We recently hosted our wedding reception in the Topaz 2 room at the Renaissance Downtown Reno Hotel, and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! From the very beginning, Rebecca Moralez, the catering/events manager, was incredibly helpful and attentive. She patiently answered all of my questions leading up to our big day, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism and warmth made us feel confident that everything would go perfectly—and it did! The Topaz 2 room itself is stunning. It’s modern, spacious, and exudes an elegant vibe that instantly elevated our event. The décor and ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration, and our guests were just as impressed as we were. The food was another highlight. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and received rave reviews from all our guests. It truly made our reception memorable. Overall, the Renaissance Downtown Reno Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a venue for your next event, I highly recommend this hotel—especially with Rebecca Moralez guiding you through the process. Thank you to the entire team for making our special day absolutely perfect!

My husband and I booked Whitney Peak 2 years ago and were immediately guided through a process that made sense, with a staff that truly cares for its clients. Kelly was our coordinator and went above and beyond to make sure our day was special - and it was an unforgettable day that was above our expectations. The Peppermill's catering department really put a great wedding together for us, and within in a pretty short time frame. It was a destination wedding and they honestly exceeded our expectations. They coordinated every detail, right down to even coordinating the ceremony. We had a small party but wanted an elegant setting and the Sierra Suite worked perfectly for our needs. The food, drinks and cake we're all excellent. I would highly recommend the Peppermill for any wedding, large or small. They made our day very beautiful and incredibly special.

It was a great spot for a smaller wedding. Great resort. Loved our rooms. Our photographer Elsa Bascarello was amazing. The food was great.

Jim and I were married May 18, 2019 at the Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino. Our ceremony was in Silver Baron Room E, with the luncheon & Dancing immediately following in rooms C & D. Michele Williams, National Sales Manager, gave us a tour of their property prior to our ceremony. They provided a beautiful suite for us at a reduced price, as well as guest rooms at reduced rates. Katy Sachs, Catering & Convention Services Manager, assisted us with room set up, food, music, and flowers. I had many compliments on the food & service. Our ceremony was at 1:00 pm with luncheon immediately following. Luncheon menu is less expensive than dinner menu. Plus, guests could drive & return to the Bay Area within the same day, if they chose to, or spend the weekend. Having all the events at one location proved to be a very wise decision.
