Parker Simpson Studio

A girl dreams of her wedding day from a very young age and Parker captured the photos from my dreams. His photography is BEYOND the classic wedding shots. It's editorial, funky, unique, and just flat out beautiful. Not to mention he knows how to get the shot that makes you look like you're GLOWING. Im an actor/model and I literally flew Parker to California to shoot my wedding. Thats how worth it he is!!! I love hanging with him but on my wedding day I didnt even notice he was around. He was a stealthy little fox but he captured EVERY important moment I wanted without me even having to give him a shot list!!!

Parker is absolutely awesome. He was patient and adaptable when we had to cancel/reschedule our wedding because of Covid. He’s friendly, quick to respond and courteous, and when it comes to the actual photoshoot he’s knowledgeable about what to do to make things look good and quick on his feet to catch good lighting. He was also helpful in wrangling loved ones for our posed portraits during our wedding. I don’t need to wait to see our final wedding photos before writing this because he was also our engagement shoot photographer two years ago, and the turnaround time for them was fast and their quality was fantastic. They’ll all make beautiful keepsakes for our whole lives. Both then and for our wedding he took suggestions (including some tromping through woods and back roads that I suggested, in the engagement shoot) and had good, creative ideas of his own- a great balance of following and taking the lead. It’s clear to my new husband and me that he’s gonna have a great career as a photographer, and you should book him while you can.

We loved working with Parker! He especially had a talent for capturing the “imperfect” and raw moments, making them appear fun and captivating. We also loved the mix of formal with the informal shots, and his use of digital and film made our photos so unique.
The only minor critiques I have is that he didn’t capture the groom’s look when I was walking down the isle, and some of the photos came out more “blurry” than I would have preferred, but I think that’s also part of his style so it’s just something to be aware of. The great thing about Parker is that he’s very receptive to any requests, so just make sure you tell him the details of your vision :)
