I will recommend Jana and Design A Dream Events to literally everybody. As an October 2025 bride with a shorter engagement, I was unsure of how everything would come together, but Jana brought our vision to life and created the most perfect and magical day for us!

She was always extremely kind, encouraging, and professional and bent over backwards to help us secure the best vendors who were always at or below our price point. Jana was always on top of things and made us feel so confident and at peace leading up to our special day. She made sure that every was taken care of and that on the wedding day, we could relax knowing everything was handled and that we were in good hands. Her knowledge and expertise in design took her services to another level, and our wedding was even more beautiful than we could have ever expected. Jana is an event planner who you can trust the most special day of your life to and have absolutely nothing to worry about! Besides the decision my husband and I made to marry each other, choosing Jana was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process!

Jana and her team were exceptional!! I didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day, they were so on top of it! I loved getting to know Jana over our planning meetings; she is quick, efficient, and knows how to make your day PERFECT! As a first timer, I wasn't sure what would look best with design and colors and rentals, and she guided us so well. We have been getting so many compliments for weeks on how every detail was absolutely flawless and we owe that to Design a Dream!!! I kept waiting for something to not go right during the wedding, as everyone says at least one thing will, and nothing ever did - we are SO thankful for having the best team ever for making our wedding the best day ever :)

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jana Ingraham and Design a Dream for our wedding, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Jana was incredibly responsive and organized, making sure we were always aware of upcoming timelines and next steps. She answered every question we had quickly and thoroughly, which helped ease so much of the stress that comes with planning a wedding.

Jana was also very accommodating with virtual calls, given we were out of state, allowing us to talk through all the little details face-to-face, which we greatly appreciated. Her flexibility and calm demeanor, especially when it came to last-minute changes, made all the difference.

From the very first phone call, we knew Jana was going to blow us away. On that first phone call, she did not try to sell us anything. She genuinely cared about our love story and and wanted to be apart of it. Over the next year and a half, she checked in to make sure we were booking vendors when necessary. She set up meetings with rentals and florists. She helped us design how we wanted our tables to look along with reaching out directly to florists. As the day got closer, she directly reached out to all vendors, created an extensive timeline, created layouts (including rain plans) and helped me stay super organized as I was a DIY bride.

On the actual day of the wedding, Jana was a rock star. It makes sense that she comes so highly recommended. From the morning to the evening, Jana made sure things ran smoothly. Any hiccup that came up, she handled with grace and continued to check in with me to make sure my vision was coming to life. I DIYed a lot of decor, and Jana was able to create a layout in which my decor truly came to life. She has a such a great eye for this. From my ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and the reception, everything looked absolutely beautiful. Many guests came up to me to say how much they loved Jana, because she was such a boss lady, but also so respectful about it. The day could not have been possible without her. We love Jana!!!!

Hiring Jana was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! From the very beginning, she was organized, thoughtful, and genuinely excited to help us bring our vision to life. Jana and the design a dream team were phenomenal. Truly organized, lovely people to work with they made the whole experience manageable for myself and my husband to be. They made sure they got a sense of us in our day and handled everything from managing a timeline with the vendors to helping my family pack up at the end of the night. Jana and her team were nothing short of a dream to work with. She allows for all the creative space while also letting you know what's doable for your budget, vision, etc. It's the perfect balance. I got married on 10/11/2024 at Wrightsville Manor and Jana & her team made sure we had the absolute best day ever!!!!

I chose to plan most of the wedding and leverage Jana and her team for 2 months out & day of and I cannot recommend Jana enough. I interviewed other planners before booking Jana and from the first day and throughout planning she was genuine, welcoming, thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was planning my wedding out of state and luckily a wedding we were invited to also used Jana so we got to meet her after booking and she is just as dynamic in person as on video and email :)

I felt like I was prepared before our big meeting but Jana really helped fill in any gaps, make recommendations, and work w the vendors. The last month of finalizing everything was seamless and she ensured everything and everyone was on the same page with the schedule and expectations. Her knowledge of other vendors and Wilmington is great - she has a wealth of knowledge and a great eye for design. We definitely felt well prepared for our big day.

I showed up on the wedding morning in complete bliss knowing I had Jana there. I came with a bunch of totes organized by their respective space, and Jana and her team set up and styled everything beautifully. Jana understood the assignment yall. She asked me one question about picture frames and thats it besides can I get you anything? Lol

Our day was so perfect, smooth, and carefree - we didn’t want the night to end and if our vendors weren’t already booked out for next year wed do it all over again.
