Wedding Cakes in Albuquerque

I not only ordered my wedding cake from ABC Cake Shop and Bakery but also the cupcakes for my bridal shower and both desserts exceeded my expectations! They were both so beautiful and came out perfect! We had multiple meetings and enjoyed the cake tasting and having all of our questions answered and our ideas listened to! Our cake was so delicious I can hardly wait for our anniversary cake which will be a combination of both my favorite and my husband’s favorite flavor!

Sweet Butter Baking makes phenomenal cake. I ordered a two tiered cake from here and it was so good. I heard prior to my wedding from several people, that guests attending your wedding won't eat a lot of cake. I had multiple people at my wedding eat several slices of the cake and most of the people at my reception told me how much they enjoyed the cake. While the cake is delicious, Sweet Butter Baking's artistry is also amazing. She is truly talented and is willing to learn new ways of decorating a cake if asked. During our initial meeting she took her time talking about all the details in the images I provided to figure out what exactly drew me (and fiancé) to that image. Overall, she is very easy to work with and I am so happy I hired her.

The best tasting cake! I am so happy I went with Q's cakes! The cake was moist and flavorful. I wanted to hide it from my guests and eat it all myself! It was also so beautiful!

Bittersweet stepped in when my bakery unexpectedly went out of business two months before my wedding, and they did some absolutely fantastic (and very affordable) cupcakes and a small six inch cake for my reception. I got two dozen each of five flavors, all extremely delicious and different enough that they were easy to tell apart. The cupcakes themselves were incredibly moist and tasty (even days later sitting on the counter) and the icing held up well to the heat and wind. The little cake was so incredibly tasty I’m sad I didn’t get the chance to eat more of it! Delivery was prompt, pre-event communication was clear and professional, and everyone I worked with was extremely friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible considering I didn’t have much pre- event notice to place a large order. Check them out for your next event!

Cakes by D made our wedding cake and I could not be more happy. She worked with us to make it exactly how we wanted it and it was beautiful and delicious...many guests commented to us that it was the best cake they ever had (champagne & red velvet). It was so good my husband still talks about it a year and a half later... guess what his birthday cake will be. It was also very affordable!! Amazing cake!

Leading up to finding Ginene, I wondered where there were not any reviews on her.... We took a chance. We went to 3 cake tastings, 1 place completely forgot about us... another place tried to balance our tasting AND a cash register..... the last place had us tasting 2 day old cupcakes. I was not impressed and frankly, just concerned I'd ever find a cake. Ginene opened her cupcake shop on a Sunday just to fit our travel schedule (I was planning from out of state) and gave us a platter of cakes to taste all with different fillings. I made my decision on the spot. Ginene did 2 cakes for me.... the rehearsal dinner cake and my wedding cake. My groom loves Syracuse and peanut butter so I ordered surprise groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner which she made beautifully into a syracuse "S" and had the mascott sitting on top. It was perfect! The cake was amazing.... visually stunning and tasted like a reece's peanut butter cup! My wedding cake was just as good. Visually beautiful and tasted great too. We had ton's of compliments on our cake. I highly recommend Ginene.

My original bakery backed out of our contract due to the baker had a car accident and was hospitalized less than one month before the wedding. I was in a panic until I found Steven who had just taken over the Cornerstone Bakery in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Because of time, I had limited choices, so I went with Steven's bakery even though I had not seen any of their cakes. When the cake arrived at Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club, it took my breathe away. It was even more beautiful than the picture I sent him!!! The price was way below what I had been quoted from a bakery in Albequrque. Please call Steven if you need a wedding cake because I promise you you will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Jocelyn of Jocelyn's Cakes was an extremely fortunate find for our daughter's wedding cake! She was a pleasure to work with, very flexible and generous! Along with a beautiful wedding cake, she also made a groom's cake which was perfect! Jocelyn's Cakes was an outstanding choice!

BEST DESSERT EVER!! We ordered donuts instead of a cake for our wedding and it was amazing. Our guests loved them, the donut tower looked really cool in our dining space and we had leftovers for breakfast the next morning! Rebel was easy to work with. We had a mixture of regular size and mini donuts, they rented us a donut tower to use, and they provided coffee for our desert-hour. Thanks Rebel!!

Was good. Cupcakes were prettier than the cake. The ones we requested dairy free and the ones requested gluten free weren’t at all labeled so several of our guests weren’t able to enjoy. Including my mother. Who paid a very good amount on my wedding. So pretty disappointed on that. Otherwise fine enough experience.
