Wonderful!

Our wedding at the French Manor was beautiful! Bridget went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She was professional and responsive to our questions throughout the entire process. Our family and friends loved the manor and all of the staff, including those who catered our dinner. They were not only professional and efficient, but they were friendly and kind. The manor is a wonderful place to get married!

We enjoyed the history of this location for our elopement with its wood-frame/stone construction and scenic views. The staff allowed us to view the grounds prior to our wedding weekend and during the weekend of our stay, all of the coordinators did their best to set up the ceromony to our liking and serve us in a romantic way. We enjoyed the turn down service, breakfast and tea time accommodations. The spa massages were relaxing and we look forward to viewing the photos of our special day. The only thing that we weren’t expecting during the month of January in the Turret suite was the presence of some small critters trying to get out of the cold and the difficulty to constantly heat the space. Overall, the trip was worth it and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Perfect perfect! Can’t say anything bad about this venue. I’d highly recommend for anything from an elopement to moderate sized wedding with guests. We stayed in the Versailles bridal suite. It was amazing. Give this venue five stars.

Bridget and her entire team were amazing for the day of our not so small (130 Guests) wedding! We stumbled upon the French Manor Inn as we were driving home from visiting another wedding venue. We didn’t have an appointment and Bridget wasn’t available but the young man at the front desk was so sweet. He took it upon himself to give us a complete tour of the grounds and showed us some of the beautiful suites. At that moment, we were sold. We booked the entire resort for Friday and Saturday night. We had our initial meeting with Bridget and she was such a breath of fresh air and so sweet to us. She was accommodating in every way and worked with us to create the exact menu we wanted as well as countless things I’m sure I am forgetting! Even when we originally stated we would have 100 guests but ended up with 130, Bridget kept me calm and ensured us we would have the room to fit everyone in the dining room and the stone patio. She was always responsive to my questions and she always seem to have great/fun suggestions such as having an outdoor fire to toast marshmallows after our rehearsal dinner! Throughout the process, any of the staff we ran into were extremely personable and friendly so I would like to give them a shoutout! Nicole, who was always helpful with the room reservations as well as helping Bridget on the wedding day. Jude and Svetlana and others in the dining room who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to tend to our guests. My guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food and service. Denise went above and beyond for us and brought in a beautiful piece of personal décor that she thought would suit our design. She was always smiling and I remember her chatting with my guests during breakfast like they were family. And last but certainly not least, Bridget thank you from the bottom of our hearts for pulling off the wedding weekend we envisioned. It truly was a wedding for the books!

What a wonderful place to have a celebration! The French Manor is a beautiful little gem in the Pocono's. This quiet setting is remote and extremely intimate. My wife and I were taken care of from the very first moment we toured the Inn right up until checkout when we were treated with a nice gift. We had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, which was swiftly taken care of without even the slightest hint of stress. We had banquet tables and room for dancing on the patio with beautiful grounds to enjoy when the sun came out. Our Brazilian dinner requests were carried out with the expertise of a very knowledgeable staff. our Brazilian relatives praised the chefs, as they felt like they were home enjoying a lavish meal. Bridgette, our coordinator left no item overlooked and nothing was too small to give attention to. Thank you! Thank you! for our Fourth of July wedding spectacular!

I wish there were more stars for me to give The French Manor. Where do I begin to describe how PERFECT of wedding I had at The French Manor? One word to describe the entire night: Magical.

My fiancé and I celebrated my birthday at The French Manor a few years ago. I immediately knew, "this is where I want to get married." The high ceilings, rustic decor, stone fireplaces, the place is a fairytale.

We began planning our wedding with Bridget last May. From the very beginning, she was more than accommodating, helpful, and very responsive to all of our questions. We had no doubt about wanting to get married at The French Manor!

We had our wedding tasting a few months later and we nearly cried with delight at how tasty the food was. We are big food people so this was a very important factor for us.

Bridget, was available for us whenever we needed her. She went above and beyond - and so did her staff!! I've never met a more friendly wait staff. My guests are still talking about how wonderful they were!

And the clean up was immediate! Dishes and glasses were swept away leaving tables full of flowers and candlelit votives.

They were so flexible in making a menu we wanted and a signature drink. The ceremony overlooked the beautiful mountains. They provided all chairs and tables which made things so much easier.

And how can we not mention the beautiful stone steps and brand new patio?!! The cafe lights hanging from the rafters made me feel like I truly was a princess in a fairy tale.

I highly recommend Bridget, her family, and the entire staff at The French Manor. I'm so sorry it's over already! A night I shall truly never forget. I am still smiling and I think I will be for a very, very long time. It was perfect.

The place was so amazing that I do not know where to begin. The grounds and manor are beautifully maintained. The staff is extremely professional both in the planning process and on the day of the event. There was a hurricane on my wedding day and while the ceremony was moved inside and the power went out during the cocktail hour, no guest was aware of any problem. Their generators came on quickly and there was no interruption with music or food. I actually didn't notice until one of the staff came to me to apologize for it. The quality of the food is amazing and a very good deal. I would not hesitate to recommend this place or its staff!!!

The French Manor is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, the food is AMAZING, and they are opening an Eco-Spa as well! It is off the beaten path, but it is atop Huckleberry Mountain, with spectacular views and is well worth the trip.

We visited the French Manor as a possible location for our wedding. We had made an appointment in advance and were seeing a few venues a day but the person in charge was an hour late. That was a tough start but the grounds looked pretty so we figured it was worth waiting to see it since we were already there. The requirements for a wedding using the dining room was very onerous for us, so we ultimately opted not to use them. There are approximately 50 rooms on site at the inn, but to use the dinning room for the wedding dinner you must guarantee 100% occupancy for two nights. The rooms were around $400 a night, so this was not something I was comfortable asking our guests to do. This might be a great spot if you're doing an elopement or quasi elopement where you want to eat in the dinning room with other guests of the inn also dining there, but I felt this was too much to manage. The grounds were very pretty but it ultimately wasn't for us
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
