David Coulter was amazing! He was very communicative and professional from the beginning and was able to handle a 400 person wedding by himself. We worked well with our videographer and the pictures were beautiful. He established a timeline with time the day of so all pictures would get done on time and he made me feel at ease the day off . I Would recommend him to anyone!

Everything about working with David was perfect, I can't recommend him enough! David photographed our wedding on July 2nd and not only was he timely and professional in his communication with me, but he is honestly one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever worked with. Not to mention the photos, which were amazing! He captured the most incredible moments of not only my husband and me but of all the guests. We will treasure his photos forever. Also, he edited the photos and gave us access to them within two weeks! We were amazed at the quality and speed of his work. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to photograph your event!

My husband and I were married at Skytop Lodge,Pa.. David was amazing! He was a pleasure to work with, he knew the best spots to take us and our wedding party for the perfect portraits. We did not hire a videographer, David captured our day perfectly. He was everywhere, we have so many great photos of everyone! Our guests even commented on how nice, quick, and efficient he was. I am very excited to print my albums!!! Highly reccomend him!

David was our photographer for our wedding this month and he is just wonderful! He is so helpful even with helping my bridesmaids tie the bow on my dress haha. Hes really a delight to work with and takes wonderful pictures. He works with you to make your pictures exactly what you want. Would definitely recommend him as your photographer!

I was so nervous about hiring a photographer for our wedding.
When I met David Coulter, I knew he was the perfect photographer for us. From looking at his website, I already knew he was a beautiful photographer capturing the "life" of any event he shoots. Upon meeting him, my husband and I were really struck by his laid back and friendly personality, his calming demeanor and his professionalism.
He had GREAT advice about how to make the most of his services and our time on our wedding day when it came to photographs. He was enthusiastic about what we planned for our wedding day.
On our wedding day, at no time did he become the center of attention as some photographers do... you know, up on the altar, telling bridesmaid's to fix the bride's hair, dress, etc. He knew we were simply looking for someone to capture this big party with his artistic eye and camera. From the moment he arrived to take "getting ready" shots, he made me feel at ease and even more excited about the day.
I LOVE the photos from our wedding. Our family loves the photos of our wedding. David preserved our day on film masterfully. I am still amazed how he managed to be in so many different places at once to snap: my nephew and I high-fiving after he drove the paddle boat under a water fountain, my boss and his wife dancing up a storm, the full moon and sparklers, my great uncle and his namesake nephew, and a few people dancing on tables and chairs. There are lots of photos of kisses that my husband and I thought we were stealing when no one was looking. I never knew I was being photographed. That, to me, is the mark of an amazing photographer.
We are so appreciative for David being a part of our wedding day. At the end of the night, we asked to pose in a picture with him. (He handed off his camera to a very trusted friend.) The photo of the three of us is as much a part of the happy memories of the day as many others.

We got married on June 9, 2012 and could not be happier with our choice of photographers. David went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. We ended up with over 600 beautiful pictures that captured our special day wonderfully. David was easy to get along with, catered to what we wanted and was very pleasant to work with. The quality of the pictures is phenomenal, many of them we didn't even realize he took. He captured the numerous details that went into the planning but that we didn't necessarily see or remember until we saw the photos. There is no doubt in our minds that if we ever need a photographer, David will be our first call!! He also did a fantastic job of getting photos of all of our guests and the pictures truly showed everyone enjoying the celebration without us even knowing he was there. We highly recommend David for anyone's choice when a photographer is needed. We could go on and on about how much we enjoyed working with him and how much we love the photos. My husband and I got married in early October, 2011. We found David here on weddingwire.com. I was looking for a photojournalist to shoot our wedding, and his website was just stunning. I contacted David through e-mail, and he was very quick to respond. My husband is from Canada, so I knew after our marriage we would be going through immigration and I would be moving to Canada too. I knew that I needed flexibility with my wedding photographer because I didn't need a lot of things that other brides need, like albums or even actual prints. Really, I just needed beautiful pictures on a digital format, the rights to use them and fast turn around so I could include them in our immigration application. At the same time, I also didn't want my photographer "getting in the way" and I wanted to enjoy my day, to which David more than agreed.

Come the wedding day, David made the trip to Dalton, PA, which is slightly farther than he normally would go, and he was just as nice in person as he was through our e-mail correspondence (no, we didn't meet beforehand). He felt like an old friend come to take our picture. He melted into the background when needed, and yet, was right there getting all the important moments. He had no problems taking pictures on the fly either. I remember during some of the requested posed shots I saw my Aunt, cousin and her daughter walking away hand in hand, and I just thought it would be the cutest picture, so I stopped David and said "can you get that shot?". He took off running, just to make sure he got the shot I wanted. And it came out absolutely adorable, but that's the type of photographer he is, he is gracious and accommodating. On a few occasions we had to go back outside for a few more posed shots, and he never had any issues with doing that, right down to the requested last shot of my husband and I walking away into the sunset. David was just wonderful.

At the end of the day David did verify with us that we needed a fast turn around, and chatted with us about the immigration process we were about to undertake. My husband was very impressed with him and on more than one occasion remarked how much he enjoyed speaking with him. Then the very next day, David called, and surprisingly, he had already got our photos ready for us. He had gone home, and prepared them right after our wedding. We were able to pick up the disks (it was on the way to our honeymoon location otherwise he would have mailed them for us) just two short days after the wedding. That was stunning, and very much appreciated. Because of David we were able to get our immigration package in much faster than we anticipated. And the photos are fantastic. They tell the story of my wedding day. They are real and beautiful, and perfect. I really can't thank David enough. I would recommend David in a heartbeat.

David Coulter has lived up to everything a venue can hope for in a preferred vendor. David is an example of a true professional; his flexibility, kindness and consistency has made our jobs as wedding coordinators an enjoyable experience!

In my opinion the photographer is the most important person you will hire for your wedding. The day will come and go but the photos will allow you to look back on your special day forever. David was great. He provided the perfect mixture of candid and portrait style pictures. He captured moments that would have been otherwise impossible for me to see. David was also very discreet. I highly recomend him for a any wedding. You will not be disappointed.
