I anticipate all those candid moments, providing you with a genuine showcase of your love story — at a price that is within reach. From start to finish, I provide personalized service for our couples while being kind, professional, reliable, easy to contact, and fun to work with. I accept a limited number of weddings each year, so I'm able to give each celebration the utmost care.
Experience
Laura is the owner of 9ten Photography and is an award-winning journalist and photographer. Her photography has been featured on news outlets such as "The Today Show" and "Good Morning America." Laura also works as volunteer photographer for the Down Syndrome Society of Rhode Island.
Engagement
Each wedding package includes an option for an engagement session. These sessions not only give you many beautiful photographs for Save the Dates or wedding websites, it also gives you a little preview of what you can expect from us on the wedding day.
These engagement photos are less traditional – more comfortable and fun. Wedding days are so busy and even when we all strive to make them as easy going as possible, having a solid relationship with your photographer from the engagement session will only bring you comfort on the day of your wedding.

Among the Best!
Laura covered my wedding in a way that exceeded all my expectations. To begin, she held several prep calls to understand my needs, my expectations and (most importantly) my family. It never occurred to me how important it would be for the photographer to know ahead of time if there are any weird family dynamics.
Once we received the photos we were completely blown away! She captured moments, emotions, and atmosphere. In showing the album to my guest, many said the same thing: “I didn’t even realize she was there. How did she get these amazing shots?!”
Lastly, I’ll mention that my wedding ended with a slight tragedy. My husband and I were very nervous about how we would feel looking at the pictures. Laura put together a gallery that allowed us to appreciate the beauty of our ceremony rather than focus on the negative. For that, we will always be grateful for her.
