Houmas House Estate and Gardens offers an elegant setting for wedding and events. From grand ceremonies and receptions to the most intimate elopements, our event liaison will ensure every detail is perfect.
With several indoor venues to choose from, both small and large weddings can be accommodated. Outdoor ceremonies beneath the oak alley, accompanied by the Houmas Mansion as a backdrop, a picture perfect setting is inevitable. The nearby Mississippi River provides a steady breeze across the front lawn as the sunset casts dancing shadows through the moss-draped Oaks.
Following the outdoor ceremony, dinner and dancing in one of the ballrooms is the highlight of the night. Our wedding menu offers a large selection of buffet or seated dinner options that will impress any guests.
