Genoa Lakes was absolutely amazing. From the staff to the location. Tec was incredibly helpful and made the day go so smoothly. I will be forever appreciative of him and all the Genoa Lakes staff!

Genoa Lakes Golf Course is the PERFECT venue for a wedding during any season! The grounds a very well kept, and The Supper Club, the space where the reception is held, is decorated very nicely. Pricing is very reasonable and competitive, but considering everything that is included and the beauty of the property, Genoa Lakes could charge considerably more than what they do. The best part of having our wedding here was the coordinator, Tec! He is, by far, the BEST person that any bride can have in her corner on her wedding day. He made our special day seamless and if anything was not perfect, my husband and I are still none the wiser.

From the moment we entered Genoa Lakes, it felt like this is exactly what we were looking for in a venue. Tec (wedding and event coordinator for Genoa Lakes) gave us the inside scoop on weddings and gave us the answers we were looking for. They have catering on site so that took off alot of stress of trying to find caterers and paying travel fees. When it came to the menu, we were able to customize it based on their options to meet our needs and already have a gorgeous property that taking pictures on would make anyone happy. A beautiful backdrop of the mountains as well! Perfect for those looking for a rustic feel, but can also be glammed up! Their staff have been super helpful and available to answer questions whenever we needed them to!

What an amazing experience and beautiful wedding. Tec did everything possible to make my day brilliant and stress free. Was very professional, staff was super helpful and just amazing in general. Food was absolutely the best food I have had in a very long time, I still have people telling me how amazing it was. I would definitely recommend having your wedding here. So this guy TEC is freaking amazing i mean beyond without a doubt. He promised meme a stress free day and that’s what i got exacty to a T. Even so much to where my parents and quest were impressed on how nice and beautiful the venue came out. The food was on another level.. best choice hands down.. you definitely can’t go wrong with TEC at all. He will make the brides day his top priority and things will run so smooth. I highly recommend this place for a wedding nice sensory and great vibes and communication from the staff.. we had so much fun

I can not say enough great things about Genoa Lakes Golf Course and the food an beverage director, Tec Childers! We had our wedding there on June 1st, 2018 and would do it again am million times over! From the first day we toured the venue and met Tec I could instantly picture our wedding there. Tec was there for me 24/7, whenever I had a question, concern, or wanted to visit the venue (it's so beautiful I think I could live there). Tec has an impeccably honest, no-nonsense approach to all things wedding and all things beautiful. I would ask his opinion on if something is necessary or not, all the way to whether something would be aesthetically pleasing or not for our wedding reception and I could always count on him to give an honest answer. At no point did I ever feel like he was only in it for the money, he truly cared about my thoughts and concerns and our wedding day. And don't tell him I told you... but he's also a big softie when it comes to all the sentimental moments ;)

The day of our wedding went INCREDIBLY smooth, and I definitely have Tec to thank for that. He was so accommodating to anything I asked or needed from him, from pushing the reception time, all the way to making sure that everything looked the best it possibly could. If there were guests or family members who got out of line, you can bet your bottom Tec took care of that! Put it this way... if I had asked Tec for a horse and carriage ride right in the middle of our wedding, he would've done everything in his power to make that happen.

As I said before, I absolutely can not say enough wonderful things about Tec, his wait staff, the bartenders, EVERYTHING about Genoa Lakes Golf Club. I would have our wedding there 10 million more times and would recommend it to anyone and everyone I know!

Tec was absolutely great! He is so fun and so friendly. He's so kind and has so many great ideas! His staff is so professional and so friendly. My wedding was absolutely amazing and I could not have asked for anything better. I had the absolute best day and I could not have asked for anything more from Tec.

We had a beautiful and wonderful wedding here in May 2017! Tec, the manager was beyond helpful and very knowledgeable. He made sure that everything was perfect for our special day, even though it POURED down rain all day. Him and his team pulled through and had a backup plan in place to make sure everything was taken care of due to weather issues. The food was amazing! They have beyond a ton of food options to choose from and we were not disappointed with what we chose. We went with the dinner buffet and had the Tri Tip and Salmon with scallop potatoes which were just mouth watering good and not to mention their amazing chocolate chip cookies!!! The room was a perfect backdrop for our special day along with the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains in the background for photos done outside. We couldn't have asked for a better location to have our special day!!!

Just talk to Tec, he has such great ideas and advice and REALLY cares about the couple and other people involved in planning the wedding. Everything for our daughter's wedding went so smoothly. We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking for a place to hold their wedding and reception.

Stephanie was wonderful! Always responded to emails promptly and made things happen, even to the last minute. Very accommodating to my many requests. The rest of the staff was also incredible. Professional, very friendly, and helpful. It rained on my wedding day- the ceremony was supposed to be outside. But luckily there was an indoor option and they fit all my guests inside (around 200 people). They all worked together to make the day as perfect as can be.
