Hoda’s Catering was absolutely incredible for our wedding! The food was a huge hit with all of our guests — people are still raving about the steak bite appetizers, the sea bass with mango, and those amazing potatoes. They were flexible with our cocktail choices and made the entire catering package so easy and enjoyable to use. From start to finish, Hoda and her entire family were warm, kind, and a joy to work with. Our tasting was such a fun experience, and it gave us so much confidence going into the big day. On the wedding day itself, the servers were professional and attentive, helping everything flow seamlessly. They offer excellent variety in their food options, and every dish was prepared beautifully. We truly loved working with them and can’t recommend Hoda’s Catering enough!

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Castaway team. Very responsive and helpful and just a great group of people. You will absolutely not regret having your wedding here! If I could plan a wedding all over again I would pick castaway every time. A beautiful space that you can make your own and the best team to help guide you.

Lakeside Gardens is set in a beautiful natural park like setting. We worked with Noel from the Lakeside staff. She was awesome! Kindra assisted Noel with our wedding. Lakeside Gardens support of my husband and me was beyond our expectations. Lakeside Gardens support of us as members of the LGBQT+ community was so important. Noel and the entire team made Aaron and me feel like family. Lakeside Gardens offers three bakers, three florists, multiple menus of food options and color schemes. Lakeside Gardens was the one stop wedding venue that we were looking for but had a hard time finding. If you are straight, LGBQT+, or something in-between, definitely meet with the Lakeside Gardens staff. Noel, Kindra and the other staff go above and beyond other venues. We toured 5 other venues; Lakeside Gardens beat them all!

Hosting our wedding at Blockhouse was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is stunning even as a blank slate, but seeing it come to life with our tables, chairs, and décor in place was an absolutely euphoric dream come true. The ambiance of Blockhouse, surrounded by lush greenery and tucked away in a private corner of NW Portland, felt both intimate and vibrant. The Blockhouse team was incredibly easy to work with and truly allowed us to make our wedding our own. We’re so grateful to have chosen this beautiful space and to have worked with such a supportive and kind staff.

We absolutely loved our wedding here. The space easily fit our 150 guests and was beautiful. We were able to do minimal decoration due to the beautiful wood features throughout. Jonathan, the event manager, was attentive and helped us make the space work for us. Overall it was very affordable compared to other Bend venues.

Anyone can say the venue made their event great, and most do. But when many, many people tell you it was the best wedding they have ever been to, you know something special happened. My bride-to-be (now Wife) and I were already in our 50s in January when we started to plan our wedding in Portland, OR, with a growing list of 100+ guests who form a very diverse group - from our 2 year old Ringbearer, to my mother, who would be mad if I put her age here. We included at least 4 generations of family, proud Texas, native Floridians, Portlandians, high-school friends from California, employers, musicians, left wing, right wing, reborn Christians, Atheists, deep seated Democrats, staunch Republicans and more. We had stayed at the Edgefield before, so when researching venues, it was easy to move this place towards the top of the list. At this point we were all ready watching this event balloon into a major to-do. To complicate things, this wedding was planned 3,000 miles away from our home in Florida, 1,500 miles from our coordinator and DJ, A2Z Music/DJXL were from Fort Worth, and our Officiant was coming in from Vegas. With rentals of 2 audio systems, stage lighting, fog machines, trusses and projectors I asked their staff for things out of the ordinary, like “hey do you have ethernet connections in the hall so I can hook up my own wifi?” And they answered honestly, quickly, and most of the time, with a resounding “Yes” we can make that work. And yeah… they have wired internet connection in the Blackberry Hall. The planning and catering staff were amazing and very accommodating. We stayed in the hotel for a few nights, and everything was what you want when you are doing this. We never saw the event spaces (Blackberry Meadow for the outside ceremony near sunset, and the adjacent Blackberry Hall for the reception) until 11:00 am on the day of the event. Everything was laid out exactly as we had requested, and all we had to do was decorate, and install the audio systems, lighting, etc. Heck they had even added a projector and dropdown screen to the hall which we plugged in to and used for karaoke! This was the right place for our event. The right staff, the right ambiance, the right look, the right feel, and the right price.

We had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Reed. Because it is such a beautiful venue on its own, very little decorating was necessary (just table decorating). Rebecca was extremely helpful and had very good ideas and suggestions. She suggested the pedi-cabs, where to put signs showing guests where to go, etc. The Reed and its staff were very easy to work with as far as scheduling rental drop offs, allowing us in before the wedding to look at the space, where to place the tables, and use of the kitchen. I especially enjoyed the fact that we were able to do the food ourselves and use the kitchen for a small extra fee.

My husband and I got married on 9/13 at Evergreen Events in McMinnville OR, which is the venue portion of the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. I could not recommend this venue enough. We used the brand new Reception Hall for both our ceremony and reception, and the whole staff was incredible. But you guys – the event manager, Kelsey, is a literal angel on earth. That is the only way to describe her as she is not only incredibly kind and genuine, but also superhuman in the way she ran around taking care of every little detail and mitigating vendor issues (my personal vendor hires) left and right. We had several issues with vendors that threw wrenches into the event from the day before the wedding through the actual wedding itself, and her direction and action pulled soooo much stress off of me and got us through the night. Just to give you a small example, when we picked up our rental décor which included a velvet sofa, the sofa was filthy and covered in dust/dirt/god knows what. I didn’t even want to take it, but my husband said we would find a vacuum and clean it up. When we got it to the venue I asked Kelsey if they had a vacuum, and she said she would check. Completely forgot about the sofa from that moment on, up until I was sitting on it with my grandma for a photo during the reception, and it was spotless. I mentioned it to someone in my bridal party and they said they saw Kelsey on her hands and knees scrubbing it before the ceremony. I was blown away by that because she did NOT have to do that and it was so so so kind of her to go out of her way to make sure that little detail was perfect. She is SO thorough, so organized and professional, so great to work with and 1000% in the right industry. I also want to mention the rest of the staff because they were so sweet and on top of it with clearing dishes, checking on our guests, getting drinks out at the bar, etc. The food here is PHENOMANAL – my family and friends are still talking about the salmon we had at dinner and I’ve had many people tell me it was some of the best they’ve ever had. We had about 130 guests at our wedding and the food/drink/set up was flawless. You absolutely will not regret using them.

The Baker Building was the PERFECT venue for our October 2025 wedding, and we couldn't recommend it more enthusiastically!! Jen and Mark were so easy and pleasant to work with, the vintage Portland space is gorgeous, and the open vendor policy helped keep our planning process super flexible. And on the Big Day, our guests were comfortable and had a fantastic time (and easy parking)! It was also really cool to talk to Mark about about the building's history in the neighborhood, and hear some of their plans for the future. Schedule a tour!!
