The Green Mountain Inn has a special place in our hearts and you feel that as soon as you get there. It has everything you need all in one place, amazing venue, great location, incredible food, attentive staff, free parking, no transportation needed, and comfortable lodging for all guests. We had the most amazing wedding weekend and we are so glad we chose GMI as our venue! The Inn has such rich character and charm, it is so romantic. It was absolutely perfect and we were in such good hands making sure everything ran smoothly. 10/10 experience, completely recommend!

I had wanted to get married at Trapp for as long as I can remember. The mountain backdrop is unforgettable and the entire property grounds are beautiful. From start to finish, everyone at Trapp was so kind, helpful, responsive and professional. The wedding coordinators at Trapp, Saunie and Caroline, are very experienced and organized and know what it takes to make sure you have the best day of your lives. They also just truly care about you. Our wedding day was so stress-free because they took care of everything behind the scenes. The food was excellent, with many options for you to choose from. Our guests are still raving about our wedding. I would have no hesitation recommending Trapp Family Lodge for anyone else's wedding. Thank you to everyone at Trapp!

My husband and I discovered Tälta after staying at another bluebird property in Saratoga. After getting engaged we decided to take a few days to look at venues throughout northern VT. I recommended we book a room at Tälta (that "cool hotel we wanted to check out"), not realizing it would up being our venue. When we walked into the lobby we were immediately taken back by the comfortable atmosphere and gorgeous property. Before we could finish our check in process we found ourselves asking if they did weddings. I can't emphasis enough just how much fun we had planning our wedding with the Tälta crew. Olivia, Sarah and Mike were communicative, creative, flexible, supportive and more. We ended up doing a property buy out so that we could have as many of our guests stay on the property as possible, which made the weekend all the more intimate, personal and just plain fun. Olivia and Sarah also helped us set up an additional room block with their sister property, Cady Hill Lodge for guest overflow, and we planned our welcome drinks at their other sister property, Field Guide Lodge. It made coordination of logistics so much easier, giving us the head space to focus on some of the more fun details of the weekend! We’ve had numerous people tell us that our wedding was the most fun and special wedding they’ve been to. Everyone loved being on the property - from the beautiful common spaces, to the amazing outdoor space, it was truly the perfect set up. Have your wedding at Tälta - the space is incredible, and the team you get to work with is even better!

Timothy and Lori Clippinger Wedding, Dec. 11, 2009. Erich and Caroline made this the most Romantic, Elegant, Memorable, Beautiful, EVER. From start to finish, they helped us create the most amazing wedding, we couldn't have done it without them or anywhere else. Stowe Meadows was the PERFECT location, all weekend. Erich cooked all our meals and knew just what we wanted and when. Yes, The Hen of The Woods, you have to eat there and make it your anniversary spot also. Lori and I would recommend Stowe Meadows to Everyone, we wouldn't have been married anywhere else. We are their best word of mouth advertisement. If you don't go you will never know!

We celebrated our marriage on 9/24/22 with a mountainside ceremony at the base of Spruce Peak. Our reception was at Spruce Camp with an after party at Whistle Pig. The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, with a view of Mt Mansfield in the background as we exchanged vows. The reception was the perfect venue for our crowd of roughly 200 and the food was incredible! The after party at the Whistle Pig was so cozy with an outdoor fire, blankets, and lots of snacks inside. We really enjoyed working with the folks at the Lodge to ensure our perfect day was… truly perfect! (We had our rehearsal dinner at the golf club & welcome party at Alpine Club.)

We took over all the rooms at Edson Hill for our guests for our mid-September wedding weekend and hosted our Friday night welcome BBQ and Saturday post-wedding pizza & s’mores after party there. We could not recommend Edson Hill more highly, both as a place to stay and as a venue to host a large wedding event. Edson Hill is a really special place, and Jesse, Kristen and the entire staff are wonderful people. The setting is idyllic Vermont at its best – rolling hillsides covered in foliage, a winding dirt road that takes you up to the main house, beautiful grounds to walk around on and so on. The rooms have been recently updated and are beautifully and luxuriously done, incredibly comfortable and reasonably priced for what they offer (we have stayed in both the Manor House rooms and some of the guest house rooms, and they’re all great). The food is some of the best we’ve had in Vermont or anywhere for that matter (we are from New York but spend a lot of time at my parents’ home in Vermont) – and amazingly the delicious meals we had experienced in the Edson Hill restaurant and at our tasting translated into equivalently delicious food done for 100+ people at our Friday night BBQ. Our guests raved about Edson Hill throughout the weekend – everyone loved their rooms, loved that everyone staying there was part of the wedding party and couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. I think many of our guests who had never been to Stowe are already planning second visits to stay at Edson Hill! A bit more on the Edson Hill staff – they were exceptional to work with leading up to the wedding, brought fantastic ideas to the table in terms of food and wine selection and made our tastings so fun and special. They did so many things over the course of the weekend to help make it even more special than it already was for us and our guests. Thank you so much Jesse and the entire Edson Hill team! We are so grateful to you for hosting us and can’t wait to be back!

