My husband and I could not have been more satisfied with Kickstand! The whole team was professional, punctual, creative, and organized throughout the entire experience. While we definitely had plenty of vague ideas for our wedding, Courtney and Sally helped pull it all together to create a comprehensive vision and made sure every detail was executed perfectly. With their collective industry experience, they were able to make recommendations and connect us with vendors we didn’t even know we needed. Knowing that they were on top of everything really alleviated wedding-planning-stress that typically drives couples crazy! Above all, the day of the wedding they handled the entire operation, allowing us to truly relax, spend time with our loved ones, and enjoy the celebration we designed. If you are planning a wedding, I wouldn’t do it without them, they are the best in town!!

Where do I even begin? The ladies of Kickstand Events made all of our wedding dreams come true! It has been just about a month since our wedding and every time I think back to that day, it is hard to think of a way if could have been more perfect!! You always hear stories of brides stressing about wedding planning and complaining about how horrible it is, but I can honestly say I had the complete opposite experience. AND we have Sally, and Courtney to thank for that. They immediately understood our vision, helped us keep our priorities straight, and made the process enjoyable. Sally is a logistical genius and Courtney has an impeccable eye for design! Additionally all the teammates they have helping them behind the scenes and on wedding day are equally as amazing. I highly recommend hiring Kickstand Events for your wedding! After my first phone call with Sally, I knew that we had to work with Kickstand to plan our wedding. I instantly clicked with Sally’s bubbly personality and trusted that she would deliver on what we were looking for, which was a stress-free, fun event! Hiring a wedding planner, but specifically Kickstand Events, was a must for us because my husband and I wanted to soak up our engagement period without the stress that can come with wedding planning. We were certainly able to do this thanks to Sally, who kept me organized and took a lot of the responsibilities and pressure off of my plate.

Originally we were thought we would only need Kickstand for the planning process, but after further consideration we decided to sign on for the tandem package that includes florals and design. Courtney, who is the design expert, immediately got my vision and brought it to life! She worked with us to design exactly what I had in mind, while staying conscious of our budget. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were STUNNING and cohesive. Every detail was designed and put together in a way that my mother and I could not have achieved if we attempted DIY decor. Additionally, having Courtney work with all of our sub design vendors (programs, linens, chairs, etc.) took a huge burden off of us. I did not realize how many emails and questions you have to answer while planning a wedding, but having Courtney there to take care of everything with these vendors was so helpful!!

I’ve been to other weddings where the wedding planners look stressed or annoyed during the ceremony and reception and it’s very obvious and uncomfortable as a guest. And we’ve all been to weddings where the groomsmen complain about being bossed around by the planners. I did not want this at our wedding and this is not how Kickstand operates! Sally, Courtney, and their assistant Jessie seemed so genuinely happy to be at our wedding! I felt like if our vendors were having a good time, the wedding would go smoother and as a result be less stressful for everyone. They ran the event with smiles on their faces, while keeping everything perfect, professional, on-time, and stress free for our families and bridal party. If something went “wrong” during our wedding, I still have no clue (and neither does my mom, husband, families, friends, etc).

One thing that really stood out to me was how highly our venue and other vendors spoke of Kickstand Events. When we arrived at our venue to drop some things off a couple of days before the wedding, our venue coordinator said that this was her first time working with Kickstand and that they are now at the top of her referral list. That statement spoke volumes to hear from the other side of things. Our photographer and DJ also sung their praises. Oh and we heard from almost every guest that it was “THE BEST WEDDING EVER! We sure thought so, but I guess we weren’t just being biased. Everyone noticed how great this team was!

I am so grateful we were referred to Kickstand Events and will certainly be referring them to any friends looking for a wedding planner. Sally and Courtney were wonderful from the first day I met them until today! I am so thankful my daughter chose them as her planner and designer. We relied on them for everything and they came through with flying colors. Everyone at the wedding, including the venue team, said they were fabulous. Sally and Courtney somehow found a way to make that day even more special than we imagined. We finally had our celebration in June 2021 and it was beyond magical. Sally and Courtney created a beautiful evening – from the flowers, the décor, the thoughtful details, keeping us on track throughout the night, and making sure I always had a drink in my hand 😊 – we couldn’t have done it without them. They are organized, responsive, creative, extremely talented, and just incredible humans. I can’t even express how much I love these two sweet, kind, and very smart ladies! My daughter and I met Sally and Courtney over 2 years ago to start planning her wedding! We had no idea what we were doing, what we wanted, and we lived two hours away from the wedding venue! Sally, in her very calm and organized manner immediately put us at ease by explaining our timeline and how easy and fun it would be to navigate the whole wedding planning process. Courtney, with her very creative brain just knew how to weave a lovely description of how beautiful our event would be! We left it all on their very capable hands! We were so very excited for our daughter’s June 2020 wedding, then BAM! COVID! It all came to a screeching halt! But—Sally and Courtney, without missing a beat (and this was very new and strange territory for them to navigate), calmly guided us through the process of totally re-scheduling the entire wedding. Over the next year we planned, and planned, and planned again as the rules kept changing! We thought we had our vision for our design plan, when Courtney, at one of our last meetings, looked at my daughter and just knew the plan we had was not “her” anymore that maybe she had changed since COVID. That intuitiveness to re-create the entire plan and Sally’s efficient coordination with all of our vendors ended up turning our daughter’s wedding into something very unique and special for us—and for my daughter, it was totally “her”! It was light, and fresh and homey! Our guests all commented on how wonderful everything looked and that it felt like home! To give them that vibe of being comfortable and connected to everyone else in the room is something that will always warm my heart! They didn’t just keep us on schedule (thank God for you Sally!) and make a beautiful design plan (you’ve got mad skills, Courtney!), they created a “feeling”; a feeling of relaxed comfort and friendship and fun that ran through the whole entire evening to the point where NO ONE wanted to leave! ☺️ And those two stayed with us to the very end! I hope they had fun and enjoyed everyone else enjoying what they created! I don’t know if I’ve ever had as special of a night! You both made it magical and most of all you made our daughter’s dreams come true! We feel like we’ve made forever friends in these very special ladies and I’m hoping we can find a way to work with them again one day! Wish we could do it all over again! We just love ya Sally and Courtney! 💖
