Its location may be familiar to TV and movie fans, with the historic B&B appearing throughout Brad Pitt's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Since 1879, it has been frequented by actors, movie crews, and prominent figures from history, as well as besotted couples planning to celebrate their wedding day with style and grace.
Facilities and Capacity
Bedecked in lavish 19th-century decor, the French Quarter Lanaux Mansion is capable of hosting weddings, corporate events, birthdays, cocktail receptions, and so much more. Civil War-era wallpaper, several pieces of furniture, and a grand piano have stood the test of time, with the piano still capable of making beautiful music at over 170 years old. It sits proudly in the Benjamin Button Salon, a reception area featuring vaulted ceilings that soar overhead, and a perfect mix of classic period architecture and sophisticated, refined amenities. The Salon accommodates up to 60 people for a seated dinner, and a further 40 for a standing reception, while the overall capacity can reach 150 when pairing the room together with its outdoor courtyard.
