10/10 for places to have a wedding reception! We had our wedding reception here and it was perfect! It’s been a year since our wedding and our friends and family members are still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were. We had to get a tent because we had about 120 people, but they handled all the details for us. All staff members were so kind and were great to work with (Robbie is the best bartender around and he was a must have at our reception!). Robbie also constantly made sure I had everything I needed which helped out greatly throughout the night. Marc and Kris made sure we had all the details ironed out and ensured everything was beautiful and ran smoothly. We chose this place because the food is incredible (wine and cocktails, too!) and it was nothing short of top notch that night. They stayed opened 2 hours or so after the reception was supposed to be over because everyone was having such a great time! The only thing I regret was having too much fun dancing and missing out on the dessert which I was greatly looking forward to. Some day soon we’ll be back for it 😋

Alpine Steak House catered our wedding and I can't even express how pleased I was that we went with them. Working with Matt and Matt was amazing. I met with them initially and was worried they were going to suggest a sit down dinner of steak and potatoes and to be honest they weren't really in the running when I was hitting up caterers during one of my visits to Sarasota (did it to appease my parents who are local). I could not have been more excited with what transpired. Chef Matt built a menu for me that was exactly what I was looking for, lots of appetizers and station style dinner with tons of diversity, creativity and quality food to choose from. When meeting with him he kept popping into the kitchen and coming out with one wonderful entrée after another. Manager Matt's attention to detail at our reception was second to none. They made everything perfect!! My guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was, grilled oysters, caramelized bacon, tenderloin canapé, seared tuna, stuffed mushrooms (3 kinds), chicken satay. Stations were salad, seafood, sliders, pasta and dessert. "The Matt(s)" made my reception perfect, even getting red wine off my dress when a bridesmaid spilled it all over the back. I feel like I made friends for life. They also catered the parents dinner the Wednesday prior to my wedding, which was steak and potatoes and that was awesome too!!! My only regret was not eating more (bride fail) but that was my fault seeing as Matt kept bringing us food!! Hire them for your next event, you won't be disappointed!

We had our wedding reception in the upstairs room of this restaurant. We got the whole upstairs to ourselves, so we were really happy to have that privacy. We had about 28 guests total, and the venue worked out great! The amount of space was perfect and since there was already a grand piano in the room, we were able to hire one of the pianists from the restaurant for a reasonable fee so all of our music was provided throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious and all the guests got to choose from a customized menu, so we were happy to provide a lot of choices instead of having to limit to only 1-2 entrees like you sometimes see at weddings. It was the perfect laid-back but still classy reception that we wanted. Thank you, Crab & Fin!

We hired the Polpo Pizza Co for the rehearsal party prior to my daughter's wedding. They parked their wood-fired pizza truck at the venue and proceeded to prepare the menu we had selected. The pizzas were outstanding and served with a beautiful presentation. They also prepared an appetizer, salad and dessert. We had selected s'mores for the dessert. They were beautiful and were a hit at the party, especially with my grandsons. Danni at the Polpo Pizza Co was very excited to help plan this event. She was willing to take the time to explain the choices for the menu and help us select the options that were best for us. She returned phone calls always within a reasonable time. Danni and her crew were very sociable and interacted well with the guests at the party. Having the pizza truck at the venue offered a relaxed atmosphere and everyone had a wonderful time. We heard so many compliments about the food and how great it was to have this vendor there. I would definitely recommend the Polpo Pizza Co for your next event.
