We eloped only days ago at Harmony Gardens in Saylorsburg, PA with Lois Heckman as our officiant. Her property is a perfectly curated place of serenity and love, it feels like a true oasis nestled away from the world. We felt SO welcome there, so happy, so at ease. Meeting Lois was so zen. Clicked with her right away. We had so many similar views of the world and I was so excited to have someone like her taking us to married life! Words could not possibly do this woman justice for what she provided for us on our wedding day. I didn’t know it was possible for an elopement to be as incredible and powerful with deep meaning as it was. The vows she wrote for us touched us so deeply!! She made this day so special and we never could have had this experience with anyone else, ever. She is truly the best. We contacted her Oct 3 2025 and were married Oct 14 2025. With how spectacular our day was you would have thought this was planned for months. She is phenomenal, efficient, professional, smart, down to earth, and kind. Thank you so much for giving me the happiest memory of my lifetime, looking deep into my new husband’s eyes and saying “I do!”

Lois radiates such kindness and passion that we instantly knew we were talking to the person who would best capture the essence of our love story. After our first meeting, we realized we didn’t want to wait another year to be husband and wife. We asked Lois if she could marry us on October 6th, exactly one year from the date we had chosen for our upcoming wedding celebration, and to our surprise, she was more than happy to do so! We eloped at Harmony Gardens, the beautiful home and property of Lois, her kind husband, and their two adorable springers. It was a short, sweet ceremony and was more than we ever imagined because it was officiated by Lois. Going into the ceremony shared among family and friends, we wanted an alternative to traditional wedding vows. Lois not only understood our vision but also exceeded our expectations by crafting something that felt as intimate and heartfelt as if we had written it ourselves, if not even better. Her words captured the depth of our connection, the humor and quirks of our relationship, and were a true reflection of our love story. To be joined together once more by this remarkable person in the presence of our loved ones made our special day even more meaningful and unforgettable. Thank you for everything, Lois!

Shayla was so amazing. We had a few zoom calls prior to the ceremony where she really got to learn about our relationship and why we each love each other. She then weaved these facts into a beautiful theme and story for us. I can’t tell you how many people shared that they LOVED the ceremony portion and how “me” it was. I truly felt reflected in all that we worked to create together. It was so special as we weaved in different elements of breath, and pause, and handwashing and braiding. It was Godly and spiritual and beautiful!!
