The Peppermill Resort is a wonderful place to get married. My husband and I visited Reno many times while we were dating, that we thought it would be fun to get married there. We could only afford a small wedding (30 guests) but right from the start Jami (our coordinator) made me feel like our wedding was huge. She was so attentive and detailed, and it was so nice that the package included the pre-planning (definitely for those of us that work a lot and don't have time!). She was also there to coordinate the wedding day, and everything went off without a hitch. The Sierra Suite venue that we used was decorated beautifully, and Peppermill staff set up all my placecards, favors, napkins, and card box perfectly. The food and cake were DELICIOUS, and many guests commented that it was the best wedding reception they'd been to (we did the chicken & filet mignon duet plated dinner).

The Peppermill has many wedding venues, some big and some small, and the customer service of the wedding office staff is beyond perfection. We loved every moment of it, and we are so thankful to the Peppermill!

The reception was done beautifully with the upmost professionalism

The venue was superb. We had Tonya as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. The rest of the wedding office staff that we interacted with were also really great and helpful. We came up 2 nights early and they gave our families a tour of the facilities and booked us something extra and special for free.
We stayed in the Luxury Bridal Suite for 2 nights and it was fabulous. The Peppermill rooms are always great.
The wedding itself went off nearly without a hitch (see below about my bouquet). The food was excellent and Tonya went the extra mile and got us some cool special lighting and a fountain! She also reserved for us a fireplace and large mirror for the ceremony, which was an awesome touch. She was really on-point with the whole thing; all the way down to giving our (very young) flower girls their flower baskets right before they went out, so they'd be interested in them and not want to jump out of their little wagon.
I also loved the centerpieces and tablesettings. We just did candles and flower petals but it was really elegant with the black and ivory colors we chose. Tonya also made sure our personalized wedding party champagne glasses were in the appropriate places.
The dinner was really, really good. We had the filet mignon/chicken breast combo plate and everyone loved it. It was truly good eats!
The bridesmaids' bouquets were simply gorgeous (3 stargazer lilies with a little greenery). My bouquet was not what I ordered though. I wanted roses and peonies and it turns out the peonies didn't arrive in time so it was all roses. Had I had any notice of this, I would have selected a different bouquet because I think plain roses are a bit boring, but it didn't ruin the evening or anything.
The bar service and wait staff were superb. Everyone has told us what a fabulous evening it was, and most have commented it was the funnest wedding they have ever attended; largely due to the venue!

Absolutely amazing to work with! I can't say enough good things about Margie and the rest of the wedding department, so many emails and phone calls were exchanged and things were exactly as I had asked, and everyone was so supportive. Nothing went wrong and couldn't have gone any better than it did. The banquet captain was great and right there when we needed something, but never got in the way. The wedding cake was phenomenal, they decorated exactly to the picture that I sent them of what I wanted, and the taste was incredible! The lighting was great, my planner seems to have even surprised us with some lights in the shape of trees on the wall behind our sweetheart table, which matched the theme of the wedding. The officiant was unreal, that's all our guests kept saying was how great he was. The videographer captured the ceremony beautifully! The food for the buffet was insane, so much great food! I can't say enough good things about our experience with our wedding at The Peppermill!

Working with the Peppermill was great! Our ceremony and reception flowed flawlessly and looked beautiful. Sara was great about keeping us apprise of any situations that might arise, and made all of our personal touches work fantastically. Also, only having to go through one person instead of having to run around town negotiating contracts ourselves was great. I highly recommend the Peppermill.

The Peppermill's catering department really put a great wedding together for us, and within in a pretty short time frame. It was a destination wedding and they honestly exceeded our expectations. They coordinated every detail, right down to even coordinating the ceremony. We had a small party but wanted an elegant setting and the Sierra Suite worked perfectly for our needs. The food, drinks and cake we're all excellent. I would highly recommend the Peppermill for any wedding, large or small. They made our day very beautiful and incredibly special.

My entire family and I had a great experience staying at the peppermill and having our wedding ceremony and reception at the resort. The wedding specialist, Tonya is very knowledgeable in her field and was very easy to work with. We had one of the most memorable times and she ensured that happen.

Great place for an all in one place for guests that are coming out of town. 10 minutes from the airport. The rooms are clean and quiet. I highly recommend.
