We had no idea the kind of attention to detail and quality of service we were going to receive when we chose Amani Affairs, but they exceeded every expectation. Jihan took our vision and brought it to life by really getting to know us understanding exactly what we wanted. Wether that be through virtual meetings, quick communication over email or even phone calls, Jihan and her team were always available to provide the help we needed. One of the best things the team was able to do was work with us to create the perfect timeline and actually execute it perfectly on the day of the wedding. The Amani Affairs team really cares about their clients and they deliver for you on the best day of your life!

Sarah is the best! We worked together for a little over a year on my wedding and she was always available to talk through texts/calls/email! She helped me so much with my wedding anxiety and made sure everything came together perfectly on the day of! Sarah and her team created such a beautiful wedding for us and I am forever grateful.

If you are a review reader I hope you read my gush8ing review on google. These guhys are the REAL DEAL. They make the wedding planning process so much easier! Working with Heather, Mia and Cole was so much fun. Always responsive and helped me work through a lot of difficult venue problems!! I was an out of town bride and having Heather as my boots on the ground saved my wedding and my sanity! They gave us the wedding of our dreams!! BOOK THEM!

Katie is great! From meetings months beforehand to make sure we stayed on track to recommendations on DJ/caterer/makeup artist/photographer, she was on point. Made the day of wedding seamless as well and everything went off without a hitch, much to her credit! Hoping I never need her services again, would recommend to any bride looking to have a relatively stress-free preparation and wedding day!

Shauna felt like family from the moment we met her! She was so kind, attentive and intentional with every detail and she is an expert in all things you need to know as a bride. Whenever I needed her she was available and ready to answer my questions and I could trust that she would provide the most honest feedback even if it was something hard to hear. On the day of our wedding she handled everything and I didn’t have to stress the details at all. It could not have gone more perfect! The best decision we made in the planning process was having Shauna come along on this journey - she’s a complete angel :)

After vetting several planners for our wedding, we had a very good feeling about Dayma and ended up going with her. This turned out to be one of the best decisions we could make, as Dayma was easy to work with, extremely communicative, and had all of her ducks in a row throughout the whole process. When the wedding day arrived, Dayma and her team executed things to PERFECTION, and that is not an exaggeration. I was blown away as I saw her working with her team over headsets at the venue to make sure everything was set up beautifully, and literally everything from start to finish went smoothly. Based on our experience, I would recommend Dayma as a must-have wedding planner to go with for the Wilmington area.

Melissa and The Knot Too Shabby team created absolute magic for our wedding day. Not only did they create a smooth for day of, their support and guidance through our year and a half of planning was phenomenal. I plan events as part of by job, and I knew I needed a planner for our wedding to ensure that we were not the ones running around during wedding weekend. I cannot thank Melissa enough for how calm she kept us (and our families). Melissa allowed us to have as much free reign in the planning as we liked, and guided us through the final stages so we didn't have to wonder if any detail was missed. Beyond incredible organization, Melissa is just a joy to work with. We could immediately crack jokes and laugh about the funny little pieces that pop up during preparing for your wedding. If you are considering hiring a planner, first of all just do it. Your wedding day self will thank you. Second of all, hire Knot Too Shabby. Melissa's organization and talent for planning coupled with amazing personality will leave you feeling supported and stress free.

Monika covers every area of wedding planning that you can even imagine. She is efficient, creative and super knowledgeable. Her customer service is impeccable. Even with an out of state wedding she provided excellent service! She was able to bring Life to my desires.

Wow! Where do I start!? Mandy is absolutely amazing--from the moment I contacted her about my wedding to the day of the event. Mandy is extremely detailed oriented, caring, patient and incredibly understanding. Our wedding was FANTASTIC! Thanks so much for making our day special!!
