Russell was wonderful for our wedding! Played music we loved, was a wonderful host for all of the ceremony events, we absolutely loved working with him from the initial phone call all the way through our wedding day.

Bottom line up front: Lumen Entertainment and Bryan in particular are stellar, utmost professionals, and choosing them was the best investment into the night of our wedding that we could have asked for. In 2022 we had an amazing experience with Bryan (MC) and Xavier (DJ) for our wedding event in Boerne. We have a few stories.. First, we had planned to speak with several DJ/production companies during the planning phase and our wedding planner suggested Lumen because she had just recently worked with them and it was a great experience. After the first meeting with them we were convinced by Bryan that it would be a good fit and decided to go with them right away. Fast-forward to wedding day and we were so glad we did. Not only can Bryan and company talk the talk during the consultation period, but they deliver on everything they promised, and all the way through they maintained responsiveness and professionalism. So many people mentioned that it was the best-run wedding dance party they had been to and we were even blown away by how much energy Bryan and Xavier brought to the event, and how much energy they drew out of our guests. We had a few "special requests" of Bryan during our event. We had a live musician playing our lead-up to the ceremony and I also planned a serenade during the reception. Bryan answered all of our A/V questions and saw to it that they were met. We also had some cultural dances that not every MC would know how to manage, and Bryan ran it perfectly and asked all the right questions about how to do it. Everything went off without a hitch and there was never any question that A/V wouldn't be covered. Last story which speaks volumes about who Lumen Events is as a company and who Bryan is as a person -- our wedding arch broke due to wind shortly before our event and Bryan was nearby setting up A/V along with some of our friends helping out. Without hesitation Bryan saw the crisis and stepped in --> apparently he doesn't travel anywhere without his tools and he repaired the arch with the help of our friends finding some wood to replace the broken pieces. We were none the wiser until our friends told us post-ceremony -- this speaks volumes of Bryan's humble character and the ownership he takes over events he is a part of. He truly went above and beyond, and the fact that he did not make a big deal of his deed also shows that while his charisma can truly command a crowd, he doesn't center the spotlight on himself. He gives everything he can to the event and uses his talent to raise others up and I think that's am amazing quality to have as an MC. For practical matters -- the song request system is simple enough to use and while it doesn't catalog every song it was easy to request songs not included in the database. The songs we/the guests wanted to hear were all played and Xavier did a great job of including other songs that fit our tastes and made the genres flow into each other very well through the night. We couldn't be more grateful to Bryan and his team, and we are still reeling from how awesome he helped make our wedding day.

Tavyn & Cutting Edge Entertainment were absolutely wonderful. Our ceremony and reception were spectacular; they played our requested songs, stuck to the percentage of certain genres we wanted played, and overall, our DJ (Tavyn) was great in his interactions with the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor.

DJ Milton is honestly the best DJ I have ever worked with. I originally found him while searching on Facebook, and even though my post was flooded with recommendations, DJ Milton immediately stood out. His pricing is reasonable, his setup is incredible, and after our consultation, it was clear he was the perfect fit for us. Milton was extremely accommodating with our timeline and such a friendly, genuine person to work with. During the reception, he read the room perfectly and kept our guests dancing all night long. I’m still getting compliments about how amazing his setup looked! His style is classy without being boring, and fun without ever feeling cringey (sorry, dancing robot). Truly the best of both worlds. And the CO₂ cannons? An absolute MUST—they took our reception to a whole new level! If you’re looking for a DJ who truly cares about your guests and your entire experience, book DJ Milton. You won’t regret it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, Nate completely surpassed all our expectations. He was professional, attentive, and so in tune with the energy of the room. Every song choice was spot on from the cocktail hour to the final dance. The transitions were seamless, and the dance floor was never empty. We’re beyond grateful for the role Nate played in making our wedding so joyful and memorable. The DJ was on point on every hit and beat. The music was just what we needed and ask for our wedding. Even when we had the San Antonio Spurs Coyote he had every song perfect that you would hear if the Coyote was the spurs court during a game to get the guests pump up and ready to celebrate our wedding. The set was perfect to see our name on his staging.

Patrick was a delight to work with. I met with him once before the wedding and he showed such an interest in not only my fiance and I but also to the details of the wedding, and the feel we were going for. I knew from the first meeting that Patrick was the perfect choice for us. He was very specific and wanting to know our favorite genres of music and the different music we wanted at the different parts of the wedding (cocktail hour, reception, etc.). He also was awesome in helping me start the day of timeline by giving me his expertise on how weddings usually flow and giving suggestions to help me arrange the night better. All things that I needed and was so grateful he was willing to give advice on! After our initial meeting I was able to email Patrick and give him a general list of songs that we liked to give him the feel of what we were going for as well as specific songs we wanted played. Patrick was even flexible with us that the day before the wedding when my husband to be asked to change our first dance song to end after the first chorus, and Patrick had no problem accommodating this for us and making our song and dance be perfect the day of. I am so happy we went with Patrick as he kept our guests dancing all night and made our night truly special!

DJ Fred was absolutely fantastic to work with! The team was very responsive and easy to work with. He assured me he had a large library of songs and definitely delivered on it. Everyone really enjoyed the music selection during the reception and cocktail portion! You can sit back and rest easy with Fred on your side.

Chris was absolutely amazing to work with! He was easy to communicate with, organized and knew all the right questions to ask to ensure we had an amazing, seamless day! He did a great job at every portion of our wedding from ceremony to reception. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to be our DJ! Book with them, you won’t regret it!
