I have know Jen for many years and love and admire her passion and creativity for what she does! Jen works to create a comfortable open space to get to know her clients personally. I feel this helps her showcase her clients personality through her photography. For my wedding I allowed and trusted Jen fully to incorporate her own talents to highlight us as a couple. She was silly, easy to work with, complimentary, and prompt throughout the process. I found her style to be very candid and in the moment which was exactly what we’d hoped for. I’ve had numerous compliments on the work that she did for our wedding and have been able to refer many friends and family to her! She even helped bustle my dress and keep my unruly groomsmen on track. Jens passion, style, and eye for quality shine through every photo. We had such a fun and easy time getting to know her!

Reliving my wedding day and realized we somehow had not yet written these wonderful people a review (So sorry!!). BOOK ROCHELLE AND TOM. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, aside from marrying each other I guess. :) 1) They are brilliant behind the lens. Their candids are especially wonderful and capture our favorite moments. Looking at them, I'm instantly back re-living that day. We get compliments on them constantly. They look natural and are not overly edited but capture us at moments where we both feel beautiful and genuine. They did a great job capturing family, friends and, of course, the bridal party, but they put extra thought into our couple photos, and they are my favorite pictures ever (and I rarely like photos of myself!) I can't tell you how much I love them! 2) Rochelle and Tom are organized and thorough. Prior to the wedding day, I wasn't aware of how huge of a difference this makes. They helped the day flow flawlessly and kept us on schedule. They checked in with us as necessary but also were well-prepared enough that I could absolutely trusted them. They were fantastic at blending in with our friends and family, organizing groups (even my giant, loud family:)) and ensuring we got all the shots we wanted. Rochelle was very organized prior to the day of and had all of the specific family and friend group shots we wanted laid out; this made this process quick and easy. She and Tom led in a friendly way. 3) They are fantastic communicators! Any questions I had were answered quickly way ahead of time. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. Rochelle was good at reminded me what needed to be done photography-wise prior to the big day. 4) They are just genuine, kind people. My husband and I are not crazy about having our photos taken and were nervous about feeling like we had a camera in our face all day. It could not have felt more opposite. We were 100% able to be our goofy selves around Rochelle and Tom; they made us so comfortable. In fact, some of my favorite pictures I didn't even realize were being taken. (Although they do plenty of portrait shots too, if that's what you're looking for!) I still cry with joy over my wedding photos, and this would not have been possible without Rochelle and Tom. The investment for their talent, warmth and organization is 100% worth it.

The first thing we did to prepare for our wedding was to find and book a photographer. I looked around just a bit but knew we really wanted someone that was familiar and comfortable with queer weddings. I stumbled across Charnell and knew right away she was the one we needed! She had an a amazing portfolio and i actually knew a few of the couples she had worked with in the past. Our initial meeting was great and she so put us at ease with her sweet and fun personality. our communication between booking and the wedding was always prompt and very helpful. The day of our wedding she arrived early to scout out the property and was so patient with us and the family chaos. Once we got into couple pictures she had us relaxed and enjoying the process. She was so great with all of our family photos and really got everyone in happy, smiley mood. Our ceremony pictures were beautiful and she captured all of the brilliant northern Minnesota colors even better than we dreamed! 10/10 I would work with and recommend Charnell Timms over and over again. She helped us capture beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
