We got married this past September and had Alison Marie Photography capture our entire day! I highly recommend Alison. She is very professional, personable, and so sweet! She makes the process fun and very comfortable especially for those who getting their pictures taken doesn’t come natural! The packages she offers are also great. We got our engagement session, 8 hours of coverage on our wedding day, a second photographer (who was also so amazing!), and a photo album all included in the package we chose. I thought this was so amazing and reasonable! Alison helps create a timeline for your day of pictures and is great about sticking with it. My wedding party wasn’t the easiest to deal with and she made it so fun for them yet made sure they got all the photos done they needed to. We also had a large wedding, 170 people. I requested getting one big group photo on the large patio. The day of I thought this was never going to be able to happen, yet Alison made it happen!! I put this picture on my thank yous and all our guests loved it!
I can’t recommend Alison enough, I look forward to having her capture more moments in our life! -

Highly recommend!!
Alison was our photographer for our surprise engagement at the High Falls Conservation Area and she was incredible! She worked with my fiancé beforehand to plan the surprise and was willing to travel and hike to meet our needs. The pictures came out beautifully and it was an honor to have her with us in our special moment. Alison helped us effortlessly pose, laugh, and be silly — which all helped create everlasting memories via photography. -

Wonderful Experience

Alison was absolutely incredible- start to finish! We started the consultation service over Facetime in the deep lockdown of COVID, while we were living in a different state, not knowing what the next few years would bring. Alison was fun and engaging-someone who my (now) husband and I thought “we would sooo hang out with her”. Alison pivoted with us when COVID lockdowns re-tightened up and we decided to push. Alison was consistent, thorough, and so much fun to plan with. On the day of, she made my husband and I so comfortable, she made us laugh and captured some incredibly organic and true to life happiness. Our photos are stunning, and we will treasure them forever. You CANNOT go wrong hiring her. Hands down phenomenal. Cheers, Alison! -

We were planning a small wedding with only 15 people, at the very last minute, and Alison was incredibly organized and helped us choose a package that was exactly what we needed. On the day of the wedding she came a bit beforehand to take photos of the guests, arch and flowers. Because we had discussed all the group photos we wanted beforehand, everything went very quickly so we had more time for pictures of only my husband and I. Alison made us feel very comfortable and the photos turned out better than I could have hoped. We also received our photos back within a week of the wedding which was a happy surprise. All in all, I would recommend Alison Marie Photography to anyone looking to get married. We had no regrets choosing her. -

We are so grateful to have had Alison on our wedding day. Not only is she extremely talented but she makes you feel so comfortable, like you have known her for years. She is incredibly flexible and accommodating. She was there for us through multiple wedding plan changes due to the pandemic and ultimately we asked her to travel to the Cape to photograph our microwedding. She made it feel as if it was no big deal and was there for any other advice along the way. I can not possibly thank her enough. We will forever cherish our timeless photos and the memories she captured. Look no further. She is your girl. -

There are so many great things I could say about Alison! She is professional, responsive, creative, and fun to work with. Due to Covid we had to shorten our guest list significantly and it was important to me that the photos were perfect. We just got all of our wedding photos and we absolutely love them all!!
Alison was so wonderful and easy to work with and her natural light photography is amazing, we will definitely be using her again in the future.
Alison was so helpful at helping us feel comfortable in front of a camera, she made us laugh and felt as ease while she was talking all of our photos. She was very good and quick at responding to any questions we had, she has lots of wedding experience and gave us some wonderful ideas for how the day would go and the timeline she provided on the wedding day was so helpful!!
We got married at one of the busiest times of year the fall and Alison was quick to get us the gallery !!

