Chris as their wedding photographer, here are some more details:

    For our engagement photos, Chris demonstrated his good knowledge of downtown Houston, & also contacted a restaurant that has special meaning to us as a couple & got special permission for us to take photos there during the engagement session.He planned & prepared everything from the itinerary, parking & all the logistics, which allowed us to just have fun.

    For my bridal session, I wanted to take advantage of bluebonnet season here in Texas. This year was not a great year for bluebonnets, but as soon as I relayed this to Chris, he committed to making it happen it for me. Chris drove out to the hill country way ahead of my mom & me while I got ready that day so that he could scope out the best spots.

    On the night before the wedding, Chris came to our rehearsal at the chapel to familiarize himself again with the setup & also understand any rules about where he could/couldn't take pictures.

    On the day of the wedding, Chris was there from the moment I started getting ready until the last song at the reception. He captured every detail - getting ready, the car rides, formal portraits, fun pictures - he even stole us away for a few minutes at the reception & captured some really beautiful pictures outside once darkness had fallen.

    Chris, we cannot thank you enough, for everything you did for us during the entire year leading up to our wedding & we would love to have another chance to work with you!

    Eye for Details

    We were so honored to have Chris shoot our wedding. Chris arrived early to look over our venue at Twisted Ranch. He came prepared and made us feel at ease. I saw his portfolio and I was thinking, how on earth is he going to make photos of us like he has on his website. But my worries faded away as he started working. While we were getting ready I didn't even notice him, but seeing the results were absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony was very cramped and hard to get around in but Chris managed and gave us multiple angles. My family is a bit difficult to coral but Chris took charge with no problem at all. Afterwards he gave us so many options for portraits and we explored the ranch and came up with some beautiful pictures. I could go on, but trust me, you will be so happy with the results. Thank you so much Chris!

    My husband and I fell in love with Chris from the moment we saw his website. He made some beautiful pictures of us in Venice. They are absolutely the best pictures of us ever made! We get so many compliments on them. He was wonderful to work with and knew the area quite well! I was so impressed. Such a lovely experience.

    Chris Curry is a great, professional, and talented wedding photographer who really went above and beyond what we expected on our wedding day! First off, he was punctual (even though we were a few minutes late) and had a clear idea of what needed to be done and when. He was unintrusive during the actual wedding ceremony; I didn't notice him taking pictures at all. Afterwards, we went to Galveston where he suggested that we take pictures on the steps of the San Luis and by the beach. Even though the sun was punishing and we were all sweating buckets, it doesn't show in the pictures and the location was perfect. He stayed until the end of the night, even scouting out the hotel where the reception was and found that they had a rooftop bar where we ended up taking pictures in the fading daylight. All in all, he's patient, thorough, flexible, and knows the Houston area like the back of his hand: everything you'd want from your photographer on a day when you already have so many other things to think about and manage! We got our pictures back promptly and our friends and family love them. Would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

    If you're looking for a photographer who can show you the world, Chris Curry is that guy! We talked for about a week to set up our shoot and he was super fast to respond and answer any and all of my hundred questions. The day of our shoot it was pouring rain and he was kind enough and flexible enough to move it to the next day. The day of our shoot he was there on time and ready to go. We were shooting on a rooftop and I had failed to mention I was afraid of heights....Chris was super patient and helped me through that. By the end of our session I was more than comfortable. He actually had me a few edited images that night! They were beautiful and not so overdone that you couldnt tell it was still me. I can't wait to work with him again in the future. Chris Curry has become a favorite photographer of mine to work with!

    I just want to take a moment to thank Chris Curry soooooo much for taking our engagement pictures and for being the photographer for our big day. It is obvious that we made the right decision by choosing him. For our engagement session, he spent 4 hours with us taking hockey-themed pictures in an ice arena, family pictures with our baby girl in our home, and exploring downtown for the perfect engagement pictures. He even provided us with a large canvas to hang at our wedding.

    When it came to our big day, he was PERFECT! Our group contained a lot of children and was on a strict timeline with many photos, but his patience, professionalism, and creativity made our wedding day more perfect than we ever could have imagined. While we got many compliments on the venue, food, speeches, etc., the one compliment that we heard the most was that the photographer was there to capture everything on camera. From the sunset to the sparkler exit, he captured every big moment for the entire day and put in a grueling 20 hours celebrating with us. He didn't skip a beat when it came to perfect picture moments, both staged or unplanned, and he was everywhere: decorations, group pictures, dances, planned pictures, sunsets, etc.

