This is the most underrated venue ever! GORGEOUS and totally magical! Tim & Carol are the perfect host/hostess! They were very communicative, kind, compassionate and gracious about our needs, our wedding and our vision. We are older, 2nd-time around folks and wanted high quality, intimate and small. Dancing Deer was PERFECT for us and it was unbelieveably economical! We are over the top thrilled with how it all came out. GORGEOUS and again...magical and a "dream come true" wedding and wedding reception venue!

Anna and Gary were absolute pleasures to work with. The garden is such a lovely space and they made our wedding a dream come true. Highly recommend for a gorgeous and unique venue/experience with amazing people.

We had our wedding on an absolutely stunning early fall day at The Stage and we are so thrilled with Horning’s Hideout!! We got incredibly lucky with this venue. Nancy Horning was prompt, professional, and so helpful. We were able to visit the venue multiple times, which helped us determine our set up and decor. Horning’s is a popular spot and this was helpful for curating the absolute best vendors for our wedding day. It was so important to us to be able to have the freedom to pick our different vendors and Horning’s made this easy. The grounds are kept in impeccable condition, it was easy to guide guests to our specific venue, and the bathrooms were stocked with the necessities all night! Our guests raved about our venue and it’s because Nancy and the rest of the HH staff are clearly dedicated to maintaining their different venue sites so that everyone gets to enjoy the beautiful space. The Stage site itself was spacious but still felt intimate with our 50 person wedding. Really this venue has it all- I wish I could throw my wedding here on repeat because it was such an incredible day.

This is the perfect spot to get married. I could write a novel about why, but to keep your attention, I'll make a list of 10 reasons you should definitely book Navarra Gardens right away. 1) The owner, Karen is a DREAM to work with, communicative, easy to coordinate with, and an all around cool person to get to know. 2) It is affordable, reasonable, and no hidden fees 3) There are places to stay the night; it was important to me to be able to wake up at my venue the day of my wedding and just be able to set up and get ready; my parents also got to stay as well, which worked out super well for us. Karen was even so AMAZING and checked with me to ensure I was okay with my parents staying there. So respectful and protective of me as the bride! 4) There are no words to describe how beautiful the property is; the pictures could never do it justice. The English garden made it so I didn't have to do much with flowers or decorations in general. Even if you're on the fence, GO SEE THE PLACE. It's an experience in and of itself. For reference, I saw the place in the dead of winter and knew it was magical and perfect. 5) The layout was so fun for guests of all ages. We had elderly people, disabled people, and kids of all ages and they all had a blast. 6) Karen and the staff were so flexible and just wanted our day to feel special. They knew to work out logistics with our coordinator and family. If there was any crises, we had no idea! It was a drama free and relaxing day. So grateful for that as I know that is not the norm. 7) Vendors knew exactly where to go, and where to set up. Everyone who worked with us said it was all straightforward and simple to work with Karen and her team. 8) Parking, restrooms, and guest accommodations were excellent. People were welcome to keep their cars overnight as we had an open bar and told all our guests we wanted them to get a DD if they were having too much fun. 9) There are so many places to explore on the property; perfect nooks for more introverted guests to get away to and lawn chairs by the river to lounge at. My husband and I definitely took advantage of hiding away by the river while everything was buzzing around us. 10) NO mosquitos or bugs to fight off. You may be wondering how that was possible in August by a river in Oregon- but Karen has her ways. ;) Honestly, take the tour, see what she has to offer, and decide for yourself. But don't take too long to deliberate, from my experience, her schedule fills up quick!

We used AstroRanchPDX for our family gathering which was fantastic. The location was so close to the city but had a very beautiful large private space and a unique intimate family feel. The property had a beautiful pond water feature surrounded by a large deck and many hidden spots to have a private conversation within a larger event space. The event space itself was very flexible with lots of options to setup both outside or undercover. The music room was a large indoor space where we setup a projector and Karaoke for everyone to enjoy. The large flattop area can accommodate lots of cars as can the large field next to it. I can’t thank owners enough for their support to make our 4-day event a wonderful lasting memory for our family. We had the most amazing experience at this venue for our wedding! The space was beautiful and perfect for our special day—every detail was just what we envisioned. A huge thank you to Melissa, the venue manager, who was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel so supported and cared for. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place—or a better person—to help bring our wedding to life! Highly recommend this venue and Melissa to any couple looking for a stress-free and memorable experience.

This venue is AMAZING! We got married in August 2021 at the Main Lodge. We were able to stay two nights, which allowed us more time with friends and family and the flexibility to decorate and rehearse! There are so many options within the site to use (ceremony circle, patios, inside dining area, pavilion, and conference room) and also came with a lot of amenities included (chairs, plates/cutlery, built in bar, sauna, etc.) There are many options for camping/RV, and inside lodging that most of our guests were able to stay all weekend with us! The Main Lodge is so beautiful, that you don't need many decorations! Arvid, Vikki and Richard were AMAZING to work with! Booking Anderson Lodge was the best decision we made!

We had our micro-wedding at Leach in May 2024. Short version: it was a slice of heaven! The entire Leach staff put us at ease from the moment we first toured the venue. Cheyenne is a true delight to work with, and she never seemed to tire of answering my very particular questions, both before and after we signed the venue contract. I’m an organized person, so I felt relieved to see just how on top of it Cheyenne and Kit were on all levels. They were always one step ahead and unfazed by any blips (or my anxiety lol). Wedding day was a breeze. Again, this was a micro-wedding— only six guests! But we still had the trappings of a full ceremony, dinner, photos, cake, etc. Cheyenne and Co. executed the floor plan and timeline in the most unobtrusive, seamless way. Having the Manor House and East Terrace all to ourselves after hours was pure magic. We felt like we were transported to an English countryside estate! My husband and I feel so lucky to have started our married life here. Leach is THE place for a sophisticated and intimate wedding!

We got married in June 2025 at this stunning venue, on a rainy day. Despite it being cold in the summer, the clouds and rain created an ethereal, magical effect. We don't think we could have found a more beautiful venue in the PNW. Our guests gushed about how beautiful the grounds are. Bridal Veil Lakes is the perfect outdoor wedding venue for those who want to be married among the trees and the Gorge. Coordination is very easy with the owners and Jennifer to set up visits at their site. They have great vendor recommendations (especially our coordinator Kelsey Castrey, who knows this venue inside and out). Keep in mind, there is not a full kitchen on site for caterers. We used a shuttle to bring guests from the Portland area to the venue, which was very helpful. There is parking onsite.
