Welcome to The Vintage Magnolia House and thank you for considering us for your event! The Vintage Magnolia House is an 1800’s historic home that has been newly renovated for private events and is located in downtown New Roads, Louisiana near the beautiful False River and conveniently nestled between Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Natchez.

The vision for VMH was inspired from the breathtaking magical front and back garden and southern style grand front porch that is overlooking beautiful landscaping and a fountain. The porch is outfitted with a comfortable swing and patio seating that are just perfect for that cup of morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Inside, VMH is beautifully decorated with vintage style chandelier lighting, custom florals, and a wide open hallway with original hardwood floors that provides an inviting, grand, southern atmosphere.

VMH also offers state of the art indoor/outdoor surround sound, outdoor portable air conditioning to keep you comfortable in the back garden 40’ high rise tent peaking up to 21' in the center, as well as a custom built covered stage for your choice of band or DJ. Our Carriage House, connecting to the garden / patio, is perfect to accommodate hors d’oeuvres or lunch / dinner for your party. With affordability in mind, we offer flexibility to bring in your own caterer or alcohol that meets your individual budget requirements.

VMH encourages you to stay in comfort and style in one of our 4 bedroom / bathroom suites all privately located upstairs and beautifully decorated in a quaint vintage yet shabby chic style. Plan to be pampered in our hair salon and nail spa which are available for you to bring in your own personal stylist or hired in via VMH to keep your day stress free and unforgettable. We even offer photography services to capture every detail of your day, all in the beauty of VMH.

With luxury in mind, we are here for you to feel pampered from the moment you arrive until departure! We cater to individuals and groups for a variety of event options. While we have the bride and her bridal party in mind, we welcome you to celebrate your retirement, bridal / baby showers, girl's get a way, garden tea party, cocktail party, business events, and more.
