I am a previous customer of this troubled woman (15s shoot), I am now engaged and was looking for vendors when I came across her page and decided to leave a review, since I now feel I am old enough to convey my experience in a more eloquent way, to which she replied very rudely and privately so no one could see how horrible she truly is.

This response reflects her self centered “I’m better than everyone” personality but if you want proof for yourself just scroll down and look at the disgusting replies she’s left for her clients. Appalling. My experience with her was as a shy teen, which she totally took advantage of Here is what I have to say about her.
This woman doesn't even have the decency to apologize for turning an experience that was supposed to be fun and once in a lifetime into something that I will always remember bitterly, my parents did reach out to her and express that I was upset, they were given a reply basically stating that they signed away their rights to any picture she took of me. But let me elaborate even more. I loved your work in the beginning, because I ideally wanted unique design studios but they were too pricey for my budget unfortunately (which in retrospect I would've paid probably less then I ended up paying with alina) when I commented to my makeup artist that that's how I found alina, the makeup artist told Alina something which her childish self somehow interpreted as "bad mouthing her" when in fact I was comparing her work to a studio I loved and she had absolutely no reason to be upset at that but whatever. If I hated her from the moment I met her, I would never have let my parents hire her. I actually really liked her in the beginning but unfortunately I was just given a facade. I was not an angry child no matter how much she wants to justify her actions in saying that, but even if I was, wouldn't it make sense that, as the adult and "professional" in this situation, she should have had a little more decorum, patience and empathy? Not that that was the case because like I said, I did literally everything she asked. Let's move on to the timing issue. We booked I believe 2-3 hours at a studio to take the pictures. This photographer and her team arrived about an hour late. We were paying for this time and this photographer couldn't be bothered to show up on time. Which resulted in my makeup and hair being hurried because we had to leave since the next appointment was there to use the studio. Then we went to a naaaaasty part of the beach. You know the dog beach? The muddy part at the end? Yeah, there. My session ended abruptly and with loads of attitude and hostility from the photographer to a point where my mother looked at me and was like ?? what just happened, all because she told me (more like pressured me, but whatever I had the option to decline I guess) to step into this muddy water, and when I did, my foot immediately sank about a foot into the sand at which point I immediately jumped out. This apparently offended the photographer and she decided that was it. Anyway, moving on, you can see here how she immediately results to insulting me and the mental state she assumes (incorrectly) that I am in, "anger management" "I hope you heal emotionally" spoken like a true gaslighter, and I don't like that term, I don't use it loosely, but it's exactly what she is. Furthermore, like a true narcissist, compliments her work again and again despite the fact that she's known for a long time we weren't happy with the results, she never made any effort to even consider that not everyone sees things the same as she does or thinks the same as her and unfortunately her work with MY pictures came out in a way that I did not like . This photographer never cared about how I felt, how I wanted my pictures, or how I looked. This photographer only cared about her "art". She never consulted me for what kind of set I wanted, she just told me to buy clothes to match her "vision" or whatever. This woman seems to think that my review was to target her, but fortunately for her I don't care about her that much. I left this review to warn brides and grooms of my horrible experience with her, so that hopefully no bride has to go through an experience like mine and apparently I’m not the only one who feels this way about her.And ps. Alina, fortunately I have gotten older since then and have learned that some people just suck and you can't be angry at that, so I forgive you. Be well girlfriend
I know this review is for wedding shoots and mine was a 15s pictures but it’s still the same photographer, and I’m sure she’ll try to write some snarky response about how I’m wrong but I’m also sure she’ll show her true colors as she’s done literally every time she has the opportunity to do better. The best part is, if she would’ve replied instead finally apologizing for the horrible way she made me and my parents feel, I would've forgiven her and probably taken down the review because people grow and everyone has a right to apologize for something they did. But that was not the case, this woman is narcissistic, cruel, childish, and as stressful as wedding planning is, you don’t want a person like her handling ANYTHING, you may get lucky and happen to want exactly what she wants, but if you happen to want something different that what SHE wants, there will be tears, there will be frustration and on one of the most important days of your life, there will be regret. Good luck to all you beautiful ladies if you happen to pick her as your photographer, I hope she treats you better than she treated me. Ps. Read the contract very very carefully, it’ll come back to EAT YOU not bite you. -
User2912513 Sent on 12/15/2016Alina and her team did an amazing job with my engagement and wedding photography in Nov.2016. It has to be said that I HATE taking pictures, so the idea of someone following me around all day gave me hives, lol. But Ali was a dream to work with! She was so much fun; she kept me laughing the whole time and I never really noticed when she snapping shots. The results are gorgeous. Her team also provided a photo STAGE for silly pictures during the reception which was a big hit with our guests. When I met with her, I was having my 1st of 2 bridal meltdowns because my planner went AWOL. Ali came to the rescue with a list of recommended vendors and planners that saved the day. If I hadn't met her that night, I probably wouldn't have canceled the wedding and gotten married at the courthouse. Thank you for your patience and encouragement! XOXO -
User1082394 Sent on 01/31/2013From the moment I got to Alina's office the day of our appointment, I knew we had found our photographer. She has the most adorable office in the heart of south miami (sunset place-ish) and you feel like you are in her home. When she interviews us as a couple I knew she was getting to know us to figure out where we would shoot our engagement session, and what our dynamic was. Working with her has been a joy and we could not be more happy with her work. Becky and Kayla are awesome too, we love them!

User964158 Sent on 10/08/2012Alina is the most amazing photographer. She is extremely professional and really was so easy to work with. She helped execute the vision I had for my engagement and boudoir session. She was very creative and really helped walk me through the whole process. I had never taken professional pictures before and was a little nervous about what positions and poses I should do. I also didn't know which outfits I should pick to go with the theme I selected. Her and her assistant Becky, helped walk me through the different outfit selections I should bring. They helped me put all my outfits together, from hair to jewelry to shoes. On the day of the shoot, they would show me all the poses all should do. This helped ease my nerves and made the process so easy and care free. The pictures came out AMAZING! I received so many compliments on the pictures. The guest book and boudoir album Alina and her staff put together were flawless. They were so well put together and excellent quality. For my wedding, Alina went above and beyond. She even helped get me dressed, because my mom was to nervous to remember how to do the corset of my dress. Alina was also able to give me so many ideas and suggestions for the wedding, from vendors I could use, to things to incorporate in the wedding. I am extremely pleased with her and her work. I can’t wait for my wedding album to arrive. I could go on and on about how amazing she is…her work is phenomenal. She is very patient, flexible and her work is like no other.
