Wedding Venues in New Haven

We couldn't be happier with our experience having our wedding at New Haven Lawn Club. This venue is a hidden gem; the most gorgeous architecture and AMAZING food and attentive staff. Karen was incredible and so supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was patient, kind, and kept us organized. There wasn't a single thing that we asked for that NHLC wasn't able to accommodate; even confetti at the end of our reception! They also allow for real candlelight, which creates an amazing ambiance. Seriously, this place is incredible. Highly recommend!

Many of our guests plus bridal party and parents stayed at the Omni New Haven. My daughter's wedding at the New Haven Lawn Club was 1/2 mile away. We booked the Presidential Suite for pictures and they were beautiful! The view is impressive! We also had a breakfast Sunday morning that exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff and my contact Laura S. was amazing. She answered all my questions and helped me tremendously. I highly recommend the Omni New Haven for your wedding accommodations needs! We had our wedding reception here on 7/25/21 and we had a phenomenal experience! Our guests were impressed with the exceptional service, incredible food, and the elegant ambiance. Christina, the event coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure the evening was perfect. I highly, highly recommend this venue!

Everyone one at Seasons was amazing! So professional and kind. Renee helped us every step of the way. She was so responsive with every question I had and they accommodated my and my husband’s every need. I highly recommend!

This is a City of New Haven property that you can rent out for weddings. It's beautiful -- a unique space right on the beach, with a historic carousel and lighthouse. My now-wife literally cried with happiness seeing some of the guest photos the next day. Sabrina Bruno (the main city point of contact) was fantastic -- she is very responsive and answered any/all questions we had leading up to the wedding. Do be aware that you'll need to bring in a caterer and arrange for setup/breakdown of Lighthouse Point's tables and chairs. Fitzgeralds out of Bridgeport did both for us and was excellent. Additionally, we rented outside chairs for a beach ceremony from Happy Days out of East Haven -- would similarly recommend.

We recently had our wedding ceremony & reception at the Pequonnock Yacht Club, and I wanted to write a review so that other brides looking for small wedding venues in the area would be able to find this place, since I had a hard time finding it! The Yacht Club is upstairs from Sage American Grill in the City Point neighborhood of New Haven, meaning that it is overlooking the water. It is the perfect size for a small wedding (we had ~35 guests, and it probably would have been comfortable up to about 50 guests depending on setup), with a small dance floor (+ stereo system you can hook up your iPod/laptop to!), outdoor deck w/beautiful views, and catering by Sage (which is great!). Bob, the guy who runs the club, is so nice and patiently answered all of my questions leading up to the day, and did not mind us visiting a few times prior to the wedding to figure out setup, test out the stereo, etc. The rental fee is affordable especially if you use Sage's catering (which you should because it's awesome!). They were very flexible and accomodating to all of our requests. We originally were going to hold our ceremony at another location, but at the last minute decided to hold it at the yacht club on their dance floor and it was just beautiful. One thing to be aware of is that because this is a private club that members pay to have access to, they are unable to fully close off their bar & deck area to their club members. The rest of the room is yours when you rent it, but you will likely have a few yacht club members at the bar or hanging out on the deck during your wedding. We did not really mind this, although there were definitely more people there than we expected, but just something to know ahead of time! There were probably only about 15 or so people there at any given time... not a big deal. I was so happy I didn't care! Overall we were really happy with our experience here!

The Elm City Club (Graduate Club) is a beautiful venue that takes care of everything for you. One point of contact, Sandra, for your food (which is awesome), and choices. You can choose to scale up or scale down your wedding with appetizers, dessert bars, actual bar options. You have the flexibility to be simple or extremely high end. We loved the lobster roll sliders, the food in general, and the fact that Sandra worked with us to have a slider bar at 10:00 pm. Plus, there are guest rooms and a library upstairs so there's great options for the bridal party to stay and to get ready at the venue, but in a different place. You are the only event at the venue, and our wedding was absolutely stunning.

We celebrated our wedding reception at the Quinnipiack Club and it was a wonderful, elegant night to remember! From the beginning, Ashley and Sandra were professional and kind, receptive to all of our questions and inquiries. We planned the wedding from 300 miles away, so we jam packed our planning into long weekends and countless emails. The Q Club staff (to include Ashley, Sandra, Shelby, Natasha, Denise, Allison, John, and so many more) were consummate professionals and were very giving in both their time, patience, and resources. On the day of the wedding they went the extra mile, helping my Mother decorate with some additional flowers and candles! The wedding flowed seamlessly from the cocktail hour, to dinner stations, to dancing, to the late night snack, etc. The Q Club provided our guests with excellent service, and the food and beverages were fantastic. Even after the reception, the Q Club was taking care of us! Shelby and John surprised us by leaving a beautiful display of champagne, leftovers, and our favorite beer in our room after the reception ended. Thanks to the Q Club staff, and Ashley and Sandra in particular, we will always look back on our wedding fondly. The venue is classic, beautiful, and elegant, and the staff truly takes care of you. We can't thank the Q Club enough for hosting our wedding so beautifully!

Thank you Ryan for an amazing post-wedding brunch! We had such a tough time finding a space for a brunch and are so very happy we stumbled upon Elm City Social. Ryan was so helpful and easy to work with and helped us put together an awesome brunch in our budget for around 150 people. We spread out on the roof deck and the loft space inside and the whole restaurant is such a great space. We had a beautiful day too with made the roof deck that much more amazing. The food and drinks were great and plentiful, and it was a wonderful experience overall! I would recommend Elm City Social for a post-wedding brunch!

Our wedding reception at the canal dock boathouse was everything we imagined plus more. The venue is absolutely beautiful with the floor to ceiling windows and view of the sound. Erika was more than accommodating and helped us every step of the way. She gave us recommendations for all our vendors and walked us through the whole process. I give the venue 5 stars without a doubt. I joke with my husband that I hope to get invited to a future event so we can actually have time to enjoy it! The only thing I wish they had was more available parking. We were able to use the maritime center and get shuttle service but it did add to the total cost. Other than that I cant think of anything I would have had different. A day that will sure go down in history!
