It’s such a joy getting married here! The venue is of course beautiful and had many of our guests going “What? A castle?” Everyone loved the experience of being there and being able to take photos on the Castle steps. Yes, it is far from the city, but we warned our guests and they were okay to drive home. This venue was a lot cheaper than others in New Orleans and the food was good as well. We wished we could have tried the food options prior to making selections, but it ended up fine regardless. Dolly is so sweet and makes sure that your financials are on track without being overbearing. Mary was instrumental in making the day go smoothly. My side of the family has a language barrier, and even they thought she was amazing and so easy to work with. She took care of so much and used her experience to make everything run well while also allowing us to do what we wanted as the bride and groom. Our bartenders were running late due to a van breakdown, and the Castle staff got all hands on deck to unload the alcohol and make sure that cocktail hour would still happen as planned. The views here made for the most incredible photos. Even better was staying at the Castle overnight – we got to walk around after all the guests had left, and the views from the Juliette Suite the next morning were gorgeous. The cleanup staff were so considerate and had taken their shoes off so that they wouldn’t wake us up while they cleaned the ballroom! Overall – we had a dream wedding and can’t recommend Louisiana Castle enough.

I had the pleasure of having my wedding at Southern Oaks in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am born and raised California girl who married a New Orleans southern gentleman. My husband was very adamant that we have our wedding in New Orleans and he knew the exact venue. He bragged about Southern Oaks and wanted me to have the most beautiful wedding experience. Being from California, I wasn’t sure what to expect But from day, one, the hospitality and communication with everyone at Southern Oaks was just absolutely amazing. We were fortunate enough to work with a lot of beautiful people, including Lauren our wedding coordinator. Not only does she listen to me, but she was very attentive one on one, even though I lived in California she made sure everything was perfectly arranged. When we arrived a few days before our wedding, she went over every little detail with us. I was able to drop off all the little special things that we’re gonna be details to make it that much more special. They absolutely did not disappoint. I have never attended a wedding like mine. All my friends from California were absolutely floored on how beautiful and how much fun the wedding was. The food, the drinks the people catering to everyone the entire experience was absolutely, priceless. There is nothing I can say but it was absolutely perfect. Bobby the owner was an angel. He brought an extra flare and sparkle to my wedding as a gift. If I were to do it all over again I would pick Southern Oaks 1000 times over. Gosh I would love to crush a wedding next time I go just so I can experience being a guest there lol it was such a great phenomenal day for us and we are so grateful to Southern oaks and other staff and owner. I would recommend this venue 1000 times over and I would like to say thank you again to everyone who tended to us on April 20, 2024 you gave us the best possible and we are extremely grateful 🥰🩷

This was my perfect vision for my dream wedding! We will come back here often just to reminisce!

We absolutely loved this place. Everyone was so available and willing to help us with any need we may have had. Jordan was awesome from start to finish with helping plan and organize even through the pandemic. Alexa stepped in and assisted in every way that she could to make sure that any decor and fixtures were set up and placed where they needed to be. The scenery was so beautiful at this venue, we didn't have to do much to decorate. Actually, we only had to bring the bare minimum because it was naturally beautiful. We loved it here. Food was delicious and everything we imagined it to be.

The Lanaux Mansion is incredible; from the history to the architecture, there isn’t a better intimate location for a New Orleans wedding. The staff was even more amazing. They were so incredibly kind and helpful in the planning process and were such great hosts for our family and friends. We rented out the entire venue for the weekend for lodging, wedding ceremony, and reception. Beth and her team became our family. We still keep in touch over 4 years later!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at the Mazant this past March. Everything about the place was beautiful, and our overall experience met all of our needs and exceeded all of our expectations. We had booked the Mazant sight unseen based upon a recommendation from our wedding planner, who had herself gotten married there. We weren't exactly sure how it would be in real life, and we are beyond grateful for her recommendation and that we took the leap! We rented the whole place for ourselves and for some of our wedding party to sleep there. We had 18 people (all adults with a mix of couples and friends) staying there, and it never felt crowded. Each room is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen and overall common space layout is delightful and so well designed. They have everything you might need for large events (LOTS of fridge space). The pool and hot tub and outdoor seating areas are divine. On Friday night we hosted our welcome event (~160 people) in the yard, and it was exactly what we envisioned. On Saturday we had our ceremony (~170) in the yard, and it was also perfect. We had enough room for most people to sit, and about 20-30 standing in the back. We then second lined from the Mazant to our reception location. Interacting with Jeff the owner and Kevin the house manager was great - they were both super helpful, responsive, and organized. We are already talking about coming back and renting this space for friend or family trips!

The Terrell House was an excellent choice for our wedding and stay! We rented out the entirety of the bed and breakfast for the weekend of our wedding day! Anica, the coordinator, Alex, the chef, and ALL the staff were incredible. Linda was by far the best she worked with us to achieve our dream wedding and she went above and beyond for us. My wife and I will always be eternally grateful for all that was done for us. If you have the opportunity to host your own wedding here don’t hesitate!

If you are looking for a venue or a catering company Ashley Manornis for you. They were wonderful and food was fabulous. My daughters wedding was postponed for a year due to a motorcycle acode t 2 days before the weeding and Shannon. He led in with us numerous times to see how Nick was. Trying a wonderful company and the best person to work with.

Our daughters wedding & reception was held at Ormond Plantation. It was more then we could hope for! As we were lining up, it started raining. We were giving the option to move the ceremony or to wait a few minutes for the rain to stop. As soon as it stopped raining, the staff dried all chairs and the ceremony started. Everything was great! Our family stayed at the Plantation & Cheif Richard prepared breakfast. Thank You to Robin, Peggy & Cheif Richard as well as the entire staff that made this possible.

The photos do not do this place justice. We were in a wedding here, stayed the night with the bridal party, places like this are hard to find. We are still in awe with the whole experience. Theresa and her team are the best in the business hands down. It’s not the cheapest but they include an overnight stay and it is beyond incredible. They don’t have onsite catering but they provide a list, and the food was hot and flavorful-I think it was Unique Catering and Events. We will be back for our family reunion!
