  Benedict Verley

  So many things went wrong with my wedding day but Benedict was not one of them. She made the whole day amazing! And seeing her work after the wedding truly reminded me on what my wedding was all about. Love and marrying my best friend. If it wasn’t for her photography I could honestly say that I would have a very negative place in my heart for my wedding but Looking at my wedding pictures I see how truly amazing the day was. She is the best photographer and the best to work with! I can’t say enough of amazing things about her!!! Thank you so much Benedict for making my wedding memories amazing!

  So many things went wrong with my wedding day but Benedict was not one of them. She made the whole day amazing!   Pure perfection! Where do I begin? From our first conversation through the various emails and engagement shoot to the actual wedding- I was smitten with Benedicte! Not only is she warm, kind, and easy to talk with - she also takes exquisite photos- the type you see in magazines. She is a true artist with a keen eye for interesting and gorgeous shots! It is also a pleasure just to be around Benedicte- her exuberant spirit and kindness is contagious. I am so thankful I found Benedicte and would encourage anyone planning an event to seek out her talents!

  Bénédicte is amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things. You always hear "the day flies by" but I had no idea how true this was going to be on my wedding day. I wish I had had more time, but when we received that first set of photos, I was set at ease. Bénédicte caught everything, the moment a friend cracked a joke and we all laughed, when my brother guiltily grabbed another piece of cake, when I hugged an Aunt I had not seen for years! The wedding came to life for me because of the care and attention Bénédicte took.
  She worked magic, but every shot is beautiful. And what a pleasure to work with, so professional, accommodating, and helpful, I could not have done it without her.
  I am convinced that no one could have done better.

  When we got our photos back, we were in complete awe. She captured every moment and every person perfectly. Deciding to use Ben was the best and easiest decision we made throughout our entire planning process. Narrowing down our favorites to create our album is going to be a struggle

  We instantly developed a wonder rapport with Bénédicte. She was so lovely to work with. We enjoyed both our Engagement and Wedding day shoots largely due to her enthusiasm and excitement. It was contagious!

  Benedicte was the definition of class and sophistication leading up to our wedding and on the big day. She provided excellent direction to everyone in our photos, which was reflected in each image. She took a huge family photo with 40 people and only needed four shots to make sure everyone looked his/her best! We really appreciated the candids that Benedicte captured as well. She did not request that anyone jump in the air or do any goofy poses. She captured natural moments and we couldn't be more pleased with our gorgeous photos! Her associate photographer Meg was also excellent, especially as the groom and groomsmen were getting ready. She really connected with the guys and even ended up tying their bowties when there was a glitch. I will HIGHLY recommend Benedicte to anyone getting married as she will ensure that the memories last a lifetime!

From our first conversation on the phone to meeting several times before the wedding, Benedicte left me feeling assured and confident that the day would be perfect. She had everything perfectly organized and made everyone feel comfortable on the day of the wedding. We were exactly on time for everything and the shots she took were incredible.   Bénédicte was an absolute joy to work with. When we first contacted her, she was incredibly kind and welcoming to us, wanting to talk with us via Skype so that we could meet each other and see if we'd all be a good fit. The connection was almost instant -- even across the internet. When we did our engagement shoot, she was incredibly flexible. Bénédicte and Anurag were willing to overstay their preplanned time to make sure that our photos would be excellent. Then, during the wedding itself, Bénédicte was so prepared that it made photos seem like a blur. Everyone else we'd spoken to told us how their wedding photos seemed to take forever and detract from the time we got to spend with our family and friends. Bénédicte made sure that the entire time we were doing family portraits that people knew where they were going and what was going to happen next. The best part is that in seeing all of our photos afterwards, she was able to capture both classic portraits but, more importantly, the candid moments that we didn't always notice that day. Being able to have all of the photos digitally, while reserving a select few for the album, will allow us to relive our special day forever. I would recommend Bénédicte to anyone who is looking for a truly personable and professional photographer.

