It’s such a joy getting married here! The venue is of course beautiful and had many of our guests going “What? A castle?” Everyone loved the experience of being there and being able to take photos on the Castle steps. Yes, it is far from the city, but we warned our guests and they were okay to drive home. This venue was a lot cheaper than others in New Orleans and the food was good as well. We wished we could have tried the food options prior to making selections, but it ended up fine regardless. Dolly is so sweet and makes sure that your financials are on track without being overbearing. Mary was instrumental in making the day go smoothly. My side of the family has a language barrier, and even they thought she was amazing and so easy to work with. She took care of so much and used her experience to make everything run well while also allowing us to do what we wanted as the bride and groom. Our bartenders were running late due to a van breakdown, and the Castle staff got all hands on deck to unload the alcohol and make sure that cocktail hour would still happen as planned. The views here made for the most incredible photos. Even better was staying at the Castle overnight – we got to walk around after all the guests had left, and the views from the Juliette Suite the next morning were gorgeous. The cleanup staff were so considerate and had taken their shoes off so that they wouldn’t wake us up while they cleaned the ballroom! Overall – we had a dream wedding and can’t recommend Louisiana Castle enough.

Wow. Southern Oaks completely exceeded anything I had in mind for my wedding. Everything from planning my wedding to execution on the day of was flawless. The communication with them was so easy, they answered every call, question, and email promptly. I was planning this wedding from Texas and they made it as seamless as possible. Many of my guests were from out of town and they were In awe of the property and food. Many of my guests say it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to and the food was exceptional. I wish I could re live my day. I am forever grateful to southern oaks for giving me my dream wedding.

This was my perfect vision for my dream wedding! We will come back here often just to reminisce!

We absolutely loved this place. Everyone was so available and willing to help us with any need we may have had. Jordan was awesome from start to finish with helping plan and organize even through the pandemic. Alexa stepped in and assisted in every way that she could to make sure that any decor and fixtures were set up and placed where they needed to be. The scenery was so beautiful at this venue, we didn't have to do much to decorate. Actually, we only had to bring the bare minimum because it was naturally beautiful. We loved it here. Food was delicious and everything we imagined it to be.

Our rehearsal dinner could not have been more magical, and that’s entirely thanks to this incredible venue. The perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The décor was breathtaking— evoking the history and charm of the French Quarter of days gone by—and created the ideal backdrop for photos and heartfelt toasts. The staff went above and beyond to make every detail seamless. They were attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and their timing was impeccable. What impressed us most was how effortlessly the venue handled the flow of the evening. Everything felt coordinated and smooth, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy time with our loved ones before the big day. It set the tone for our wedding weekend perfectly. We loved our rooms with the balcony overlooking beautiful Esplanade Avenue! If you’re looking for a true New Orleans experience and rehearsal dinner venue that combines exceptional service, unforgettable ambiance, and genuine hospitality, look no further. This place is an absolute gem!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at the Mazant this past March. Everything about the place was beautiful, and our overall experience met all of our needs and exceeded all of our expectations. We had booked the Mazant sight unseen based upon a recommendation from our wedding planner, who had herself gotten married there. We weren't exactly sure how it would be in real life, and we are beyond grateful for her recommendation and that we took the leap! We rented the whole place for ourselves and for some of our wedding party to sleep there. We had 18 people (all adults with a mix of couples and friends) staying there, and it never felt crowded. Each room is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen and overall common space layout is delightful and so well designed. They have everything you might need for large events (LOTS of fridge space). The pool and hot tub and outdoor seating areas are divine. On Friday night we hosted our welcome event (~160 people) in the yard, and it was exactly what we envisioned. On Saturday we had our ceremony (~170) in the yard, and it was also perfect. We had enough room for most people to sit, and about 20-30 standing in the back. We then second lined from the Mazant to our reception location. Interacting with Jeff the owner and Kevin the house manager was great - they were both super helpful, responsive, and organized. We are already talking about coming back and renting this space for friend or family trips!

Thank you so much to everyone over at Louisiana Cajun Mansion for truly making my wedding day such a magical experience. Susan & the rest of the team communicated & worked with me every step of the way to bring my vision to life down to every last detail. Everyone was so kind & accommodating, especially with me being out of town, they made me feel completely at ease even not having physically seen the venue until the day of my wedding! Everything looked absolutely beautiful, and even with some unexpected rain, the whole team handled it flawlessly to execute a seamless transition of bringing the reception inside & it all worked out in the end. This venue provides an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home & I would absolutely recommend Louisiana Cajun Mansion for weddings or any event. Thank you again!

The Terrell House was an excellent choice for our wedding and stay! We rented out the entirety of the bed and breakfast for the weekend of our wedding day! Anica, the coordinator, Alex, the chef, and ALL the staff were incredible. Linda was by far the best she worked with us to achieve our dream wedding and she went above and beyond for us. My wife and I will always be eternally grateful for all that was done for us. If you have the opportunity to host your own wedding here don’t hesitate!

If you are looking for a venue or a catering company Ashley Manornis for you. They were wonderful and food was fabulous. My daughters wedding was postponed for a year due to a motorcycle acode t 2 days before the weeding and Shannon. He led in with us numerous times to see how Nick was. Trying a wonderful company and the best person to work with.

Our daughters wedding & reception was held at Ormond Plantation. It was more then we could hope for! As we were lining up, it started raining. We were giving the option to move the ceremony or to wait a few minutes for the rain to stop. As soon as it stopped raining, the staff dried all chairs and the ceremony started. Everything was great! Our family stayed at the Plantation & Cheif Richard prepared breakfast. Thank You to Robin, Peggy & Cheif Richard as well as the entire staff that made this possible.