    If you choose Chris to be your wedding photographer, you will not be upset; he is very reasonably priced for the hard work that he puts in and is amazingly skilled, professional, helpful, and organized and he captured the photos of our wedding day better than anyone ever could have and for that!

    We had the best experience with Chris!
    For our engagement session he took us on top of the helipad at Memorial Hermann and dusk. It was beautiful.
    On our wedding day, he was everywhere. I cried looking at the photos. He captured everything with such exquisite detail and didn't miss a beat. He got some great photos of my mother and father crying during the ceremony.
    The pictures at the venue were so phenom! I didn't even know it was possible to capture everything like that!
    He got photos of my husband and I on the golf course when the sun was going down and I love them so much!
    He had them ready for us when we got back from our honeymoon.
    He was our favorite vendor of all. I cannot say enough great things about him!

    I can't say enough! Quality work, super easy to work with and we got these lovely books out of tons of photos! You won't regret using him at all. We were more than pleased with our photography work and his pricing is competitive!

    I can not say enough GOOD things about Chris. My father was a professional photographer before 1960 when I was born until his death in 2000, so I am extremely jaded when it comes to professionalism and attention to detail in photography! Chris EXCEEDED my expectations and even reminded my of my father during my daughter's photo shoots with his posing positions and lighting enhancement. For bridal portraits and weddings, you can't beat Chris! And based on this alone, I am certain his other photography offerings are first class all the way. I 150% recommend Chris Curry Photography.     Chris is a great photographer. He is excellent at capturing both candids and posed pictures.
    I have worked with Chris on several occasions including corporate head shots, conferences, and social events. He is always ready to capture not only the best shot, but also the right feeling.
    He is also very responsive via e-mail and provides his photography very quiclkly.
    I will definitely work with Chris again and recommend him to friends and colleagues.

    Chris was a great photographer and really easy to work with. He was open to any and all of my ideas and brought a lot of great ones of his own. You can tell he really cares about what he does and how your pictures will turn out. He's easy to get a hold of and very responsive. It was definitely one less worry for me on our wedding day. Definitely would suggest using him for engagement and wedding photography!

    All I have to say about Chris is that he is AMAZING!!! He is actually my favorite vendor from them all at my wedding! I can't even tell you how happy I am with my photos, it has been hard to chose the best ones to give to my family, there are so many and all of them are beautiful! I had a lot of ideas for photos and he went with them, and created them all. Actually the photo that is posted right now as his company photo on this site is a photo from my wedding. He told me he had not done sparkler shots before, but he got as much info as he could and they came out BEAUTIFUL!!! He will now also be the photographer of my brothers wedding in november!! THANK YOU CHRIS!!!

    My husband and I chose Chris from a slew of photographers in the Houston area. We were so pleased with our choice! From the engagement session to the wedding after party, Chris was 100% in the moment and excited to be taking photos of us. We absolutely love our photos - especially the creative ones! Chris was adventurous and took us to the top of one of the buildings downtown for some especially daring engagement photos. We loved one so much we had it printed and displayed at our wedding reception. Chris was extremely flexible and affordable as well. Thanks Chris for making our wedding memories so amazing!

    Chris Curry did a fantastic job from the beginning to the end. Our first meeting with him was very successful and we knew right away that we wanted to work with him. He helped us find the best ideas according to our tastes. On or wedding day he did the most amazing job. He was on time, ready to work and with a very friendly attitude. He delivered our photos very fast and they were amazing! We ordered an album as we'll and we are very pleased with the results. We will work with him again for sure for future events! I recommend him!

    I work as an Art Director at a Fortune 500 company so I have a lot of experience working with photographers. I know quite a few in my area and Chris was my top choice for capturing my wedding. Chris has an excellent eye for composition and color; He was just magical at capturing the essence of our personalities. His laid-back personality set everyone at ease. He was professional, flexible and extremely easy to work with. I had high expectations and he exceeded them. We LOVE the photos he took of our wedding and I've gotten a LOT of compliments from the people I've already proudly shared them with. Beautiful work! I highly recommend him!
