My husband and I got married at SR 3 weeks ago. We had an amazing experience from start to finish. This was the first venue we saw and it gave me that "Beauty and the Beast" library feeling. We also loved the idea of the Wedding Expo for the food tasting rather than an intimate setting for a few meals. Our planner, Linda, was wonderful. Super nice, thoughtful and flexible. My husband is an engineer, so he needs to see things several times before he can make sense of it in his head. She met us at the venue on separate occasions so he could figure out what he needed to figure out. The day of our wedding, Jonna and Judy were ESSENTIAL to making our day the way it was. Everything went off without a hitch - they were so accommodating, thoughtful and pleasant. They were attentive without being overbearing (that was really inmportant to us). The waitstaff were all wonderful and treated our guests well - always asking if they could get them anything else (we did dinner stations) when they didn't have to. Drinks were always quick to hit the tables, and empty plates cleared just as quickly. The bartending staff were hilarious - a lot of our guests had fun with them. And if anyone is thinking about the cappuccino cart - DO IT. All our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say, and even 3 weeks later, we are still receiving phone calls and texts about how wonderful the day was, how good the food and bar was, to how beautiful the venue is. We are already thinking about when / how we can throw another party there. We truly had a magical day, and would recommend the SR to anyone looking for a venue.

We want to share the fantastic experience we had in planning and having our daughter’s wedding recently at the Hartford Marriott Downtown. From our first meeting through all the planning, the details of the ceremony and reception, Lauren Pastoreck, the wedding planner at the Marriott, was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and fun to work with. She was also helpful in coordinating with our vendors and with so many helpful tips. The Marriott itself is beautiful with lovely views of downtown Hartford and all our guests seemed to be very comfortable and happy there. The staff was quite helpful and kind, as well. We highly recommend!!

There aren't enough words to describe the most amazing, spectacular, wedding. That is no exaggeration from beginning to end, Nina and her crew ms.annie her husband and family; truly treat you like royalty. Nina attention to detail is insurmountable and out of this world. She displays her passion through every aspect of her job, especially to create the dream for the couple. Without a doubt dont think twice. Call the bond and utilize their venue. It will create the vision you're looking for...oh and as an extra package Luna is very comforting, and does a great final check.. #ctbrides #howardroyale2020

We chose the Bushnell Theater for our wedding as it held sentimental value for our family and it was a unique, "not-your-typical" wedding venue. From the multiple beautiful spaces (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), to the responsiveness and professionalism of the staff was unparalleled. Our wedding was out of an absolute dream and I wish I could live that day over and over again.

They were incredible! The club provided everything we asked for and were so accommodating. This was by far the best value for a wedding venue. The wait staff was amazing and attentive, the coordinators were phenomenal and did anything we asked for. The food is incredible and you can't beat having access to a private lot in Hartford. Loved everything about it!

We wanted a blank canvas. We had 2 ballrooms. My wife had a vision an they executed it to perfection. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable. Julia Miller was simply AMAZING. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with a great view and immaculate service check it out. It isn't the traditional place but that's what made it what it was, a simply elegant and sophisticated affair. My wife and I, as well as our guests were gushing about our wedding. We heard "wedding of the century," "epic," etc. We could not be happier with our experience. Julia and her team made sure we were taken care of from the first appointment to even a few weeks AFTER the wedding. They were attentive, customer service oriented, extremely professional yet warm, and our 375 guests absolutely loved it.

We had our hotel block at the Goodwin and hosted the wedding party and used it as our getting ready venue. They were nothing short of amazing. They were always super flexible with my requests and always what more could they do to help us. It really meant a lot! We were also able to coordinate a super yummy breakfast of breakfast sandwiches and fun donuts delivered to our bridal suite the morning of so we were all happily fed without anyone needing to do anything. I highly recommend them for anything hotel related ever! Thank you for everything!

Our wedding at the Twain House was absolutely magical! We were worried about planning because we live out of state, but our coordinator at the Twain House, Grace, did an amazing job at making sure that everything went smoothly. The venue itself was gorgeous, not just in terms of the house itself, but also the scenery and landscaping. So many of our guests commented about how lovely everything looked. We alao loved the option for private tours, so that our friends and family could see the beautiful interior and learn about the history of the house. I would definitely recommend the Twain House for your "Happily Ever After".

Susannah did everything to the point and more, The venue is awesome for our size . you wont even notice the staff, just serving around drinks during the toast and the welcome drinks just keep flowing.
