Lois radiates such kindness and passion that we instantly knew we were talking to the person who would best capture the essence of our love story. After our first meeting, we realized we didn’t want to wait another year to be husband and wife. We asked Lois if she could marry us on October 6th, exactly one year from the date we had chosen for our upcoming wedding celebration, and to our surprise, she was more than happy to do so! We eloped at Harmony Gardens, the beautiful home and property of Lois, her kind husband, and their two adorable springers. It was a short, sweet ceremony and was more than we ever imagined because it was officiated by Lois.

Going into the ceremony shared among family and friends, we wanted an alternative to traditional wedding vows. Lois not only understood our vision but also exceeded our expectations by crafting something that felt as intimate and heartfelt as if we had written it ourselves, if not even better. Her words captured the depth of our connection, the humor and quirks of our relationship, and were a true reflection of our love story.

To be joined together once more by this remarkable person in the presence of our loved ones made our special day even more meaningful and unforgettable.

This is an amazing place to have a small intimate ceremony. Everything was perfect and Lois was so accommodating. She conducted such a good ceremony and went above and beyond! We had a rainy day but they have a beautiful covered gazebo. She even helped me clean my wedding dress after I got mud on it! ❤️ I highly recommend using her services! Thanks again Lois!

We booked harmony gardens for our Fall elopement and we could not be more pleased. The gardens and grounds are stunning and made for gorgeous photos (thank you Mackey photography). The flowers, trees, pond and scenery will set the stage for a perfect wedding. But I must say, the best part of this venue is Lois!!! She was a kind beautiful soul who fulfilled our last minute wedding day needs. She really makes you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommend. If you’re lucky her dogs will visit your photo shoot! We have nothing but amazing things to say about Harmony Gardens!! Lois took our wedding to the next level, by making it very personal and about us and what we wanted. If you are looking for a small wedding, Harmony Gardens is the perfect place. We really couldn't have asked for anyone better to do our ceremony and there wasn't a thing that we would have changed!!

We went against the grain and had an outdoor ceremony in the middle of January - and yes it snowed on our wedding day! The pictures of Harmony gardens do not do it justice. Lois and her husband have created a truly beautiful and natural venue for the non-traditional couple. While most couples enjoy the gardens in the warmer months we had the pleasure of a beautifully intimate ceremony on a dark, quiet, snowy evening with a group of our closest friends and family. The ceremony took place under their rustic wooden pavilion, which is softly lit and is paved with stone, to keep everyone covered due to the precipitation. I very honestly cannot recommend this location enough for a smaller wedding.

Beautiful venue, absolutely perfect for my small wedding. The pictures online were beautiful, but somehow the garden was even more gorgeous in person. Cannot recommend enough!

We cannot say enough about how incredible Lois Heckman and her ceremony site at Harmony Gardens were for our special day! From our very first call to discuss what we were looking for - to the ceremony on our wedding day, everything was perfect! Lois outlined all of our options, pricing, and accommodations, and she stuck to every detail we discussed. On our wedding day guests were so impressed with the grounds of Harmony gardens - it was beautiful even in the winter! They have pathways perfectly lined with flowers and trees, seating benches, and a small pond - all perfect for photos after the ceremony!! Harmony gardens offered a bridal suite for me to dress in my gown, and a small lounge with restrooms for the guests before the ceremony.

You can absolutely tell that Lois takes great time and detail in planning the ceremony - she truly loves what she does! She asked for our input for the style that we wanted, allowing our input every step of the way - and she nailed it. Our guests raved about the special way she reflected our family and our marriage. We are so thankful we chose to have Lois officiate our wedding at Harmony Gardens!

We got married on 8/6/16 and cannot say enough about how perfect Harmony Gardens and Lois Heckman were for our wedding. We had a small wedding of 33 guests including myself and my fiancé and for months we were searching for the right venue with much frustration. Most other wedding venues were too expensive or simply did not cater to small weddings at all. Then we found Harmony Gardens and fell in love with it right away. The garden itself is amazingly beautiful with plenty of spots for gorgeous pictures and an atmosphere of love and joy sown right into the soil! You can trust the pictures you see above! It really does look just like that, no other decorations needed! Their friendly springer spaniels are a lovely bonus!

Of course for us the most important part of the wedding was the actual content of the ceremony. We wanted a meaningful ceremony that really reflected who we are as a couple and Lois did this for us beautifully. She is very professional and knowledgeable, making it easy for us to choose the elements we wanted to include in our ceremony. She was also highly responsive during the planning often times answering emails within the hour or less. Her flexibiliy helped keep everything moving along smoothly on the wedding day.
