Above and Beyond
Beth went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. She is so talented and our wedding pictures will help us perfectly remember this most beautiful day of our lives. We started with an engagement shoot with Beth and she helped us quickly feel at ease when we clearly felt awkward and unsure of what to do. Leading up to the wedding she was very organized and made sure to go over all of the details with me. On the day of our wedding she efficiently captured all of the formal pictures that we requested and helped everyone to pose in ways that were flattering for everyone. During the ceremony and reception she went largely unnoticed, capturing images in a natural way as moments unfolded. Beth even helped me fix my hair, veil, and shoes throughout the night as little issues arose... going far beyond her job description. We will cherish all of the images she created for us for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Beth to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! -

Sarah Sent on 10/04/2018Beth is AMAZING! My favorite thing about her is that she knows how to get the best shots, and she'll go above and beyond to do so. She is direct, which was really great for my husband and I, because she told us what to do and where to go (with our input, of course) and because of her knowledge of lighting, body movements and shapes, etc, we ended up with amazing shots that are so incredibly beautiful. Even if you are a little shy, like I am, she makes you feel very comfortable and makes the experience of having your photos taken so much fun. She genuinely enjoys seeing the love you and your partner have, and wants to capture it as beautifully as she can. She is extremely helpful throughout the entire day and evening. I recommend doing an engagement shoot with her as well, so she can get to know you and your partner and how you interact in front of the camera. We loved our experience with Beth, and couldn't be happier.

Robert Sent on 11/18/2017From the moment Beth and her team arrived at the hotel to the very last photo, they were unbelievable. Beth took control but did it in such a professional and compassionate way that was simply amazing. At one point in midst of family photo complexity, we overheard Beth and her team talking about making sure my parents didn't stay out in the cold given their age. We also walked out of the bridal room right before the guests were arriving and saw Beth talking to our 14 year old son about his camera. At that critical moment in time when the wedding was beginning, Beth took time to help him. We are so grateful that she did that for him ... really remarkable. Beth and her team also blended in seamlessly with the guests and always seemed to be on the spot for photo opportunities. As if this isn't enough reason to love her, the photos were outstanding, really outstanding, capturing moments for us that we will always treasure.

The entire experience from first consultation to follow up after our wedding has been both personal and professional. Beth held an engagement photo shoot with us which was brilliant. We gained familiarity with her her and with being photographed at that time. This made our wedding day natural and effortless. Our wedding collection is outstanding! It is the perfect match of formal pictures and candid. She seemingly effortlessly captured the essence of our whimsical and elegant day! Beth and her assistant, Laura, worked together brilliantly. The photos we requested were taken and their artistry was beyond imaginable. Beth has an innate knack of reaching all people in a wedding including young, special needs, elderly, to achieve remarkable results. She sees the opportunity for the perfect snap and achieves it. We weren't planning to do engagement photos, but Beth pointed out to us that she really likes to get to know her couples before their wedding -- so that the wedding day is not the first day everyone is getting to know one another. I had never thought of it that way, and we were so happy to have found someone who showed a true philosophy behind what they do. Beth and Evan made us feel so comfortable, so at ease...and they're just so pro. On the day of the wedding, they check in with you, they speak with you when absolutely necessary, but they know when to duck to the side and let you do...whatever it is you need to do! They are kind and patient, yet firm and efficient, making the most out of your time together. I absolutely love their approach to candid shots. They're a dynamic duo...highly recommend!! -
User1960529 Sent on 12/09/2014I'll start by saying that having great wedding photos was the thing I cared most about for our wedding. Beth and Evan exceeded my every expectation.
It was a pleasure getting to know Beth and Evan better during the engagement pictures. What I liked most about them is how laid back and easy to work with they are.
On our wedding day, we did ''First Look''. They captured that special moment between the two of us, seeing each other for the first time. We had a traditional Greek Church ceremony with reception that followed. They caught every special moment and we couldn't be happier with the results.
The most common compliment we hear about our photos are that they are "magical." I think Beth and Evan really know how to work with the lighting, and that gave our photos the whimsical look we love. They also captured a lot of sweet, natural moments of our day. I can't wait to pick my favorites for the album!
I would definitely recommend them to friends, and still smile like a huge goofball every time I look through our photos.

From when I first met Beth, I knew she would be a calming presence at the wedding and was exactly right. Our engagement session beforehand really gave us a chance to get a feel for working with Beth and Evan. Then the day of, they arrived early, had scoped out the venue for an hour before even I arrived, and had planned the best places for our formal photos despite the rain. They were organized, efficient, and such a pleasure to work with - throughout the wedding, Beth was my source of "what to do next" and "where to be." The photos were beautiful, natural, and by far my favorite expenditure when it came to our big day. Would work with Candidly Beth again in a heartbeat.