  Benedticte was the most amazing photographer. She has such a great eye and energy about her. Everyone loved her. She was wonderful with children, family members and especially with us, the bride and groom. We can't recommend her enough!

  My wife and I both wanted something more than "pictures" from our wedding -- we wanted art; beautiful photography. I knew this wouldn't be easy -- my dad is a semi-pro photographer and I have been described as "particular." I've also witnessed countless wedding photographers who think being part of the wedding is their job; my wife and I wanted someone who would feel far away but somehow capture every moment as if he or she were right next to us.
  
  Bénédicte Verley was referred to us by a family friend, whose aging father defined advertising photography in the 50s and 60s. From our first skype call, my wife and I knew we had found someone who would delivery art photography. Bénédicte has an exceptional methodology to working with clients, which includes an engagement portrait shoot so everyone can get comfortable.
  
  Since our wedding, we've had drinks with Bénédicte and have thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful images she created from our wedding. Photographs from our wedding have appeared across several international newsmedia websites and publications.
  
  I would highly recommend Bénédicte if you're looking for:
  - Wedding art photography
  - A primary photographer who also has excellent supporting photographers (I've met two and one photographed our wedding with Bénédicte)
  - Excellent value (engagement and wedding photography was included in one price)
  - Someone who is self-sufficient and resourceful

  We researched over 30 photographers and interviewed at least five. You will not go wrong with Bénédicte Verley!

  I totally agree with what the other reviewers have said. Our venue's wedding planner recommended Benedicte, and I ultimately chose her because of her style (I wanted wedding photos that were modern and artistic, not cheesy and traditional), her personality (very warm, puts you at ease, doesn't feel intrusive at all), her flexibility (very accommodating with working within our budget). Our wedding had some challenging photography conditions, with gusty winds and a very bright sunset behind the ceremony, but the photos turned out to be beautiful. She's super sweet and professional and it was so nice to have one less thing to worry about on the wedding day. I highly recommend her!

  Benedicte is a great photographer! Not only is she a very talented photographer who takes great photos, she is easy to work with all along the process. We were so excited to be able to get her for our wedding date. We asked her for additional photographers and also did our engagement photos with Benedicte. All of the photos came out great. Family and Friends have all loved the photos. She took a good mix of candid photos and set photos throughout the day/night. We love the candid photos our reception. Watching all of our friends and family smiling, dancing, and having a great time will be something that we remember forever thanks to Benedicte. No better photographer out there!

  Just the BEST. Bénédicte and her team are more than amazing and her work speaks for itself. Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. These photographs will stand the test of time. She has a true talent for capturing the raw emotions of the day and hones in on every detail. I really could go on for days about how wonderful she is. We are fans for life.

  I couldn't be happier with my images and how they turned out! Every aspect of the day from the finest details to the many emotions running throughout were captured beautifully and accurately. We will definitely use MBV photographer for future events to come!

  Benedictine and her associates were not only incredibly easy to work with, but their talent and creativity was outstanding! They were punctual the day of the wedding and did everything in their power to make me have no cares the day of my wedding. Leading up to the wedding and after, they were very responsive on any questions or concerns we had. Lastly, their pricing is fair. Could not have picked a better wedding photographer. Pick them for your special day and you will not be disappointed!

  My husband and I hired M Bénédicte Verley Photography for our wedding on May 3rd in New Haven, CT. Simply stated, working with Bénédicte and her associate Anurag was “a dream”. The moments she captured were a true art form of style and grace. Once Bénédicte and her team arrived their beautiful energy made the whole process stress-free. They are a sophisticated group and exceeded our highest expectations. Anyone who has the privilege of working with her and her team is in the best of hands. Her work is flawless!

  AMAZING
  I was a little nervous about the photography because I don't like the camera on me, but the moment I met Benedicte for an info meeting, I knew she was going to be my photographer. Not only is her work amazing ... it speaks for itself, but she is such a calm, warm, lovely person, I felt so comfortable and confident with her. We also did our engagement photos with her. She's an outstanding photographer, artist, but also just a truly lovely person to work with.
