Look no further for your wedding photographer. Seriously. Stop looking and just go with Penny and Earl. Words cannot describe how amazing these people are both as genuine people and photographers. They made the day such fun and really got to know the whole family. They totally felt like part of the family. We got to see a sneak peak a couple days after the wedding and they were so amazing! I cannot wait to see the rest because I know they will be stunning. Highly highly recommend Penny and Earl. You absolutely will not be disappointed. I am so unbelievably happy we went with Penny Photographics. They are super responsive and helped us create our timeline that was efficient and we still had some downtime before the ceremony. Besides the groom, this was the best wedding decision :)

Hiring Penny and Earl, plus taking our engagement "adventure session" pictures was the easiest part of wedding planning. We met up with them for a first meeting, pre-covid, at a wonderful cafe and right away felt so comfortable. We had been on a couple other meet ups with photographers and it felt awkward, but right away with these two it seemed like you were just hanging out with your friends.

They have been incredible and despite a rather cold day our engagement "adventure session" photos turned out amazing! The adventure session was amazing because we were able to take time to warm up, change outfits, change locations, take pictures with and without our beloved dogs and fix up hair/make up. Aside from the fantastic pictures, the adventure session without time limits really sold us originally.

Despite the adventure session lasting about 5 hours, including travel/warning up/primping, the time seemed to fly by. I know many friends who have felt exhausted after a 1 hour engagement shoot but Penny and Earl made it so relaxed. We never felt like we had to force a smile and we ended up with so so so many great pictures.

We can't wait to see what fantastic pictures they take on the wedding day.

It's been a year and half since our wedding and I'm still not sure how to describe how incredible Penny & Earl are.

- Weddings are stressful; I'm sure you're already stressed and you're just at the beginning stages of planning. If you want a team that is going to be ORGANIZED, DETAIL ORIENTED, and COMMUNICATE with you every step of the way... Penny & Earl are perfect for you.

- It's easy to get snowballed by the all of the day of events going on, even with the best planning, somethings will go wrong and you might have start to miss the point that; Hey! It's your wedding day! If you want a team that are going to be reassuring, fun, and remind you to take a breath and enjoy the day... Penny & Earl are perfect for you. (Side Story: the morning of my wedding I noticed the cleaners had stained a "large" section of the top of my dress that the hanger was hiding... when Penny walked in the room she was so reassuring that the stain, that I thought was THE WORST THING TO EVER HAPPEN, was not. She reminded me that this is not what I should focus on, that I will look beautiful no matter what, and that nothing should take away from what today is. After speaking for a brief moment with Penny I realized this stain was much smaller than I originally allowed myself to think and that she was correct; this is not the end of the world. In just that instance Penny unknowingly saved the day). If you want a team that CARES about you and is not just there for a paycheck then... Penny & Earl are perfect for you.

- You do not want to have a mental checklist running through your head in concerns to your photos.. Trust me, you're going to have a million other details crammed in there you'll forget if you put on deodorant and probably apply it again another 3-6 more times. If you want a team that you can TRUST to have your photo list memorized, prioritized, and captured beautifully then Penny & Earl are perfect for you.

- If you've ever been in a wedding party you know how excruciating those group photos can be... the waiting... the wishing you could enjoy the cocktail hour with all the other guests... it's cold, it's hot, you need to pee.... they can be the worst. But I can tell you that even in the 36 degree TEXAS freak weather our group photos were FUN. They went by quickly because of how efficiently Penny & Earl were. I'm not biased even my mom (who is cold in 70 degree weather) said she had so much fun that she didn't realize we had taken so many poses. If you want a team that is going to make the mundane FUN then... Penny & Earl are perfect for you.

The photos were beautiful. I mean it.. BEAUTIFUL. I receive compliments on them daily (from social media) and in fact one of my photos is an award winning photo! YEAH.. THEY'RE AWARDING WINNING PHOTOGRAPHERS. I'm not sure how they were able to capture the laughter, tears, and LOVE in a still photo but they did. Looking through my photos I feel like the wedding was just yesterday.

Again- I'd like to think that this review does Penny & Earl justice.. but it just doesn't. By far, the BEST decision we ever made was choosing to go with this fantastic team. I'm tearing up now only because I will FOREVER be grateful to Penny & Earl for not just saving the day but capturing it beautifully.

Penny and Earl were hands down one of the best decisions we made when hiring vendors for our wedding. From the beginning to the end they offered endless support, advice, and guidance making them really more than just photographers. Not really being comfortable in front of a camera, they made us feel so relaxed in both our adventure session and our wedding day. My entire wedding party and my family couldn’t stop commenting on how Penny and Earl were so much fun and made them feel comfortable as well. Their experience and professionalism shines through, allowing you to relax and have the best day of your lives. We couldn’t have been more ecstatic after getting all of our photos back, they were absolutely gorgeous and captured so many wonderful memories. You don’t want to regret not hiring a great photographer, your photos are really the only thing that can capture those moments on the most important day of your lives and I promise you, you will not regret hiring Penny and Earl to be the ones to capture those memories for you!

Penny and Earl were nothing less than a dream to work with. Not only is their work exceptional, artistic, and heartfelt, but they made an effort to get to know us as a couple which made us so much more comfortable in front of the camera, which really showed through in our photos. Choosing them as our photographers was one of our best decisions in wedding planning. They have a true gift.

Penny and Earl were absolutely amazing to work with and are so much fun! It was important to my husband and I to find a photographer we enjoy being around because we were going to spend our whole wedding day with them. We had a blast with both Penny and Earl during our adventure session as well as on our wedding day! They are great to work with and always quick to respond to emails/phone calls. But most importantly, their photos are AMAZING!!! My husband and I absolutely LOVED all of our engagement and wedding photos!! They did an awesome job in capturing everything that went on during the day! And to top it all off, their albums are fantastic and Penny spends time to make sure it is everything you want it to be! Both my husband and I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I are so fortunate to have found Penny (and her assistant/husband Earl) to photograph our important day. We understood the importance of good chemistry with our photographer and we felt it straight away. Penny and Earl's fun, easy going, and adventurous personality was a perfect fit for us! Her extensive knowledge on weddings and our venue (Green Acres) made planning the schedule effortless.

She had great ideas and listened to ours as a couple as well. We did our first look in the woods and her enthusiasm for our connection to the location and desire to incorporate it into our photos was contagious. She worked well with our bridal party and was fun to have with us all day.

Most importantly, Penny and Early love dogs and know what they are doing when it comes to photographing them. It was essential to have a photographer that could include our dog into the photos since she was joining us for the celebration. Our dog loved them even before she knew they had peanut butter!

Penny and Earl did an AMAZING job with both our engagement and wedding photos. I love that they were able to capture our personalities and we were able to be completely comfortable with them. Our search for a photographer was quite grim until we happened upon Penny. She is so easy to connect with and helped with much more than photography. To keep it short until I begin to digress, she is the best we could have imagined.

HIRE HER. Penny is the BEST. Our wedding photos are beyond my wildest expectations. From the candid to the staged, she managed to capture every emotion of our day. On top of superb work, she is a lovely human being. Penny took the time to learn what we wanted, was flexible with us, and offered wonderful suggestions. Honestly, she could be charging a lot more for her services and skill. Importantly, for me, she knew when she had to reign in our wild wedding party to get shots done and keep me from becoming bridezilla :).
