Wedding Photography in Rochester

Ken was super easy to work with and fun to have with our group. I absolutely LOVE the photos and have gotten soooo many comments on them! He got so many great moments and details I had even missed. I very highly recommend him.

Working with Kim was great. From our first emails to our first meeting, it was very apparent that she knows the wedding photography business very well and is comfortable within it. Looking through her website, I noticed that she has a natural journalism style that messes around a bit with the camera settings to take artistically composed photos which ultimately convinced me that she could style my photos the way that I would. I am not a professional photographer, but I know enough to appreciate the hard work she has put in to get where she is. Kim had been to our venue as a patron before but not as a photographer and offered to come early to poke around and plan out the day. She took in the details of our venue and took the time to have a spatial awareness for background as well as foreground. Looking at the photos on her camera immediately after taking them, I'm not sure who was more excited. She has a love of her art and it shows. On the day of the wedding, she was calm and composed- which every bride appreciates! The atmosphere she and the second photographer created was very relaxed. The experience was a lot of fun and it seemed as if the time we spent taking photos was time for the two of us to take in the day.

John Sharpe is an incredible photographer - we are so glad we chose him for our engagement and wedding photos. We had scheduled to meet with a few photographers but as soon as we met John, our first appointment, we knew he was right for us. John is very easy to talk with and put us at ease, which is really important when it comes to feeling comfortable in front of a camera. He is professional and prompt and all the business dealings went smoothly. His style is classic and timeless, and we found his prices to be very reasonable considering the quality of the photography and the whole experience. Because we had a winter wedding, we wanted to be sure to choose a photographer who was great with light and not afraid of being creative in different situations (snow, indoors, etc.). We chose to purchase one of his beautifully made albums, and we will treasure the pictures and the quality of the album our whole lives. John was perfect and I recommend him to everyone!

Josh did an amazing job. He made both of us feel at ease. He didn't pressure us into doing anything we weren't comfortable with. My grandpa was in the hospital during our wedding, and Josh agreed to go with and take pictures of us visiting him. He captured so many moments that I didn't even know happened - so thankful for him!

We worked with Alexandre for our wedding and engagement pictures. He is absolutely fabulous. He is extremely professional, keeps us laughing all the time and takes beautiful pictures. I would recommend him to any friends and will use him for family photos and celebrations in the future. His service is also a great value, fairly priced and really does go above and beyond to make you happy. At one point during our engagement session he was laying in the middle of the street about to get run over by oncoming traffic (trying to get a picture of us in front of the restaurant where we met) - of course I told him to please get up but - he got the picture! He is fabulous!
