    The best part about working with Alan was how easy-going and friendly he was. For the engagement shoot we did with Alan, it felt more like a good time out with a friend we had known a long time versus a photoshoot. We were nervous about not being able to "pose" or "look good" for a photo but we were able to just relax and be ourselves which made for the best pictures. He really captured "us". In addition, for two awkward people that would rather make practical jokes, Alan was capable of teasing out a beautiful and elegant wedding photo numerous times. He was able to capture moments that we missed the day of but can now experience through a pretty photo for a lifetime. We cannot thank Alan enough!

    Alan was absolutely incredible! We had several conversations leading up to the day of the photo shoot. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very pleasant and genuinely excited to work with us. When we met on the day of the shoot, he was even more wonderful. We took a ton of photos on the High Line and despite all the people around, it felt like a special, intimate experience with just my fiance and I. He directed us without making us feel like props. It was all very natural. We received the photos a week after the shoot and they are absolutely stunning and capture us perfectly as a couple. I would absolutely recommend hiring Alan for any event or milestone you want photographed. He is a pleasure to work with and one of the best photographers I have seen.

    Alan is a true professional. He has an eye and a vision like no other. I know there are other great photographers but I must say that Alan Abrams stands alone. He is "THE PHOTOGRAPHER". He will forever be ours. If you want sentimental photographic memories of a lifetime, Please give Alan a call.

    Alan Abrams is a lot more than just a photographer, he's a calming influence on one of the most stressful days that one will experience in life. We would recommend him to anyone who wants well crafted photography with personality and soul.

    Alan was very acomodating to our requests and ideas. We felt so comfortable in our engagement session. He was very patient to get the last shot that we wanted, we had a great time and got nice pictures. Alan has a lot I experience and we describe him as a photographer that "captures the moment" burbs right moment. Our wedding will live visually forever thanks to Alan's great photographs.

    We are very lucky to have found Alan Abrams as our wedding photographer! He not only photographed our wedding, but our engagement session as well. From our first meeting with Alan, we knew he was the right match for us. He was knowledgeable in his craft; creative, flexible, and made us feel very comfortable. He took the time to know us and our story.

    Our engagement session was amazing! We had the absolute best time in Central Park. And although it was in the middle of winter and freezing, Alan never rushed us but instead kept working to get the best shots. We were amazed at how comfortable we felt taking intimate shots in the middle of Central Park! Alan captured our story- our love. We will always have beautiful memories from that day.

    Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives and we are proud to say that Alan played a special part in this. He captured the laughs, tears, and joys of our special day. We look back at our pictures today and are in awe of our photographs. They are simply beautiful!

    We would highly recommend Alan as a wedding photographer. He was able to capture the special moments of our day. We can’t thank him enough and look forward to working with him in the future.

    Alan is an exquisite genius, our journey started when we entered his Valentine’s Day contest on facebook needless to say we were the blessed couple who won. We were completely nervous but Alan and Silke came out on a frigidly February cold NYC day and made us feel so warm and comfortable. Our engagement pictures were fantastic to say the least. I was completely amazed on how beautiful they were. On the same day without even seeing the pictures we knew that Alan was going to be our wedding day photographer; we felt it down in our cold bones (weather joke).
    There aren’t any words to describe how SUPERB our wedding day photos were. You can see Alan’s photography passion in every shot; they were vibrant, colorful and full of life. It’s amazing to see photos of moments that you remember so clearly but did not realize you were being photographed… that’s what Alan did for us; Alan captured every unique moment of our wedding. I hear compliments everyday on the astonishing work that Alan did for us. Someone said to me “If you want to believe in love and get married people just need to look at your pictures” that is a testament on how beautiful Alan made us look. We highly recommend Alan who was our photographer and guru on our wedding day. We look forward in working with him again- just the thought makes us smile.

    Alan did an AMAZING job photographing our wedding, we could not be happier! He offers great products and reasonable prices and he really knows his stuff. Between our engagement session and the wedding, you are surely receiving a great value. We will be using Alan again in the future!

    I would recommend Alan Abrams wholeheartedly and without reservation. He worked efficiently, creatively, and unobtrusively. He photographed all the family shots without fuss, simply snapping away, and the results were phenomenal. Everyone was relaxed, and happy. He is very creative and did some extraordinary photos with backlighting. He also captured the fun moments of the event. He was totally flexible and easy to work with. He did pre-wedding photos of the bride and groom which they used in a guest book. Very fun. He's an extraordinarily talented photographer. By the way, he drove to CT three times. Once to meet us, second for the engagement shoot, and third, for the wedding, so talk to him even if you think you live too far away from L.I.

    Alan is amazing! We can't say enough great things about him! Our story could have been a nightmare when it comes to photographers - we started off with one who ended up being extremely unresponsive, so basically 3.5 months before the wedding I was in a panic and started re-looking for photographers. I hadn't found Alan on the first search, bt I'm SO happy I did on the second! Not only was Alan super responsive from the beginning, he took wonderful photos both at our engagement shoot as well as at the wedding. I never knew we could look that good! At the wedding itself, Alan was a wonderful photographer, to the point where people didn't even realize he was there for most of it, despite the fact that he was able to get photos of almost everyone! Alan was extremely flexible, enthusiastic, and a great person to work with. I look forward to sharing his talent with friends in the area for their weddings (and already have recommended him to a couple of friends) and (hopefully!) having him involved in other major life events for us in the future!

    Alan was truly wonderful. He never pushed to do trite poses and was so laid back and easy going that everyone around him felt comfortable. He does a more photo journalistic spread which I thought really caught the essence of the day. And he was willing to take risks to get the shot just right.

    My favorite part was that we didn't spend fifty billion hours taking photos- he was quick and kept everyone up in spirits. He understood exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I'd recommend him to everyone!

    Al is an amazing Photographer! He did me and my Husband's engagement photos, and without a doubt, we wanted to hire him to travel to Savannah, GA, to shoot our wedding. Al went above and beyond to capture all the highlights of our wedding weekend! He was present at our Rehearsal/Luncheon, as well as the day spa while myself and the bridesmaids got ready. He spent time taking several still shots while we prepared for the day, so that we could remember the venue and all the small details. He did get several great shots throughout the entire wedding day, and I was so excited at how quickly he was able to send us the link with our proofs! :)
