Bittersweet stepped in when my bakery unexpectedly went out of business two months before my wedding, and they did some absolutely fantastic (and very affordable) cupcakes and a small six inch cake for my reception. I got two dozen each of five flavors, all extremely delicious and different enough that they were easy to tell apart. The cupcakes themselves were incredibly moist and tasty (even days later sitting on the counter) and the icing held up well to the heat and wind. The little cake was so incredibly tasty I’m sad I didn’t get the chance to eat more of it! Delivery was prompt, pre-event communication was clear and professional, and everyone I worked with was extremely friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible considering I didn’t have much pre- event notice to place a large order. Check them out for your next event!

Wonderful mini cupcakes and the wedding cake was phenomenal!

As an out of state bride I only had reviews and customer service on the phone to help make my decision on vendors. These wonderful ladies were a "piece of cake" to work with by phone and by email. Our wedding cake was everything I wanted and it was delicious! I wish I could get married all over again just so I could re-hire these ladies. Absolutely no problems with delivery, pricing, or getting someone on the phone. I changed my mind a couple of times and never had a problem with them adjusting to my crazy ideas. When I finally got to meet them they were just as sweet as their cake and cupcakes!!! From one bride to another, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Chef Kerry Logan and her team at BitterSweets Bakery are an outstanding group of professionals! The cake flavors were delicious and our wedding cake turned out beautiful. However, the best part of all of it was our cake topper. We took Kerry a photo of what we wanted and she created a topper BETTER than the photo - it went above and beyond our expectations. BitterSweets Bakery under the direction of Chef Kerry was the only vendor participating in my wedding that did not make me stress. She was on it from the beginning. My only stop for cake and desserts ever again will be BitterSweets and I will refer anyone I know there. Her prices are completely affordable and her service is outstanding. If I could have rated her 7 out of 5 stars, I would have. Thank you Kerry for making mine and Dean's day that much more fantastic!

Loved this bakery! We ordered 200 cupcakes for our wedding and they turned out absolutely perfect, just as we wanted them, and they were delicious. They even do gluten-free cake (which, admittedly, was a little too sweet for my taste). My favorite part was going for the cake tasting, in which they give you six free cupcakes on the spot to taste test!

Caked is primarily a gourmet cupcake shop, but they do beautiful work on wedding cakes as well. We met with them in advance to do a tasting and they were a lot of fun to work with, very laid back. The cake itself is very delicious! We ended up with a simple three-tiered take with butter-cream frosting, decorated in fresh flowers, and it was exactly what I wanted.

My only complaint is that on the day of the wedding, they forgot a portion of the order. We were supposed to have a half-dozen gluten-free cupcakes delivered along with the cake and they never arrived. They refunded us afterward for the mix-up, but it was a little inconvenient.

I got a small 2 tier cake, and several dozen cupcakes. the small cake was stunning, tasted great, and looked really close to what i was expecting. the cupcakes, however, looked nothing like what we had talked about. they were burnt, and the liners and spray on color were wrong. i was surprised, because normally their cupcakes are super good.

Called to make an appointment for a cake tasting and paid the cost over the phone. We showed up at the scheduled time and they were not prepared. They said they had no record of us making an appointment and were snippy about it. Then they found our info taped to one of the refrigerators and realized their mistake. Could not trust them after that. Really disappointing.
