Facilities and Capacity
Zota Beach Resort offers over 2,700 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, and can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. With a sun-bleached wooden boardwalk for your wedding aisle and the Gulf of Mexico as your backdrop, the North Beach Ceremony area is perfect for events of up to 200 guests. For smaller weddings and cocktail hours, the open-air Sunset Terrace overlooks the resort pool and the Gulf of Mexico. The terrace seats up to 60 guests. Larger wedding receptions take place in the elegant Zara Zota Ballroom, which features a beachside ambiance, grand 13-foot ceilings, and contemporary chandeliers. The room can be divided into smaller sections if desired. For couples looking for an outdoor reception, the gulf-side sand garden is also available for a unique picnic or tented occasion.
Services Offered
As an Opal Collection hotel and resort, Zota Beach Resort features a team of experienced event personnel and wedding specialists dedicated to working by your side throughout the planning process. Depending on your needs, your specialist coordinates every detail or—for do-it-yourself couples—simply provides advice. If desired, specialists select and manage vendors, coordinate memorable activities for you and your guests, and plan pre- or post-wedding pampering for you in the acclaimed resort spas. Chairs, tables, linens, chair covers, sashes, glassware, barware, flatware, and china are included in all wedding packages. Parking is complimentary, and all locations are wheelchair accessible. Shuttle and valet service is available upon request.
Cuisine
Zota Beach Resort specializes in crafting custom menus for your reception uniquely tailored to your taste and preferences. All wedding packages include five butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, an elegant plated dinner or buffet, a traditional wedding cake, coffee and tea service, a sparkling champagne toast, four hours of open bar, premium well brands, imported and domestic beer, and a selection of fine wine.
Accommodations
Zota Beach Resort features 187 spacious guest rooms and suites. All hotel rooms and suites feature plush beds and flat-screen televisions, and most units have a spacious balcony. Mini-refrigerators and coffee makers are also provided. Suites feature separate living and sleeping spaces, and select premium suites offer a full kitchen and dining area. All units enjoy in-room dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Available amenities include a stylish, innovative restaurant, a chic wine bar with an extensive wine list, and a sun-drenched, gulf front, infinity edge outdoor pool with an accompanying lounge and poolside service.

A Perfect Wedding Weekend! Truly Exceptional Experience at Zota Beach Resort
We hosted a welcome party the first evening and our wedding celebration the next day. Because many of our guests traveled from other countries and cities, we all stayed at the hotel throughout the weekend and it was wonderful. Even many local guests from Sarasota chose to stay the night so they could fully enjoy the celebration without driving afterward. Having everyone together in one place made the whole weekend unforgettable.
Working with Jackie McCallister, Zota’s Catering & Events Manager, was truly exceptional. She responded incredibly fast to every email, was flexible, professional, and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. She facilitated everything with such ease and warmth that it genuinely elevated our whole experience.
The food was delicious, the venue is beautiful, and the value for money was excellent considering the quality, service, and convenience. Zota was able to meet our budget needs while delivering an amazing experience from beginning to end.
I wholeheartedly recommend Zota Beach Resort to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-organized, and memorable wedding venue and especially recommend working with Jackie. She truly made our wedding weekend unforgettable.