Our July wedding at the Lodge at Spruce Peak was absolutely amazing. We even heard from a few guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. A major reason for this was the stunning venue!! Photos of our ceremony on the ballroom terrace turned out absolutely gorgeous. From our welcome party the day before our wedding, to the after party after our wedding, we had a fantastic experience! The entire Spruce Peak Team was nothing but professional, and kind throughout our entire weekend. The food was fantastic, and we received many comments on how much our guests enjoyed the food too! Our day of coordinator Brigitte was extremely pleasant, organized, and very helpful. We were very thankful to have her there with us on the big day! We would definitely recommend The Lodge at Spruce Peak to host a wedding!

My husband and I live in Maryland, but wanted to do a destination wedding in Vermont. After searching for a while, we finally stumbled upon the Timberholm Inn, and we're so glad we did. Valerie made us feel so comfortable from the moment we first made contact with her and continued making us feel at ease through the entire wedding process. She was very responsive and helpful in answering our countless questions along the way. She was also a great help in going to the Vermont Tent Company show room with us and helping to ensure we got everything we needed rental wise for our big day. The venue is BEAUTIFUL. The outside area for ceremony and reception is beautifully landscaped with an amazing mountain view. The inside of the Inn has that perfect cozy rustic Vermont vibe and was exactly what we were looking for. We had our wedding party and friends stay at the Inn which was very convenient. The breakfast that Valerie serves each morning is fantastic! Pro tip: the house next door is available for rent on VRBO. We had family stay there and it worked out perfectly! We also hired Valerie to be our day of coordinator which proved to be a great choice. We did a lot of DIY stuff, and she was great at directing the set-up of everything. She even let us use pumpkins and mums that she had on her front porch as decorations-- it made a very nice touch! Overall, I can not say enough good things about the Timberholm and Valerie.

We had the absolute best wedding at Topnotch with Liz and her entire team. The grounds and tent are absolutely stunning and it was a perfect weekend getaway for guests with so much to do in the area. The event team, from welcome party through the farewell brunch, was so accommodating. For such an efficient and well organized event team, I had never expected how kind and genuine the entire staff was - totally opposite of “wedding factory vibe”. I believe the chef, Dustin, is relatively new to Topnotch but comes with so much experience. His creations were DELICIOUS and he was super accommodating during the planning process.

I can’t say enough great things about our experience with Alyssa and the Stowehof! My husband and I have been coming up to Stowe for years and knew we wanted to get married up there (we’re from MA). We looked at a few venues and the Stowehof stood out immediately and just felt so special. Molly at the front desk was AWESOME and though we didn’t get to meet Alyssa the wedding coordinator that day - after just talking with Molly who has been at the Stowehof for years - we knew right away this was where we wanted to have our wedding. We loved that our guests could all stay on the property and be together. Because of COVID we had to adjust our plans this year but Alyssa and Melissa were SO accommodating and flexible and worked really closely with us to make sure our weekend was still perfect. It was honestly better than I ever imagined and we had the most perfect, intimate wedding. Originally we were going to get married at the Stowehof, but because our wedding was a lot different and smaller than originally planned, we were able to have the ceremony on Mt Mansfield and then dinner at the Hof. The entire weekend was so fun because our group of 26 was able to hang out near the honeymoon suite (which is INCREDIBLE, beautiful and spacious with a huge outdoor deck) and feel like we had our own little private area of the hotel. They also were super accommodating as we were trying to save on our budget this year and allowed us to bring our own tent and set it up (luckily we have some amazing friends who know how to do that). Kyle the chef is AMAZING and his food is sooo good - all of our guests were obsessed. Dave the bar manager was super sweet as well and all of the staff are so professional and made our wedding so special. As we were traveling from MA, all of our guests tested negative for COVID prior to coming up to Stowe which really made a huge difference and helped everyone to have fun while being safe. I can’t say thank you enough to Alyssa who is so responsive, professional and so sweet- she really is awesome and went above and beyond for us. If you are considering the Stowehof for your wedding I would 1000% recommend!!! We can’t wait to come back and celebrate with our all of our family and friends next summer!!