We just got our wedding photos back, and are absolutely in love with them. Alison did such an amazing job capturing our day. Choosing a photographer was one of the most stressful decisions for me, and I'm so happy I went with Alison. She captured such special moments -- including an amazing moment laughing with my 98-year-old grandfather that I'll treasure forever. She was organized, professional, and working with her to create a doable day-of timeline was such a big help. Our family all loves the photos, and we'll cherish these memories for decades to come. Highly recommend! -

Alison did an amazing job in capturing our special day and doing it in a way that was so easy and enjoyable. She has an eye for capturing the best moments as the naturally happen. Even though I had just met her in person on the day of the wedding (had spoken on the phone before), I instantly felt completely comfortable with her as if we've known each other for years. You will not regret it! She is the BEST!
Having Alison as my photographer was such a great experience for me and my husband. She helped me with all kind of aspects, not just photography. She was so helpful, recommended other people to work with (my DJ and videographer), and helped me plan our wedding day timeline. She was flexible, professional, and her work is extraordinary. She put me at ease when I was feeling stressed about details. And the pictures came out gorgeous. I am so happy with our pictures. Our engagement pictures came out awesome. There will never be enough words to describe how absolutely amazing it is to work with Alison. I remember when I first started wedding planning I booked an appointment with Alison to view work/discuss pricing. I walked into her studio and it was so bright, and pristine, her art hung on the walls on canvas prints, everything looked so beautiful. I was in complete awe. Then she gave me an album to look through and I didn’t even have to think twice before knowing she was the ONE. Leading up the engagement shoot, Alison sent us a package. It contained a magazine that she made featuring her work with a wedding day outline as a guide to help us plan (we honestly used that outline pretty much verbatim and everything worked out perfectly!). She also provided a photo outline on what photos we want (bride and grooms parents, bride and brides parents, bride and sister etc) that is so helpful and such a stress relief when you’re worried about getting all of the shots that you want! But during our engagement shoot we really got to know Alison and how she works. She is so genuine, and she is set on capturing your genuine moments. She will guide you through poses but she will capture the naturalness of you in that pose. She will make you laugh throughout your entire session, and then cry when you receive your photos! She is so beyond talented but she is also so raw, so human. That really shows in her photos. Who she is shines through and it makes for absolutely beautiful photography. I thought I loved my engagement photos, until I got my wedding photos. She will capture the important things that you didn’t even realize were important to you. She has this ability to make you feel, and make you remember how you felt during a specific moment. Worth every penny and more. Alison, thank you so much for all of your hard work, for creating such beautiful memories for us, and for being such a genuine kind soul. You are the absolute best and I cannot wait to see the future family photos we have from you! -

We hired Alison for both our engagement and wedding photos. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our photos came out fantastic and she was incredibly flexible in making our schedule and requests.
We even had to dodge a couple raindrops during the session and she took great care of us and got us everything we needed.

A photographer was one of the first vendors we booked for the wedding because photos are something that mean a lot to us. After speaking with a few different photographers through email, Alison was the only one that we felt was the most professional. Her response time was quick and her emails were informative.
After meeting with her for our consultation, we knew she was the one. She was fun, down to earth, and her style was exactly what we envisioned our wedding photos looking like. We quickly booked her and scheduled our engagement session. On the day of our engagement session we were expected to get a quick rainstorm. As soon as Alison arrived at our house, it started to monsoon. Alison patiently waited for the storm to clear in hopes that the shoot would still work out. Even though we got a little wet, the pictures turned out amazing!
As we got closer to the wedding, Alison took the time to go and visit the ceremony and reception locations because they were new to her. She listened to the different areas that we really loved about the site. She also created a detailed schedule that we planned to follow for the entire day. It was so helpful, well thought out, and made us feel like everything was going to be covered.
On the wedding day, Alison and her assistant Brooke, were so fun and calming to be around. They quietly captured moments as they were naturally happening without being intrusive (something that was important to us!) They worked so well together that every angle, emotion, and memory was captured from the day. When we got our images back, we could not stop smiling at how amazing they were. Magazine quality images for sure!
A few months after the wedding, I reached out to Alison again. I wanted to do another bridal shoot, but this time with my horse. Alison quickly got back to me and we booked a date. Not knowing how this was going to go and if my horse was even going to cooperate, Alison was so patient and accommodating for any ideas that I had in mind. She again captured the most beautiful images that I am going to treasure forever.
If you are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, professional photographer, Alison is your girl. Alison Marie Photography completely exceeded our expectations with the photographs that we received and people still comment on how amazingly gorgeous they turned out. -
