  Michel at A Modern Romance Photography has been absolutely wonderful! She is very talented and has been professional throughout the process. Over the course of a few weeks she was easy to talk to and keep in contact with me up until the day of our engagement photo shoot. We kept in contact via email and she was able to help us choose where to have our photo shoot and what theme we should have based off of our hobbies.
  
  We were able to have a cute picnic at one of the beaches in LA. We hauled a bunch of little doodads to help set the scene and Michel just used her magic to make everything presentable.
  
  My fiance and I have never had a professional photo shoot before so we were nervous but Michel was able to make us feel at ease. She was able to tell us what to do or what poses to make while still letting us be ourselves making the photos more candid.
  
  We were able to receive around 100 edited photos about 1-2 weeks after the shoot and they were beautiful. I showed them to my mom and she said "pretty" for almost every photo.
  
  I can't wait to use these photos for our wedding invitations and I highly recommend Michel for your engagement and wedding needs!

  Absolutely perfect!

  If you're looking for a photographer, look no further than Michel Pinto of A Modern Romance Photography. She is timely with her responses, and from the first time meeting her, we knew we were in good hands. She is very accommodating and sweet, but she can also hold her own when your family members try to call the shots. She also took our engagement pictures, which turned out amazing. We just got a sneak peek of our wedding photos and we can't wait to see the rest. Michel has a great eye, is creative, and perfectly captures emotions in her photos. Give her a shot!

  Michel is AMAZING!!!

  Where do I even begin with this review!? Michel was truly AMAZING! Not only did she show up early to view the venue and take pictures, she stayed a little bit later to ensure she captured every moment. I'm by far the least photogenic person however Michel was super awesome at making me feel comfortable while taking the pictures. Since I know nothing of photography, I let Michel guide us through the best spots to take photos. This was a fantastic idea since Michel has a keen eye on what spot would be best and what pose to do. She made our Wedding stress-free and super fun! At the end of the day, we got TONS of amazing pictures because Michel and her partner were terrific at their job! Not only would I recommend them to all of my friends and family, if I ever need a photographer they will be the first ones I think of. Thank you for being so awesome!

  Amazing photographer!

  Michel was an amazing wedding photographer! She was really flexible and was patient with the whole bridal party as we were arriving to the venue and getting ready. She was also really chill and excited to take pictures of our special event. My husband and I looked through many other photographers' portfolio, but Michel was the one that stuck out the most! I'm really glad we chose her to capture our special day.

  I hired Michel to take photos when I proposed to my fiancé. She was wonderful to work with. She was sweet and kind. She kept everyone away to get the perfect shot when I proposed and even found an found an additional place to take pictures at my chosen location. It was a private balcony and she found someone to open it up. Beautiful photos and a reasonable price. I could not have been happier with Michel!!!

  We looked through I want to say hundreds of wedding photographer websites before we found Michel. My husband does photography as a hobby and was very particular in finding the right photographer. What drew us to Michel was her balance between photojournalism pictures (capturing those candid moments) and the classic (what he considered cliche posed) pictures. He also preferred the professional post-production look rather than the trendy Instagram-filter-style that seems to be so common nowadays. Personality-wise we can’t say how wonderful she was to work with. She was so sweet and accommodating, yet very detailed orientated. She worked with us on our wedding timeline to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted. We are definitely an “awkward, but cute” couple in front of the camera and she helped us relax and guide us during our engagement photo session. We had a really long (and hot!) wedding day and she was right with us the entire time. When we got the final album we were blown away with the images as the pictures definitely brought us back to that moment in time and allowed us relive the day all over again. It was wonderful having Michel be a part of our day and we would definitely recommend Michel to all our friends and family.

  Michel is amazing!!! Her pictures are beautiful! She was so helpful before the wedding, and then at the wedding she helped us keep everything on track. She caught great candids as well as beautifully posed pictures. We were so pleased with her and highly recommend her.

  Michel was great to work with : she is an intuitive person that seems very excited about her work while remaining centered and I appreciate her interest in doing things well.
  
  I am pretty sure it took me at least a day if not a week sometimes to respond to her emails and this never seemed to be a big problem. (We were stressed!) She tried to send us sample timelines and notes on how to prepare for the day and the best pictures which was really appreciated because we had no idea what we were doing! Also, four days before our engagement shoot, we changed locations on her when we found this really (really) beautiful garden kind of near our house, and she was super accommodating about it.
  
  As far as the photos go: One of my husband's guests was trying to take pictures during the wedding and because the reception was indoors and a little dark in some spots he had a lot of trouble taking all the pictures he wanted and went through Michel's with us and said she did a wonderful job. Besides that, some of the photos she took at certain moments during the ceremony were so lovely that I know we will love looking at them until we die.
  
  Here's why I thought she was stellar!:
  1. My husband drank a little too much with his best friends before our pre-wedding shoot; and Michel graciously drove him to the shoot location in her car (that was unplanned, and she totally didn't have to, and it was amazing that she did.)
  2. During portrait photos after the ceremony, I was VERY stressed (lots of people! lots of stand and smiles)-- and a little cranky, and Michel was SUPER patient/ super focused and positive while trying to get the people together for the pictures knowing that I asked her to take them when I was in a more sane state.
  3. She stayed late without complaint and totally our fault (Photographers work hard- I didn't even think of it- On their feet all day!)
  4. She sent our photos to us pretty quickly (within 1 and a half months during holidays).

  We had a great experience working with A Modern Romance Photography and would recommend this photographer to our friends. She is very accommodating and takes beautiful pictures. We had looked into many photographers for our big day, which was a tedious and exhausting process, what we found was that most LA based wedding photographers were hideously over charging people OR the more affordable ones were not very good. We went with A Modern Romance because she was the best of both worlds, really fair pricing with gorgeous pictures and styling. We are grateful we went with this photographer.
