Laura was such a dream to work with! She was so genuinely kind throughout the whole process and I felt like I was working with a friend. She put in so much effort the day of and preparing for the big day to make sure we’d have exactly what we wanted. Her calming energy was so helpful to have around on the big day, and she was always right where I needed her. I never felt stressed or worried and Laura was a huge part of that! I cannot recommend her more, you won’t regret it. We were already thrilled with the experience when we received our photos back and we were just blown away by the quality and everything she managed to capture. What an amazing experience with Laura, we were so lucky to have her as a part of our day! -

Laura made us feel at ease on our wedding day, cared for and seen. She understood how uncomfortable we both are with a camera pointed at us and made something we were nervous about very comfortable. The photos came out great. -

Laura & Chris are incredible people–thoughtful, attentive, and extremely chill. They were the perfect folks to have with us in the high-emotion crucible of a wedding day; they were grounded and funny, and knew instinctively how to bring the stress levels down. We felt totally at ease to be our full selves with them around. And they have a fantastic eye for capturing personality! The photos we got back from them are kinetic, and full of the spirit of the day. We can't recommend them highly enough. -

Amazing experience from start to finish, I had no worries about my photos because of my experience with Laura. She was so professional but also made me feel like we've known eachother for years. Among the Best!
Laura is AMAZING and I give the highest recommendation possible for her. She is kind, patience, and very easy to work with.
Laura covered my wedding in a way that exceeded all my expectations. To begin, she held several prep calls to understand my needs, my expectations and (most importantly) my family. It never occurred to me how important it would be for the photographer to know ahead of time if there are any weird family dynamics.
Once we received the photos we were completely blown away! She captured moments, emotions, and atmosphere. In showing the album to my guest, many said the same thing: “I didn’t even realize she was there. How did she get these amazing shots?!”
Lastly, I’ll mention that my wedding ended with a slight tragedy. My husband and I were very nervous about how we would feel looking at the pictures. Laura put together a gallery that allowed us to appreciate the beauty of our ceremony rather than focus on the negative. For that, we will always be grateful for her. -

Easy to work with, captured our day beautifully
Laura and team were wonderful to work with. Laura was receptive to our needs to capture candid shots as much as possible which we loved seeing in the final shots. Planning a wedding across the country was a project, and one of the things I was most worried about was photography - Laura made it a piece of cake. She was wonderful, professional, and incredibly flexible. We did our engagement shoot the summer before the wedding at a time when my fiance and I were visiting Massachusetts, and I knew right away I had picked the right photographer. The resulting galleries were stunning. Thank you so much! -

When I think back on our experience with Laura, two major factors stand out above all:
Professionalism - From the moment we each separately met her, we were put at ease. She came in on time and ready to go with a great attitude. We always felt heard with regards to the specific locations and shots that we wanted, and nothing was ever an inconvenience for Laura. She is very kind and patient, which is key for getting those big family photos with a lot of moving people.
Quality - The photos themself are just stunning. Thanks to Laura, we now have an organized library of the most beautiful and intimate moments from our wedding day. Each picture is perfectly edited and offers a color and a black and white option.
Overall, we couldn't be happier! You will not regret choosing 9ten Photography! -

Wedding Photography
We are absolutely confident that going with 9Ten Photography was the right decision for our wedding celebration. Not only did they make the whole process and planning extremely easy, but they helped us with any questions and kept in touch, even throughout the whole pandemic and postponing our original day. The communication before hand, made our big day a lot less stressful for us, as we knew we could trust them to keep things organized and efficient. Our pictures went extremely smooth, and the final outcome was more than we could every have expected from our wedding photographer. We have nothing but love for these 2 amazing people! -

Laura and Chris photographed my fiance's brother's Summer 2020 wedding and did SUCH an incredible job, we knew we had to have her for our Fall 2021 wedding! Laura has been responsive, kind, and thorough in all of her communications, even while welcoming a new baby into the world in crazy 2020! We did our engagement shoot in September and were super nervous, but Laura and Chris helped us get comfortable and got some incredible photos of us (and our energetic dog!!!!). The turnaround time was really quick -within a couple of weeks we were able to print out save the dates and set up our wedding site with the photos she took, and we had tons to pick from that we both liked, which is rare! Also, Laura and Chris share their pictures through a URL so I could easily send it to close family and friends for them to see without having to download and send the whole album myself. I will for sure come back to 9ten for any future photography needs we have and can't wait to see how our wedding pictures turn out!
Update: Our pictures from our wedding on 10/8 are absolutely out of this world! Laura made us feel so comfortable and got awesome candids and portraits. They really captured the joy and fun we had on our wedding day! Thank you!!!! -

Truly. Amazing.
Laura and Chris are an AMAZING couple to work with. Right from the first meeting they were so easy to get in touch with and always managed to ease my mind about wedding day jitters. My husband and I have never had professional pictures before and after a couple pictures I almost forgot that pictures were even being taken. Both of our families are quite large and we had a lot of of must haves, our pastor ended up going a little over on time and they made sure they still had the chance to take every picture we requested and then some. Turn around time was way faster than I expected and every picture came out so beautiful. It was like reliving the day all over again. Would recommend to anyone 1000/10. I honestly can't say enough -

9tenPhoto came at the recommendation of a friend, and we are ecstatic with the results that we received. Laura and Chris were very responsive and helpful during our planning process and, on the day of the wedding, took spectacular photos that truly captured the magic and the feel of our special day. We also received all of our photos exactly one week after our wedding. Laura and Chris are consummate professionals and masters of their craft. We hit it off with them from our first meeting, and they were very helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the whole wedding process. The pictures turned out great and they made sure to capture all the little details of our day without getting in the way. Despite having a long list of group shots after the wedding, we managed to get them all done ahead of schedule, giving us time for extra couple's shots and more time spent enjoying the reception. Despite very challenging lighting issues at my ceremony and reception, Laura's magic managed to make beautiful photos. She also has a creative eye and lots of patience with unusual requests (my husband likes Star Wars) and disinterested flower girls! I was thrilled to have her take our photos and would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a professional, atmospherically-sensitive, people-friendly photographer.
